Wings were horrible. Asked for extra crispy to be safe. They were gooey. Do not get wings here

Great food, good service and a responsive bartender. Can't beat the original Buffalo wings. Wish they had locations in NC.

We were in Buffalo to go to the AKG museum. We were inside for better than 3 hours and were hungry…read more Buffalo....Duff's wings. The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

All right, I hope everybody remembers when they read these reviews that it's all a matter of…read moreopinion I know everybody loves Duff's wings, and well, probably the actual restaurant and everything This was my first time going in there, and I did not care for The surroundings at all. Tables were too close, people are way too loud. I can't eat in loud surroundings. I don't like that, and it was so hot in there that it made me very uncomfortable. I believe all restaurants and bars, etc. should be air-conditioned and make people comfortable. If they're too cold, they can always put on a jacket but when you're too hot, I can't take much off. I ordered the roast beef on Weck and fries instead of potato chips. I was very satisfied it was delicious. Very expensive, I found everything was very expensive on the menu, but if you want good food, I guess that's what you gotta do is pay more. Jim ordered mild wings, they still looked good even though I'm a hot wing person. I was looking at everybody else's huge plates of wings that were coming out and they looked so amazing. I'm definitely gonna get some to take home some time. Anyway, the wings looked good smelled good, Jim said they were very good, my sandwich was good. The fries were good, the waitresses were nice so the service was pretty good. But again too small, too loud, too hot, and those things just don't make me happy. I probably would go in there again and eat if somebody else wanted to, but I'd rather take my food to go next time. One other issue I had is definitely the restroom. That had to be the smallest stall I have ever been in. Anytime I moved I banged into one of the walls. They have two stalls in there, which to me is definitely not enough when you're serving "spicy hot " food. At one point there was five people in the restroom. Luckily, I just had to wash my hands in that visit. But the restroom is way too small and when I talk to Jim about the ladies room, he said the men's room is super small too, so they're probably about the same size. So that was definitely a negative thing for me was the restroom.

It was my first time to Buffalo so naturally I needed to get some Buffalo wings. I went to another…read morerestaurant first, which I won't name but the wings were not good so the next day I tried Bar Bill. Let me tell you, these were some of the best wings I ever had! The restaurant itself is pretty small so it can get packed. As a girl from Michigan I do love ranch, but I was told their Bleu cheese was homemade so I used the bleu cheese and it was delish. Overall a great spot for wings, will definitely be back next time I'm in the Buffalo area. Forgot to take pics :(

I am only reviewing the Beef in Weck, a rare thin sliced roast beef sandwich on a kummelweck roll,…read morewhich has kosher salt and caraway seeds. The top half of the roll often has horseradish spread and it is dowsed with au jus or those are served on the side. The sandwich is local, originating in Buffalo but you can get them in Rochester too. The sandwich comes in three sizes, large, medium and sliders. Choosing the medium, the portion of roast beef was generous. So generous, in fact, that the roll was too small for the sandwich. It was served with au jus to the side and potato chips. The roast beef, allegedly freshly made, tasted clayish. Salt was the dominant flavor, hardly any caraway seed flavor. About half way into the sandwich, I wondered if there was any horsedsdish on the bun. Truly, it was hard to tell, but if there was, it was overwhelmed by the salt along with the caraway. Perhaps there was too much meat for the roll? Lazy caraway seeds? Not enough horseradish? Whatever, it was, at best, disappointing. Now I didn't try anything else and other diners seemed happy plus service was prompt and helpful, the setting friendly and pleasant, so I am reluctant to give two stars but that's actually a more accurate grade for the sandwich. Try the restaurant, but skip the Beef on Weck.

Bit of a redneck feel, good thing I was wearing a plaid flannel shirt! The wings were nice and big, cooked just as I requested. Hot and crispy The beef was piled high on a nice fresh roll. Nice and juicy too. The fries were outstanding We liked this place and would go back again

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It is exactly what you would expect for a tavern…read more It's clean with darker tones, pleasant people and they check on how your experience was. All of that was positive. The food was tasty, and we all enjoyed our food. The bad outweighs the good. Our food took a long time. I mean 45 minutes for four people, one being a kids meal. I just had a chicken sandwich and two others had the roast beef sandwich. I ordered fried mushrooms they didn't come out until after my meal when I reminded them that I ordered them (I was kinda hoping for them as an appetizer). My husband asked if the sandwich came with au jus, and the waitress said "no, they are weird about that here". We didn't get horseradish with the sandwiches. It was just a strange experience to get no au jus or horseradish, or the appetizer, and have to wait so long for the meal. I felt like we were inconveniencing them for eating there. The food was good enough that I will most likely try again, but I'm really hoping I'll be able to update my review with a more positive experience.
