Why the one star? Returns are store credit only. This is the most ridiculous return policy, especially for a design store. Sometimes items just don't work for the space/idea one might have for them. If an item is returned within days of purchase as result, the expectation is full refund. I do understand it is a small boutique shop. However, I would think return customers would be your bread and butter. I will not be returning as a result of this return policy. (Pun fully intended.) Edit: It is never clear to me why businesses insist on attempting to resolve an issue by simply restating their policy. Suggestion, if response is simply to restate, then don't respond. Said return policy is not clearly posted. If this were the case, purchase would never have been made. Suggestion, inform patrons verbally at time of purchase.

I always try to support local businesses, especially children's stores, but unfortunately my experiences here have consistently felt unwelcoming. My most recent visit was while shopping for my daughter's upcoming 3rd birthday. When I walked in, neither of the two employees in the store acknowledged me. After a while, I received a very cold greeting from one of them. During checkout, I commented that it was nice to see they carried adult clothing as well, and the owner responded with, "We always have," in a tone that came across as harsh and dismissive. On its own, this interaction might not have been a big deal, but it reflects a pattern I've experienced over the years. I've repeatedly found the atmosphere to be unfriendly, particularly in my interactions with the owner. As a parent who regularly shops for children's clothing and enjoys supporting local businesses, customer service matters. I want to spend my money where customers feel welcomed and appreciated. Because of the consistent lack of warmth and customer care I've experienced, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. That's disappointing, because I genuinely prefer supporting neighborhood businesses whenever possible.

When I went in she informed me that I did not have an appointment. I had all my clothes in order. She begrudgingly took my items saying "Well, I dont see any stains..yet". She was so rude and condescending. I left about 5 items with her in the end. Im happy to report all of my items sold. This is a wonderful resale shop. I've bought a few items here. Sadly, I really felt like she thought I was not worthy of even being in the store. I've never been treated so shoddily and I have no idea why. For littles 18 months and up on Mondays and Fridays they offer an art class at 10am. The first class is free which is awesome because you can check it out without making a commitment. Then, classes are $12 or if you purchase a 4 pack, you get 10% off. It's drop in style which is great because our schedule can change suddenly with my 2 year old. The toy shop itself is also very cool with a wonderfully large assortment of toys. Art toys. Educational toys. Trucks. Animals. All the things. The prices are a tad higher than amazon, but I'd rather pay the additional $2 than have to add $20 worth of stuff I do t need to get same day shipping on amazon. The staff is very kind and friendly.
