Purchased a vehicle, they didn't fill gas tank, one key provided. Felt like an old outdated dealership with employees who aren't taken care of, which then leads to them not wanting to take care of customers. The employees are really waiting for uneducated customers they can pretty much rip off for profit margins. I was in the market for a new car. As a first time car buyer, I did a lot of research beforehand, then sent out inquiries for the car I wanted through the main Honda website. There were several dealerships near me that reached out, but Anderson Honda was the most responsive. They were able to answer my questions in a timely manner. They even sent an electronic packet for the prospective car that met what I was shopping for -- color, features, and all. They also had great Yelp reviews too! ;) When they had a special and we had locked in a price in writing, my husband and I decided to stop by to check out the car. When we were at the dealership, we prepared for some sales tactics and add ons. Once we were there, we were helped by Jeremy and were shown to vehicle that was discussed via email. I did a test drive of the car, then we were ready to talk paperwork assuming the price from email communication still stood. We were transparent from the get go that we didn't want any add ons to the vehicle. We were surprised how little of a fight we had to put up. Jeremy did explain some add ons that they do have available. Once we said that we weren't interested, that was all. There was no more trying to convince us to make the purchase. Very bad experience. Bought a new Honda CRV 2025 more than a year ago. The first two days I drove it, I felt a drifting problem. Then I called in many times and brought in the car many times. I was always told there was not a problem. Every time when I brought in the car, they never left a record that I brought in the car for a suspected drifting problem. A month after I bought the car, there was the recall of the car due to a steering wheel manufacturing defect which may cause collisions. But before and after the recall, the drifting problem has always been there. Today I am told the steering is not centered and I am charged for adjusting the steering. Bad and unsafe product and bad service. Will never buy any Honda any more. Please don't buy products here. read more

Such a great car-buying experience. The people here are so genuine, helpful, and never pushy. We worked with Alina and she was amazing -- so patient, kind, and really willing to walk us through everything. She spent hours with me looking at different cars, answering all my questions, letting me test drive -- just really taking her time with me. When I finally chose a car, I ended up wanting a more premium model than I originally planned (nice job Alina, haha!). Even after I told him I couldn't come in, he kept pushing nonstop. When I said I wasn't available that day, he responded with "we are making CRAZY DEALS TODAY not on monday, and I am not here on monday," which honestly felt like straight-up pressure tactics. It came off desperate and completely unprofessional. The constant calls and messages felt more like harassment than customer service. This is not how you treat potential customers. I have never been to this dealership, so I answered today just to let him know he had the wrong number. Instead of apologizing, he hung up on me mid-sentence. Don't try to sell your car here. You will get low-balled and end up wasting time. I received an email from Anderson Honda after expressing interest in selling my car via KBB. The KBB cash offer was very low. I was already getting $1-2K more from Carvana and Carmax. However, Anderson Honda said they would work with me to give me the best offer. They insisted I bring my car in and that the starting point would be much higher than KBB. I brought my car in and they spent 20-30 inspecting the car and drove it around only to come back to me with an offer that wad more or less the same as the KBB one. I'm not upset that the offer was bad, but more that they wasted my time. They knew within the first few minutes of looking at the car that they were probably not going to be much better than KBB and they knew what I was looking for. Instead they spent 20-30 mins doing a detailed inspection when the probability of transacting was zero based on the guidance I provided them. This location gave me the worst offer out of 4 Bay Area Honda dealerships. I recommend going to Stevens Creek. They did a quick inspection and made a decent offer. I don't expect anyone to give me a great offer - after all everyone needs to be able to win in this transaction. But I do expect dealerships to be mindful of prospective customers' time and now low ball to such a significant degree. Bottom line - I do not recommend selling your car here. Maybe the buying the experience is great but the selling experience (and potentially trade in) not so much. read more

We had contacted and called ahead regarding a used vehicle they had in stock, scheduled an appointment, and drove all the way there to see this vehicle. The experience left a bad taste as we had asked ahead of time if the price of the vehicle was negotiable and the sale manager said over the phone that they were "very motivated" to make a sale. I guess that should have been a sign that this was a place that typical used car sales tactics and don't think twice about lying. While the floor salesperson was perfectly knowledgeable and helpful with our test drive of what felt like a mediocre vehicle, when she went back to the manager, she returned stating that the price was firm and that they were even "losing money" at the price posted. How is that even possible? I understand loss leaders for new cars to bring in business physically to the lot, but that's not usually the case for a used vehicle when there's just the one which is still available and they don't carry anything else similar. In any case, we thanked the salesperson and left to embark on our long journey home, annoyed at all the wasted time and fuel. An hour later, we get a call from the used sales director who now wants to smooze and make a deal: $500 and a tank of gas for our troubles saying their price is already the best it can be and they have so many customers driving 3-4 hours to buy. So insulting. Why wait an entire hour to reach out when we're already halfway home? That vehicle had been on the lot for two months already. If they were so motivated to move inventory, then they should have been willing to negotiate while we were still there. All of that felt shady and we will never consider buying anything from them. We ended up flying down to LA a few days later and bought a vehicle there. Great price, amazing service (including pick up from LAX during rush hour), even lowered the price for minor blemishes. I recently purchased a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Sport from associate Jeremy at the dealership. I talked to him over several days and we agreed on a lease deal for 12,000 miles a year and a good monthly payment. I confirmed with him it was a 12,000 mile a year lease. On the day of the deal, Jeremy had the finance paperwork drawn up so me and my father can get out of there fast. I arrived at the dealership and in fact everything went smoothly. I even asked the finance person if the deal was 12k a year and that's what we all expected. I didn't think anything of it until the first bill arrived from Honda.... The dealership submitted a false deal to Honda who only included the 10k a year for miles and not 12k as agreed on between the sales associate and the dealership. I felt completely betrayed and taken advantage of and lied to. I reached out to Jeremy who told me that the dealership wants to "make things right" but also wanted to see where the communication breakdown was. I responded to Jeremy and then stopped responding to my texts. There was no breakdown in communication from my side as I was offered the deal by Jeremy that included 12k miles a year from the start and I confirmed it several times. No one front management has reached out to me to make it right or to give me specific steps on how they will fix this. I am extremely disappointed as I have purchased numerous Hondas from other dealership and had no issues of this sort. read more

This is my ball park guess since 2009 I think our family and friends have bought about 10-12 cars from Joe since then. So I came here on 6/20 to see about a trade in because I needed to get rid of a car and got a good price and a very good deal on CRV Hybrid. Went home to think about it and talk to the family about a CRV or Rav4 and the color they like. Talk to Joe for a bit on 6/21 because he didn't have the color my mom and sister wanted so I told him I don't know and search other places. And almost went and got a Rav4 but my sister and mom finally told me they like the CRV better. Then Joe did one last text and told me I could give you this if you come in so I came in because it was the best discount I know no one will beat it. Salesperson was super friendly but follow through is TERRIBLE. As soon as you start toward the paperwork, you will see and feel the change. This is how you will be treated from that point on. Paperwork took forever and they were VERY pushy in finance - even though we paid cash. They would not stop talking about the extras and ad on contracts we could cancel. When we were finally done and ready to go home, they only had 1 key for our car. Said they'd look for the 2nd but never followed up. It cost us $300 at Costco to have 2nd key fob programmed. Now 3mos later, I am trying to cancel the ad on 'tech service contract' through Fidelity Warranty Services and it is so far impossible. Dealership took the call then transferred me to service, now won't pick up my call when they heard what it was about. And the FWS site is not allowing me to create an account. read more

The service advisor refused to honor it since I was 7 days past due, terrible experience over a oil change worth $108.95. I would never buy another vehicle at this cheap location. He was able to find us the car we wanted in the color and trim we wanted and provide a competitive quote via email. We considered another option and he gave us a quote for that as well. When we came in for a test drive he answered all our questions and showed us the car features. The sale was low pressure, finance approval didn't take long. Price was competitive and reasonable. They honored the price we negotiated via email and they didn't require any unwanted add-ons. Waiting area is comfortable and air conditioned with decent chairs.
