Wonderful cold plate! 4 salads: knackwurst/gruyere cheese, cucumber/tomato, carrot, and greens.

Excellent service from Stella, as always, who is a bright light!! I found the new (to me) menu format a little confusing, especially if you're ordering the one-price lunch option that comes with your choices from each category: an entrée, two sides, a beverage, and dessert. Among the sides, my favorites are the carrot salad and the spinach salad. Andre's specialty dressing, which comes on both of those, is so good I could drink it! Andre's is a wonderland for the sweets, chocolate, and pastry lover! With that lunch option, you can choose a dessert from the front of the shop Instead of the ones offered on the menu for a small up-charge.

I stopped by André's on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. It's so much more than just a chocolate shop. When you walk in, the chocolate counter is on the left and the café is on the right. The staff at the chocolate counter weren't very welcoming, and I almost turned around and left. But I'm glad I didn't. I headed over to the café side instead, where the service was warm and top notch. The café itself is super charming. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a latte and a blueberry tartlet. Both were delicious! The tartlet was fresh, perfectly balanced, and just the right size for a light treat.

A little pricy but that is expected with pastrie places. All 4 things I tried were fabulous.

    Stale cookies--all jumbled together. Unacceptable!

Received tea cookies as a gift. Cookies were clearly old--stale, chocolate was discolored. Same thing happened last year. Shop would do nothing about it. I was told to contact their shipping. Were they not Andres unless they came from the shop? I assume they all came from the same kitchen. An inferior product is inferior no matter if it came from the store or was shipped. The shop should have e replaced it then and there. Talked with gift-giver. She said hers were stale as well.

I could give this place 5 stars, as their product is very good tasting and looks really nice. So why 4 stars?: - Nothing is labeled in the case, as to what things are. So, you have ask the staff, slowing everything down. This place is busy - and they could spore things up, simply by having things labeled. No pricing, which could be helpful too...and save the staff time on something which is a base customer need: What stuff is and how much it is. - Staff inconsistent in politeness. Today, the staff was quite pleasant and attentive. But a few weeks ago, the staff acted very stand offish, inattentive, and so put out once they helped you. But hey, no mistake about it, the petit fours and chocolates....their product is quite good!

Andre's is the best. Seeing the pastries behind the glass upon entry always gets my blood flowing. I love to shop around and ask what's what and the staff is always so helpful in answering my questions. I felt European on my most recent stop for an afternoon piece of cake with coffee. It was perfect. I was so late that most of the pastries were sold out but that made it easier for me to choose. It was about 4 p.m. and my wife and son almost had the place to ourselves for a quiet cup of coffee. On other visits I've had the premade sandwiches that have always been good. The chocolates are delicious and then one of the best items is the white cake. They usually have a few small white chocolate covered pieces of white cake that can be good for one person. It's always a good choice to buy a white buttercream cake from Andre's for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

Andre's takes you to Switzerland in warm fresh way. Service is warm and caring and friendly. The Prix Fixe Meal was amazingly delicious. He had Vol au Vent chicken and mushroom white wine cream sauce in a puff pastry, carrot salad snd spinach salad without bacon plus coffee and dessert to follow. Also ordered a hot chocolate and both the coffee and hot chocolate came with one of the silver heart chocolates Andre's creates

    Duo Mousse Birthday Cake

This review is late, as my birthday was in June, but I wanted to say that the duo mousse cake was beautifully decorated, and more importantly, tasted delicious. I think this cake is the perfect compromise for chocolate lovers and vanilla lovers. The mousse is creamy and rich, and the cake is light and fluffy. There is definitely an almond extract flavor (which I liked, but my husband didn't). The price was about $35 for a six-inch cake, which is not any more expensive than other bakeries in the area. Anyway, I think your birthday is the perfect time to treat yourself! Ordering and pickup was super easy as well. I will get a birthday cake from here again!

Went on a Friday afternoon to celebrate our friend's birthday and while it was busy, service was great for our lunch, and we didn't have to wait long before we were seated and served. The foods I had were absolutely delicious! So many choices for desserts, I'm a bit surprised at myself for not buying any others on the way out. ;) The venue itself is nice; I prefer it over the one in Overland Park, only in that it seems larger and I like all the wood furniture and art upon entry into the tea room. It doesn't seem cramped with tables at all.

They immediately took care of the issue with a custom box of chocolates. They obviously care about their customers!

Always a delight here at Andre's. It's been a great while since I've been here but other than some new pictures, the Menu remains consistent. Why change a good thing, is what I say. Jane, our waitress was wonderful. We both enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine with a spinach salad, sliced tomatoes and lentil soup. So tasty and a great portion of all items. Our lunch included dessert and coffee, tea as well and just a wonderful selection of sweets to choose from. The lively atmosphere made our visit here so memorable and Jane was a special one, truly delightful. I can't wait to return.

I love a lot of spots around the metro, but let's be honest, some of them get crazy busy and you end up waiting in line for a while. That's not a dealbreaker, but with a summer of social distancing, it's nice to have a spot like Annedore's that is tucked into the neighborhoods, has outdoor seating, and is never too busy. Their gelato is so good, and the service is friendly as it gets. We've made a tradition of walking up here as a family once a week, and together we've ordered or sampled: Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Strawberry, Berry Sorbet, Vanilla, and Lemon Basil. All are great (not crazy about the birthday cake one my kiddo always gets), the Berry Sorbet and Lemon Basil are standouts on a hot day. Their portions are generous, prices are very fair, the outdoor seating is great, and it's a very clean shop. Oh, and I recently discovered that macarons are delicious, and theirs are some of the best around. They're around $2.50 a pop and well worth it. I cannot recommend this place enough for gelato, macarons, and of course chocolate if that's your thing. Want to skip lines for ice cream (well, gelato) this summer and still support local?
