Everyone seems to use pretty much the same recipe with some slight variations. The muffins I had here were weird. I don't know what that dominant spice they used is but it was really kind of awful. There are NO WORDS to describe how much every single person in our group raved over this cake! It was super moist. The fresh fruit brought a lovely light acidity to the chocolate, and the whip cream was light and not too sweet. The cake wasn't too sweet either. My stepdaughter's husband actually never eats cake because he thinks it is too sweet and honestly, we couldn't stop him from seconds (and thirds) and each time he was in awe of how much he loved it!
