I hope the owners see this! I absolutely hate going to this location. I try to avoid it if all possible! As for the pizza of course it taste good it's "&PIZZA" but the service that's comes with it is horrible. First off they NEVER have shrimp or atlease one thing you really want. The customer service is stinks. Someone is always on there period male or female, it's like they hate there job! Just this last time I just went all employees were on there phones in the back area as if we can't see themmeanwhile were standing there looking stupid. 5 mins or more went by before one person said "you got customers" the girl smacking her teeth like she mad?! Where the hell is the manager of this place? The lady taking our order rude AF, mad she hit yo add whatever topping I want like aint this my pizza? Anyways, get to cashier and there nowhere to be found! All the employees standing and watching us as we wait, wait, wait for there cashier to ring us up. You telling me none of them can touch the cash register. I was so happy to get out if there. I'm surprised I Kept my composure. Actually if it wasn't for a friend whose first time was me bringing them to & pizza I would've left. Guess that would've been 1 less customer that I'm Sure they care nothing about. Smh, very disappointed in this location.

Best &pizza in the city. Great quick service with good portions. A few downsides: the coupons almost never scan at this location, and the area can be a bit touch and go this far down on H Street. Street parking is hard to find as well.

I don't know what happened to this location but it has become the worst &pizza location in the district. I've come here so many form and the pizza was always amazing but this time out pizzas were carelessly made (very little ingredients used) and the pizzas somehow got burnt. If you want &pizza be sure to go to another location as this one needs some re-training.

Who comes to &pizza, and why? What not to forget: Your car keys....... &Pizza. Italians are famous for style, being skinny, soccer, gelato, pasta, mopeds, age gaps, crime levels, beautiful old cities....... &pizza. The last item on that list is literally the only thing that the US has been able to take, and improve upon. Most pizza snobs would say otherwise, but American Pizza is simultaneously very different from - and probably superior to - that in Italia. But surely not this place? Or so I thought. Indeed, I thought I knew it all. I came here expecting absolute crap hipster pizza - because every create your own fresh new take on Pizza has been absolutely atrocious... until now. My goodness I was just trying the wrong places wasn't I. They asked if I wanted salt on the pizza. I said no - pepperonly. This chain has finally woken me to the idea that create your own pizza can actually be amazing. All of the parts are sensational. All the toppings are delicious. They know exactly what they're doing and they do it very well. The bread is as remarkable as the sauce which is as wonderful as the spices they put on it. I asked where they got the idea for these sauces, and they said they cannot reveal the sauces of their sauces. My information came from a sauce whose identity will remain anonymous for his or her protection. Okay, service is lacking a little something but I would still come back here anytime and everytime I'm in DC, because I've honestly not had many pizzas this good in my life. You can see from the picture how enormous it is - but what's even bigger is the wonderful taste. Indescribably good, in fact. I was going to leave it there, but I've crust a line, and there's no going back, so I will continue. It's actually the best pizza in the DC area by a long distance - and although that's not saying much, it would actually be one of the best in any City it was located in. I will be back whenever in DC, and you should be, too. For a change, it's actually not hype. This local chain completely rules DC Pizza and rewrites the pizza rules. And if you use the bathroom, please tinkle into the bowl, not on the walls. I said they rewrote the pizza rules, not the pissing rules.

This pizza was just ok. I personally found the pizza a bit dry, could have used more sauce. The pesto was good though.

The macaroni was overcooked, falling apart, and sour like it was cooked in vinegar water and disintegrating. ?? Why? There was barely any "cheese" sauce on the mac. That was so weirdly bad, especially in comparison to how good the other stuff was. Stick with the burger and fries. I think this was the place where the sauce was kind of like -- spoiler-- Good-Good Sauce. IYKYK. From a popular late night munchies grub kind of fast food place. Not my thing, personally, so I had a taste and enjoyed the fries without it. The fries are THAT GOOD anyway. Crispy, thick and sometimes fluffy. I like most fries. These were fresh even when sent out in delivery. I'm not trying to set the bar high, but our experience was pretty good. I wouldn't feed that mac and cheese to anyone who wasn't in dire need of immediate sustenance and had no other options. Why did it taste like vinegar water? It tasted "wet" and "soggy" instead of cooked, you know? Gosh. I didn't know I would experience a new low in bad restaurant mac and cheese, but apparently, there's a million ways to make that one bad. Why is it on the menu?

Here's how I see it:…read more MITA delivered a dining experience that felt thoughtful from the first course to the final spoonful. As someone who does not typically gravitate toward vegetarian/vegan menus, the meal felt especially fresh and quietly innovative--proof that vegetable-forward cuisine, when handled with this level of intent, can be just as compelling, layered, and satisfying as any traditional tasting menu. Opting for the Camino Corto menu proved to be a well-judged choice. Paired with the supplemental arepas, it offered a generous and satisfying progression without ever feeling heavy. The arepas--served with guasacaca, cashew sour cream, and chontaduro butter--were an excellent addition, setting a warm, flavorful tone and easily standing as a highlight on their own. From there, the menu unfolded with precision and clarity. The picaron with persimmon, lúcuma, and huacatay was playful yet composed. The arracacha with fava beans, plantain, and mushroom dashi brought depth and umami-driven warmth, while the watermelon ceviche with white soy, cilantro, and quinoa delivered brightness and balance. The malanga course offered satisfyingly to-the-perfect point chewy texture, and the arroz con gandules--pigeon peas, sofrito, and sea beans--managed to feel both comforting and refined, a balance not easily achieved. Dessert, a modern bienmesabe with coconut sponge, coconut praline, and pineapple sorbet, closed the meal with elegance and lift. What stood out most was how seamlessly the kitchen elevated vegetables beyond expectation--never as substitutes, but as the main event. Each dish felt intentional, expressive, and complete. Service mirrored the cuisine in its composure and warmth: attentive without intrusion, polished without stiffness. There is a quiet confidence throughout MITA that allows guests to settle in and fully engage with the experience. This is the kind of restaurant that shifts perspective--where even a dedicated omnivore leaves not missing anything, but instead discovering something new. Respect to the chefs and the entire team for a meal that was both elegant and deeply satisfying.

Because it was a set prix-fixe that wasn't posted publicly beforehand, it felt like a bit of a gamble, and unfortunately, it didn't pay off for my group. There was very little room for accommodating dietary preferences, which was surprising for a vegetable-forward concept. It would have helped if they had made the menu public so we knew what to expect before sitting down. The Malanga Gnocchi was a letdown. As a main course, it felt uninspired and lacked the "wow" factor I expected from a place with this reputation. Overall, I felt the dishes could have been much more inventive. For a Michelin-level spot, the flavors felt a bit safe and didn't showcase the full potential of plant-based Latin cuisine. The service remains attentive and the space is beautiful, but for the price point, I wanted more.

On the side, I added a Garlic Naan. We were looking for a quick meal. SpiceX delivered a good amount of flavor at fast food speeds. If you're looking for a sit-down experience, this location is at a bit of a disadvantage since all of these components are put into a plastic tray, everything is intermingling, and it looks like a mess. They only have plastic forks and knives (no spoons) which makes it hard to eat these saucy dishes. Lastly, since a lot of things are pre-made, they're not super hot and they don't adjust the spice level. My favorite thing about naan is it tastes like fresh bread from the oven, which you don't get here. Everything is very mild, and we normally get dishes mild to medium in heat level. If you can get past all that, I think all the flavors are pretty good and the price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. If you're in this area, I think it is a worthy choice for a quick and affordable meal.
