We hired Lloyd to redo our shower system, replace three water shut-off valves, and fix a broken…read moretoilet flange as part of a bathroom remodel. Out of all the jobs that he was hired to do, none were done correctly. First, the shower system and the shut-off valves were installed using Sharkbite push-to-connect fittings which are typically a DIY solution and are far less reliable compared to the standard methods for installing on CPVC and Pex piping. We know from talking to other plumbers that Sharkbite is not what professional plumbers would use in this setting. Second, he claimed that the broken toilet flange could only be replaced by cutting open the ceiling below, which i did not want to do. He ended up installing a $5 spanner flange on top of the broken flange (see pic). Again, this is something a DIY-er could easily do. We asked another plumber afterwards and he told us that the toilet flange could have been replaced without having to open the ceiling below. Lloyd charged us $700 for the parts and labor on this job. We communicated our concerns to Lloyd over email after finding out about the subpar work, but unfortunately we never got any response. We had to pay again to have the work re-done by a professional to ensure our peace of mind that the job was done correctly. Clark spent a lot of time going above and beyond, including taking off the original install seam glue for the upstairs unit (which never was) and accessing hard-to-access screws, indicating they never even cleaned the coil post-install once despite paying for it! No wonder they were always in and out in 15 minutes. But he took the time to do it right. Two things you need when hiring tradespeople- expert knowledge and honesty. This company has both, and I am a lifelong customer now.

I've had multiple experiences with this company over the last 4+ years. It started off well, until…read morethe problems started adding up. A whole new HVAC unit was installed in my attic by this company, they stepped off the rafters and put a hole in my ceiling. Okay, no big deal, but they fought us and tried to blame us for the hole. They ended up fixing it- thanks. Issue after issue with this NEW system. Replaced the mother board, flushed the system multiple times ($$$!!!) and nothing fixed it. Got a new company out- and they quickly assessed the problem- the thermostat wasn't talking to the system, so a $200 fix and the system is working. Next issue a bit later, the system stops working again. Come to find out there was never a secondary drain shut off installed, a new drip pan was not installed, it was caulked where there were cracks!! So as it filled with water, water leaked down two stories to the main floor and we have water issues on the main floor. They also didnt install the only PVC drain properly. They propped it up so it was higher than the lowest point so water would never drain out of it anyways. ABS has royally screwed us over. I will never work with them again. I highly recommend you think twice before you do, as well.

Finally, to give one last opportunity before I wrote a review, I called 2 weeks ago and was told the technician would call me back that day. Not surprisingly I heard nothing. I can only assume that the tech is assuming this job isn't worth his time as he'll make more elsewhere. Really wanted it to work out with these guys. I know a couple of guys who know the owner/manager and they have alot of good things to say about him. Unfortunately I can't even get a quote.
