We went on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty empty but that was perfectly fine for us, it seemed like they had a good outdoor space for dining as well but we stayed inside, which wasn't huge but not tiny. You order at the bar rather than the table, but we sat right by the front so we actually didn't have to get up to order haha. Everything we had was pretty good, but I would probably try new things next time because none of it was something I felt was a must to try again. We never got a chance to visit while they were in Roanoke, but I wanted to make sure to give them my business because I've heard great things about them! Would like to try again for a happy hour perhaps!

Andersons is a great place and an asset to the community. Service is always friendly, though sometimes there is a wait to order at the bar because of the venue's popularity. They host great events throughout the month. Most recently, my friend and I attended a free Drag Bingo event. It was super fun. There is open seating indoors and out. This event is hosted outside, so weather can have an effect on comfort. I do wish their seating options were a bit more comfortable, but I am also recovering from back surgery so I have to be a little more picky about what chairs I choose. The food and drinks are always good. This last time my friend and I shared a chicken quesadilla and steak fries. Both were amazing. They have an artisan cocktail menu that is added to consistently. I have not yet tried one I didn't like and they are always interesting combinations I wouldn't have thought to try on my own. Highly recommend checking out one of their fun events or just going for a bite and an upscale drink at a decent price!

This is our first time here, and I have to say it's the cutest and most interesting place! I love the whimsical and welcoming vibe; it has such good energy. We came for a book club meeting, and it's the perfect location for that. They have a wonderful, spacious outdoor area to sit and relax under the trees, which will be lovely in the fall. You order your food at the bar, and the staff here are great. If you have questions, they are happy to help and provide recommendations. The loaded fries were amazing; I loved the cut and the crispiness. I'm a fan of Brussels sprouts, and these were delicious--I might be a bit biased, though! For brunch, I had the pancakes with sausage and eggs. The flavor of the pancakes reminded me of funnel cake, and I liked that they were a bit crispy. Overall, for our first visit, I would say it was a huge success. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great food and vibe!

The server was so sweet and explained everything to us. I asked what she would recommend on the flats and she said the fig and could put the hot honey on the side and it was divine !!! Partner ordered Prime rib sandwich and loved it. We're staying away from fries bc we're working out so we got a side salad which was fantastic. And the bill? $27 ! . Plenty of food and had leftovers to bring home.

Went to Anderson's for the first time this past Saturday. Great location and a huge yard and outdoor seating. Loved the open welcoming vibe from the staff. We ordered the BBQ burger with fries, loaded fries, and the sheet cake dessert. Everything was delicious! The fries are pretty crunchy like chips which we loved. Dessert was also delicious and tasted homemade which we loved. Near the end of our visit a local punk band was playing which was pretty cool to get a live local band set. Would love to come back and try more of the menu!

Friday afternoon- stopped here for lunch. Here is what we liked: * Service was nice and was attentive. * Unique cocktail list with their in house spirits. * The fries. Let's talk about thin cut steak fries. Who thought this up? They should be employee of the month- every month. We had both the poutine and Korean fries. Recommend both. * Dog friendly- big outdoor area and provided water and treats- that's a win. Happy dog, happy wife, means I can enjoy beverages. What could be better: * As a distillery how do you not have a flight? You make several spirits, prefect. Tourists (me) will pay for those to try your stuff outside of a cocktail. * The cauliflower bites were good, just needed something.

Great brunch and lunch spot! Had a book club meet up for brunch and they served up a small but good selection of food and drinks. The staff was super friendly! They had a live band playing outside with plenty of fans and open space for the Texas heat, setting the perfect mood. Our friend group even came back later for dinner to watch their drag show. It was a great time and would come back if ever in the area!

I cannot speak to the food as I didn't have a chance to eat, but saw the wings come out of the kitchen, and they looked delicious. Sam, the bartender, was incredibly helpful and made a damn good drink! They use fresh juices and have an entire menu of cocktails to choose from. Love the atmosphere and employees as anyone would feel comfortable here! Can't wait to come back!

Met up with a friend for a late night drink and snack. Our usual spot is Eastside but they were insanely packed so decided Anderson's after Yelping their menu. We came at the perfect time!! Big crowd just left so we got to get some one on one time with Mr. Anderson himself!! The fries were big ol' steak fries and we all enjoyed the pork bbq AND poutine. Very well put together. Mr. Anderson def brightened the place up and we enjoyed chatting with him!! Since I'm Korean, he offered some house kimchi to try so next time I'll order the kimchi fries, WHICH I totally will. It was pretty amazing and I'm very picky when it comes to kimchi. Haha! Go check this little gem out, family owned and loved the outside patio!!

Stopped in on a rainy Thursday evening to a mostly empty restaurant. Ordered a lot of food and everything came out fast, hot, and with large portions. There was a bit of a mixup with our order and they handled it quickly and generously. A part of me wants to keep this place to myself so it's always easy to get an indoor table at... but it's way too delicious not to share. We will definitely be back! Don't sleep on Andersons!

Prime Rib sandwich and what's left of his Caesar salad.

Well that was a pleasant surprise! Had no expectations when we found this place on Yelp. And it was perfect from start to finish. Greeted by staff--friendly & genuine without being pushy or superficial. Quickly served, one of its owners came over and had a nice friendly chat with us, and our food & drinks were flawless. I had a Pineapple Express and Grilled Chicken sandwich with fries. My husband had a Rum Punch and Prime Rib sandwich with Caesar salad. Zero complaints...can't wait to come back for Saturday brunch and live jazz.

Yum! Everything was great! Poutine was super yummy, we also had the prime rib sandwich, pecan pesto sandwich.

The drinks are good but the area for activities and the food (especially dessert) steal the show. Price point is very fair and I can't wait to come back. Met one of the owners who had some great conversation with us. The bar tender was super friendly and he also was teaching a mixology class later that evening. This place is a gem.

The indoor seating is sleek, and the cigar room adds a fun, classy touch for those who want it. We sat outside and loved every bit of it -- the drinks were flavorful and beautifully garnished, and the food hit the spot. This will definitely become a go-to for locals and to take out of town guests. That said, the soft opening felt very mismanaged. Their website said noon on Sunday, and we had a reservation for 3, but when we arrived early at 2, we were told they were closed until 4 -- and they literally locked the gate behind us. We weren't alone either -- several other guests were milling around confused and frustrated. Eventually, they said they'd open at 3, but when we came back, the gate was still locked. After enough guests showed up and clearly weren't thrilled, they opened up. There were a lot of managers in full suits, which felt a bit mismatched for the laid-back, Texas-modern vibe they're going for. Frankly, if this was any other experience, I'd give it a 2 star based on how I felt we were treated, but am giving some grace for the launch and hoping they work it out since the food and venue are so standout. The place has all the ingredients to be incredible if they iron out logistics and better define the experience.
