    Signature Margarita
    Alexandra A.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink during happy hour and thankfully for us the place was fairly empty. This was on a Monday around 3:30pm so it makes sense as to why it wasn't crowded. Service was consistent and great. Our server checked in on us the perfect amount of times and didn't hover. Ancho and Agave is beautifully designed. I really like the touches of blue from the couches and the numerous and different light fixtures they have. We decided to sit at one of the couches which made me feel like I was at a lounge vs restaurant. My type of vibe. We both got margaritas. I tried the prickly pear and the signature. Between the 2, I preferred the prickly pear. It was just the right amount of sweet. Very refreshing and easy to drink. This was my first alcoholic beverage since giving birth, so for me, it was strong. For others? It might not be, lol. This is a place where I see myself coming back to. I really enjoyed my experience here and am looking forward to trying more drinks and also having their food.

We had a really great experience at this Ancho and Agave. It was a beautiful day outside and we were hunting for a patio to enjoy. It just so happened to be happy hour, too - what a great combo! Margs on a patio...say less. As we didn't eat or drink anything off the happy hour menu, this is solely a review for that. We ordered a prickly pear and strawberry pineapple margarita, taquitos and enjoyed some chips with guacamole. The margaritas were good, on the sweet side, but good. I wonder if they're all that sweet or if it depends on which flavor you order. The taquitos were much better than I expected and a large portion of four for $5. The guacamole ranked high above average with the perfect balance of lime and salt. Salsa had a roasty flavor and I'd categorize it as mild. Service was kind and attentive from entering to exit. From this experience, it appears this is a very well run Ancho and Agave - great addition to the Yorktown area.

I was in the area and decide to stop in for lunch. The inside interior is very nice and welcoming. It was packed on this particular Saturday Afternoon. I was seated at the bar which was packed as well. My hostess came right over and filled my glass up with ice water. I didn't have to wait long in placing my order. Everything on the menu is overpriced. The salsa and chips were the only thing that was favorable. A&A is not the place to come if you are looking for some good authentic Mexican food. The cilantro lime rice and black beans were dry with no flavor. Not to mention the meat on my tacos weren't good. There were 2 women sitting next to me. Who were also disgusted with their food. And opted out their fish tacos for appetizers. Nice prompt service, outside and inside decor is colorful and beautiful. The food and drinks just didn't get my approval. Needs improvement

Ancho & Agave is a fairly new addition to the Yorktown area, so after seeing a few glowing reviews combined with a craving for Mexican, I grabbed an Uber from my nearby hotel and made a lunch date with myself out of it. Ancho & Agave are Tex-Mex inspired and have all the classics from tacos to nachos, enchiladas to burritos, and a few things in between. The vibe in the place is energetic with lots of windows, bright artwork and decor, along with neon and lit signs through out. The food was okay, a bit overpriced for the quality. I went with the birria tacos that were sided with cilantro lime rice and refried beans. The tacos were well prepared, but the meat and consommé were lacking the spice I am used to. The rice is bland and the beans were beans. Additionally, I got queso to start my meal and it was also lacking in flavor beyond the cheese. There were pickled veggies, but the actual dip was forgettable. Relating to pricing, my lunch of queso, birria tacos, rice and beans with a water cost me close to $40. Overall, while the atmosphere was pleasant, the hype behind the place was not in line with what I experienced. I may have a different experience collectively as a larger group, but my singular experience would not bring me back on my next visit to Lombard.

Food was subpar we wanted to come here for a quick business lunch because of the beautiful space. I really couldn't eat my entree . Our server Dyonara was very attentive and pleasant. Hope the food quality improves soon because it's a nice addition to the restaurants in the area

First off, the space is beautiful. Really well thought out and decorated, I loved the design and lighting. The outdoor area looked like a nice spot to hang out on a warm day. The staff was warm and welcoming and our waitress was nice. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. I should have known from the salsa, which was bland. The rest of the meal followed suit. The was a mix up and my husband received a burrito bowl instead of a burrito. We were able to get it fixed, but it was the saddest burrito he's ever had. The mole sauce on my enchilada was good, but the carnitas were mushy and just not very good. The drinks were okay, I had sangria and my friends had the seasonal cocktails. They didn't love theirs. Overall, they need to work on their food. The space and staff are great, but for the cost, we're better off going to grab a burrito at so many other places that are authentic and have flavor.

Great decor, perfect for group, gluten free, vegetarian, pescatarian, carnivore and " liquid diet friendly", what more can you ask for! Service is great. I've have the pleasure of being served by a number of staff. Of them, Chris was by far the most personable. Other aspects worth mentioning, ample indoor, outdoor seating and bar seating. Prices are also very reasonable. Two tacos with a side of cilantro rice and beans would be in the $15 range. Margs are approx $12 or $55 for a pitcher. If dining after 5p on a weekend, a reservation is best. Otherwise, there could be a wait.

A beautiful summer evening dinner on the patio! Perfect for a pitcher of delicious margaritas. Our server, Nico, was nicely attentive. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were great but the street tacos were awesome. You choose as many as you want. I went for four, and had a difficult time choosing which was best. Steak Asada, Barbacoa, Carnitas, and Firecracker shrimp!! all amazing!

This place looks really nice on the inside and a great option if you're looking for good photo opportunities. However, I wasn't really impressed by the food. I had the Chicken Asada Burrito made Chimichanga style. It barely had any meat and was full of rice and beans. Flavor-wise, it was a bit bland. However, the queso was good. Another guest had the Stacked Nachos. It was okay but a bit challenging to navigate eating. My jalapeño margarita was spicy but I didn't taste the tequila. Like I said, this is a cute place but the food unfortunately falls short.

This was a phenomenal choice for a double date. We met some friends and enjoyed multiple pitchers of margaritas and trying different flavors. We also shared a flight of tacos, which was a beautiful presentation and filled everyone up. The ability to pick and choose the different tacos made it a crowd pleaser! Our server was super friendly and made sure our drinks were never empty! We enjoyed the outdoor patio in the summer and will definitely be back great location!

I absolutely love this place. The food here was amazing. The service was great. The ambience was phenomenal. I definitely wanna come back again. The people were very friendly and explained to us what was in the food. I will definitely come again and try it.

We had an excellent dinner here. The service was good, the food was better and the drinks were the best! I love unique drinks and they perfected their margarita. I have to say I'm a snob when it comes to margaritas and they were good!

And unfortunately for my dignity, Common Good makes it ridiculously good. Smooth, not overly sweet, and good enough that I'm never going back to pretending I just want regular coffee. Then there's the old-fashioned donut. Holy heck. Crispy edges, soft inside, and flipping phenomenal. I don't know who they're getting their donuts from these days, but whoever is responsible deserves continued employment and possibly dental coverage. The ambience at 7 a.m. is also kind of fantastic. It's basically me, the barista, and whoever is standing across the street waiting for the train. Quiet, relaxed, and just enough civilization outside the window to remind you that other people have places to be while you sit there eating a donut. Next assignment: come back in the afternoon and investigate the cocktails. I take these reviews very seriously. It would be irresponsible journalism to base my findings solely on breakfast without conducting a thorough investigation of the cocktail menu. I didn't choose this responsibility, but I intend to see it through.

I love that their menu changes so often each season with so many different drinks to try and they are all super inventive. I also love that they sometimes put fun little items on the drinks, such as a page from a book, a temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy. This time, they had their spring 2026 menu. I looked at their Instagram page before coming and decided exactly what I wanted. It's so fun how they write a little story to go along with each cocktail and the thought process behind it. It definitely makes the drinks feel more personal and special. We started off with the Rose Tico Conundrum (very sweet and came with a little piece of raspberry candy) and Pepe Silvia's Pickle Party Plot (really delicious, was surprised by this one). Next we tried the speciality API month drink called Gratitude in Bloom (tasted very gingery and lemony, almost like a healthy tea drink) and the Springtime Thought Crime (very strong with a hint of cherry). There isn't much seating so it's not great for huge groups but I think there is a patio. It's a pretty casual spot and great for just hanging out. The music is loud but the vibe is fun. The bartenders and servers are always amazing and super attentive. They do not serve their own food, but I think they have a food truck sometimes that you can order from and they'll bring it to you. I could be wrong about that, but the people next to us had tacos brought to them on paper plates, which looked delicious.
