Had lunch here today and had a great experience! The service was excellent and attentive. The food was good. The complimentary chips for the table came with 4 different sauces - two salsas, one bean dip and one guac. I ordered the lunch brisket tacos- brisket was a little dry. Bathroom is super clean and there's a changing table. Parking is easy. Will be back!

Nice spot, conveniently located across from our hotel while staying for a business trip. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious! I could have easily just filled up on this. The verde salsa had a refreshing tartness . It was not spicy but flavorful. The red was my favorite...it had a sweet note to it that went well with the saltiness of the chips. The black bean dip was delish...nice and smooth. We tried the A La Gloria ...a beautiful enchilada trio with a red, green, and sour cream topping/sauce. The shredded chicken was moist and the tortillas were nice and soft. I also tried the skinny margarita...a nice lil cheat without feeling guilty. The manager even came out to great the guests which I thought was a classy touch. Love the ambiance - mellow and modern. We opted for patio seating that night which was nice as it was by the splash pad :)

Great dinning experience.... Go! Now that's out of the way,let me explain. Over 35 years ago,I ate several times at Gloria's original Salvadoran Cafe in Oak Cliff She worked for her sister but her sister wanted out, so Gloria bought it. The rest is history. After expanding all over Dallas, Gloria is now in all major Texas cities. A true American success story. I'll admit, for a long time I wasn't a fan. Her cooking at the little 6 table cafe was home style Salvadoran exquisitely prepared with love. I understand developing a large commercial success required sacrifice. I still miss it . The 2025 menu incarnation has something for everyone. Even me. I was happy and won't hesitate to drop in to locations around Texas. You should too. Go!

Great spot in Fairview for Latin Cuisine. Great menu options, there is definitely something for everyone, drinks are pricey, but overall a great spot for dinner.

We came here again for lunch on July 4th, and our visit went well as always. The food was great as well as the service. We will definitely be back.

Very mixed experience, with very good conscientious table service but very mediocre food. Gloria's is a chain of Latin Cuisine restaurants found throughout Texas, focusing on Salvadorian and Tex-Mex cuisine. Founded in 1986, it has since expanded to 23 restaurants. I've been to this location of Gloria's a couple of times before (once for a work function and another just by myself), with great experiences, especially remembering their complementary bean dip, value prices, and good service. So when visitors wanted to try Tex-Mex during their Texas stay, I suggested the nearby Gloria's. I made the mistake of not making a reservation for our group of seven, and once we got there, there was a line out the door. Strangely, it didn't appear that busy inside (thinking they do a good job of keeping the inside bustle away from the bar/front of house area). We were quoted a 20 minute wait for our large group if willing to sit outside, and sure enough in 20 minutes we were seated. We were given complementary chips with bean dip and two salsas. They were addicting. Our server, Valeria, was super attentive throughout, making sure our water glasses were constantly full, chips refilled, and providing any non-food items that we needed. She suggested guacamole ($7 for small) and con queso ($7) as apps. These came out quickly, and I found them to be quite good. We then placed our order. The food took a LONG time to come out, and thus because we filled up on chips and the good salsa while we waited, really affected our appetite. The food had been plated at different times, but only brought out together once the last dish was ready...which caused the dreaded waxy film over food...expected in buffet platters...not individually plated dishes. And even then, it just wasn't prepared well: with the enchilada sauce not being flavorful, the chicken in the dishes being very dry or overcooked, the fajita vegetables being prepared too thickly and not cooked through. My mom did enjoy her Mariscada ($24 for seafood soup) and I enjoyed my Ceviche Trio appetizer ($16)...I was the only one in my party who loves raw seafood. But in terms of the plated dishes: Chile Relleno ($16), skirt steak fajitas ($22), Enchiladas a la Gloria ($18), and chicken & steak fajitas for two ($29), nobody really said anything about the food while sampling, which is a bad sign. I did touch base with one of them after, and he gave me his feedback about the dryness and lack of taste (though he did mention that he really liked the refried beans). Most of the food was left over, and to go boxes were provided. In summary, the kitchen just wasn't very good this time around in both how they prepared the dishes and how it was sent out to us. It was definitely an off night for them, and unfortunate for us (though lucky for me since the price would have been twice as much if in California).

Me and the wife went for some soup yesterday since it was chilly outside. We both git a small bowl of chicken tortilla soup. She got coffee while I got the frozen house Margarita. Soup was excellent as well as the margarita and chips, salsas and bean dip.

Gloria's is a great spot to have a couple of drinks and good food. I loved this location, it felt more upscale than others I've visited. Service was great and food came out quickly! I really like their pupusas but we opted for a different appetizer- the queso fundido. It was made into tacos for us table-side so that was a nice touch! I highly recommend the lechon asado here. I tried the salmon on my most recent visit and was pleased, my boyfriend opted for the steak (per usual) and it was really good, too.

Great place, great service, and great food!! I've been enjoying Gloria's since moving to Fairview 17 years ago! This place is consistently full and in a great location. My favorite the last few years has been the Serrano Garlic Salmon!! SO DELICIOUS!!

As a vegetarian, finding good Latin food is actually surprisingly difficult. And unfortunately, my experience at Gloria's was no exception. The service and ambiance were excellent. My server Leonardo was very knowledgeable about the foods and helped me figure out what I could and couldn't eat. However, most of their foods fell into that second category. The rice and beans use chicken stock so that left me with entrees with no side dishes or a vegetarian black bean soup. I chose the soup and to fill up on the chips and salsa. The food was delicious. The chips and salsa were great and the black bean soup was very savory and not too salty. They don't have draft beer but they brought out the bottle with a chilled glass which was a nice touch. I could take off a star for the lack of vegetarian options but the cost was fairly reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber and the service really was great. Vegetarians may not be fully satisfied but for everyone else this place is well worth trying.

My husband chose Gloria's for his birthday and we were so happy to have been sat in a quiet section of the restaurant away from everyone else. Our waitress was very fast, stayed on top of all the drink refills and paid attention to everything we asked directly and indirectly. We've eaten here before and we know the food was good, so that goes without saying. I was just incredibly impressed with our experience last night and wanted to give a shout out to Gloria's for always meeting and exceeding our expectations

Carne asada comes with beans, yucca, plantains, and gremolata.

Astonishingly good food. Half the menu is tex-mex things done unusually well, and the other half is Salvadorian food like I've never had before. I love everything I've tasted so far.

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. However, there are some things better kept to oneself.

The gentleman practically went over the entire menu with us which was much appreciated . We were constantly checked on and felt really welcomed. My friend got a coffee and said it was very good . We also tried the lulo and Maracuya juice . I highly recommend the lulo if you enjoy tart and sweet ( the maracuya was a bit too sweet for my liking ). We started off with the empanada sampler and Marcilla au gratin . Not big fans of the marcilla - way too much dairy . The sausage itself was good, but wouldn't get it again . Our favorite empanada was the calentao followed by the brisket. The chicken was just ok. We both agreed that our main course, the sancocho de costilla was yummy . If you're looking for a hearty soup that feels like a nice warm hug, I'd highly recommend . Overall, worth checking out . I'd come back to try other dishes and grab something from the bakery .

The guy who served us was kind and even made sure our drinks were cool for us. The less good: it's a bit of a run down vibe inside, and there were leaks and AC failings inside when we were there. The menu is a bit hard to discern if you're unfamiliar and only available on QR codes at the tables. My bf got a pork dish and mentioned that it was all kind of one note. His dish was more expensive than my sandwich by several dollars and you can see from my picture that he got much less food. Overall, I left feeling kind of wishy washy about this place. Perhaps it would be a great place to order unique delivery from rather than dining in, and I can appreciate the specialty food options overall.

I knew from the second we walked in, based on the list of made-in-house horchatas and agua frescas, that we were going to be in for a good meal. The menu was refreshingly unique compared to your basic street taco style setup or the usual Tex-Mex mashup of inauthentic tacos topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. Our group of 3 adults, plus my 7 year old niece, shared a bowl of guacamole, which was phenomenal and came mixed with sunflower seeds and topped with crumbled cotija, alongside house-made corn tortilla chips. We also split an elote cup, which was great. My wife got a classic horchata, which was deliciously sweet (but not overly so) with a nice slight punch of cinnamon. I went with water but will definitely try an agua fresca next time. I ordered two tacos, both on house-made flour tortillas (I like corn tortillas but prefer flour when made fresh). The Pollo Azteca, with marinated grilled chicken tenderloin, mango pico, and a drizzle of crema, was phenomenal, and had more flavor than most chicken tacos I've had before. The star of my meal, however, was the Al Pastor, with adobo marinated pork tenderloin, diced pineapple, onions, and cilantro, with a slice of lime to squeeze on top. This was hands down one of the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I was floored. I also tried my wife's Carne Asada tacos, which came topped with cilantro and onions, and a slice of lime, on their house made corn tortillas. The steak was incredibly flavorful, and the corn tortillas were tender without being chewy. We shared a side of rice and beans, which was good, but not the star of the show. The rice was your typical Mexican yellow rice, and the beans were more of a soupy whole-beans style, which reminded me of my Colombian mother-in-law's recipe. The staff makes four homemade salsas, ranging from mild to pretty spicy, and I loved all of them with the exception of the mild. My niece got the kids' cheese quesadilla, which was a simple melted Oaxaca cheese between a flour tortilla, served with rice, beans, and a little side of crema. The last thing I will rave about is the service. The staff was incredibly nice from the minute we walked in, pleasant to talk to when delivering our order and asking how everything was tasting, to the moment we bussed our tables and headed for the door. I cannot wait to come back again, and I hope they stay very busy until I'm able to do so, because I want this place to be around for a very long time!

If you're looking for delicious food, a welcoming environment, and a place that truly feels like home, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back!

This place used to be one of my go-to pupusaria's when I lived in the area. I adored the flavors of…read morethe cortido. So refreshing and a perfect blend of the carrots and cabbage. The jalapeño surprised me but it was very fun. We were greeted immediately and our server was so sweet. The salvi horchata tasted like my Abuela's and it was so delicious and refreshing complement for the bites of the flavorful harmony of pickled veggies, salsa and pupusa. The pupusas were a wonderful texture and the filling to tortilla ratio was excellent. Super cute decor and warm, friendly service made my heart warm. Go here!
