Sometimes you find some of the best places almost by accident. When the restaurant we intended to go to was closed, we found this place. Yelp said it's the most viewed Tex-Mex restaurant in Allen and after tonight I understand why. This is a small family run place and there is another level to the love that is put into what they do. The ambiance and service are a bit homey, and that's alright in my book. I ordered Queso and it was delicious. I also ordered Chicken Fajitas, and they pretty much rocked. For dessert we had Churros and omg, I shouldn't have, but was glad I did! Review #2103

Haven't been here in a while and thought I'd check it out. Last visit the solid Tex Mex satisfied. This trip a few soft spots but overall good enough. My cheese enchilada with rice, beans and crunchy beef taco was good. However, the food could have been hotter and the taco meat was on the salty side. The tacos Polanco were made with fajita meat which was delicious. However, the guacamole was a feeble attempt after thought. The customary complementary chips are substandard and salsa just ok. Prices are still decent for 2024 but creeping up. After letting this review simmer overnight I've decided. Three stars is what they deserve. That's tough because they used to be so good. However, when I really dig down to uncover how I feel, these guys are last on my list for Tex Mex and there's good reason. I'm sure if they wanted to they could flirt with five stars but, the" want to 'has left the house. Seems they're satisfied with just good enough. Revised menu nus one star

Had to do another visit- start with a dirty martini, then the dinner burrito side of Molly sause and don't forget the churro with caramel baby!

Small Family Business that offers delicious food, from Pescado al Mojo de Ajo to Tex-Mex Enchiladas. Their Tres Leches Cake and Flan are a bomb full of flavor. The service is quick and caring. The ambiance is intimate and homey. A wonderful spot to get a well rounded and exquisite Top Shelf Margarita after a tough day at work. Miguel and team truly care for all customers that come in. Miguel treats everyone like family. An amazing place to enjoy a delicious meal and have a great time.

We tried Anasofia's for dinner, and we loved the food. The ambiance was also perfect, and the service was good, though it was difficult for us to communicate what we wanted in English and understand the lady serving us as she was talking mainly in Spanish. Regardless, we got exactly what we ordered. We were a group of 6 and ordered vegetarian and non-vegetarian items on the menu; every item was good. They have delicious margaritas as well. Since I am a vegetarian, I will write about what I tried specifically. For starters, we had the chips & salsa. I had Chili Relleno ( vegetarian version with no meat or beef) for the main course, and it was super yummy! We will be back to this place. It is a must-try!

Great service. Great food. Salmon was excellent. Cooked very well Hubby had fajitas. They were tasty

I want to love small businesses! We visited on May 9th, 2025. We were greeted happily and seated promptly at lunch on a Friday. There were about 6 people in the restaurant at about 12:30 pm. I first noticed how stocked the bar was. A nice area and a wide range of alcohol. Place looked clean around the table areas. We were seated next to the bar. TV's were visible from most seating areas. I ordered a top shelf margarita which is a must for trying a New Mexican restaurant and it was good! $13.50 but it was a good drink. Personally, I think lowering the price of the drinks a bit would bring more people in. We ordered lunch chicken fajitas for one to split. There was plenty of food but the down side is the food was not very flavorful. In addition, the chicken and green peppers were large pieces so even to put them on your tortilla you had to cut them with a knife into smaller pieces. The hot sauce was very bland and we asked for a hotter spicier version which we tried and ... still bland. We ended up mixing the green, red and "spicy" versions all together but still bland. The chips were good and appeared to have been homemade. The flour tortillas were an odd color of yellow and after tasting my husband knew they had been cooked in butter instead of a healthier olive oil or such. I know this is a small place with not much space but there were plenty of seating booths so I'm not sure why in an open area exposed to all patrons was a lot of unopened boxes and cleaning supplies and clutter (I've included a photo). Our server was lovely and attentive. So the best part about this visit was the drink, service, and the chips. We can't go back based on those three things.

It's a decent tex mex option, but in a sea of tex mex restaurants, it didn't do enough for us to return. I would say that it is most similar to Salsa Tex Mex in terms of offerings and flavor. We tried the fajitas, enchiladas, and can easily say we've had better at multiple places around the metroplex, and in the area. The food wasn't bad, but nothing stood out and nothing you couldn't find better in a 10 mile radius. Chips weren't fresh, salsa tasted mediocre, tortillas weren't fresh, and they serve sodas in cans. Service was a little lackluster but I won't factor one waiter into our score. Ambiance was pretty standard for a strip mall tex mex restaurant, with a small patio out front by the parking lot. It wasn't good enough for us to return, even if someone invited us...we'd probably try to suggest something else. It's not terrible, but there's better. Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5

They brought a large basket of perfectly crispy, warm chips with salsa and took my order. I got the #15 lunch special which is your choice of two enchiladas (I got sour cream chicken), rice and beans. The food was served quickly and at the perfect temperature. My enchiladas were bursting with chicken and the sour cream sauce was the perfect compliment. The rice was excellent as well. Even the iced tea is great, and featured a legit lemon slice. They have a full bar which I'll be trying on my next visit and two large TVs set where you can see one or both from any seat in the dining room. I told my server she's going to get sick of seeing me because I'll be here at least twice a week! Service was excellent by the way. My tea was even refilled without having to ask. It was a 10 star meal!

We entered and no one says anything, lady came in after us waiting, shoving us to see if there is a list for waiting... like girl were the only two people in line. We got sat and the workers are very friendly, no problem there. Chips were good and came out crisp. I ordered the two taco plate. Taco shell was very stale, was very sad. The ground beef wasn't that good, chicken taco was better (surprisingly). Rice and beans were decent. Overall, didn't hate it here, but also not that great. There was a lot of people here and a lot of people waiting to be seated as well.

The tables and floors are dirty with flakes of food. Just down right dirty. Ugh. Not sure when they ever wipe them down, if ever. Of all the tables on several visits I couldn't find a clean table to sit and eat. It's a taqueria? But, still offer table seating. I'm so confused. Not the usual spotless Mexican kitchen. The floors are dirty. Ugh. Crumbs all over the floor and it's sticky. I think most folks use Uber Eats. That's why they don't have a standard inside. Usually, kids, and I mean kids 16 and younger are running the counter and kitchen. The bottles are never wiped down. Caked on food on ketchup, green sauce, and red sauce bottles. Thus far I've not gotten sick. They don't speak English, but then I don't speak Spanish. So it's a wash! I'll probably go back. And pray every time I don't get sick. Thus far I've dodged the bullet! I'd like to support a small business. However, the prices are stupid crazy! Salsa and chips are $5.50. Refills are $1 each time for salsa. Pay up front too. Then they serve you. Don't expect refills either you have to pay first. ( I still leave a tip, but probably shouldn't). Food is always decent! Just know when eating in, it's not up to expectations as a consumer. Make your own judgments. Sticking to Uber eats may be your best bet! That way you don't see what really goes on inside this establishment. June-September 2024
