Chorizo, pork belly, and a potato with Pandebono - Cheese Bread (Gluten-free)
    Kristen G.

I stopped in here because I saw all the good reviews lol. I ordered food to go. The kind woman who helped me was excellent! I didn't catch her name. I asked her what was the most popular and what she liked most and so I ordered the pork belly (which was delicious!), chorizo (also delicious!), and a potato. I also got the cheese bread (gluten free!) and cheesecake. Everything was excellent!! I ordered the Spanish coffee too which she told me was strong. It is! Yumm. And prices are great too! I only wish they had a milk alternative for the coffee, that's all. I can't have milk in my coffee.

My only regret is not coming here sooner. Delicious pastry items - I tried a pandebono, Ecuadorian empanada, and a raspberry filled puff pastry, all of them were great. There are so many other things to try - can't wait to go back. I am told items can sell out quickly, so best to go early! There are a few small counters you can eat at, but mostly for takeout.

Best Spanish coffee and pandebono ever. Gotta have It when It comes out of the oven fresh

Big fan of this bakery. It's run by a family who has owned this place for over 20 years if I remember my history. Everything here tastes freshly home baked and cooked. Most of the cookies are delicious and my favorites are the pandebono's (Columbia cheesy bread) and especially the apple turnovers. Hands down the best place to get both of these items. They also have delicious Spanish coffee which always hits the spot with any of the pastries. The prices are also very cheap which is a win win with the quality. I bought 3 small cookies, an apple turnover and a small Spanish coffee all for $3. This gives you an idea of how affordable they are. I highly recommend this place and you just try. The staff mainly speak Spanish but are friendly and understand some English. Enough to place your order lol. Hope you enjoy

Great empanadas. The cheese one is great and what usually get. Great Spanish coffee. There's typically a small line of people coming in and out in the morning, which is how i discovered the place.

This is within a 5 mile radius of Cake Boss (Carlo's Bakery) but I would come here over Carlo's anytime. And I did, twice in four days. I'm even craving it now. I love the cheese bread (pan con queso). It's pretty much on par with oxygen and other vital essential life sustaining functions. Yes. That's right. I love the pan con queso so much I want to marry it! This is coming from a committed bachelorette. As in, firmly decided, not mentally incarcerated. Back to the pan con queso, it's just so delicious and the cheese is perfection. It's not oozy, it's not slimy, it's just perfect. I haven't found a Colombian bakery on the West Coast, and for good reason. I'd have to give up my Victoria's Secret Angel career for Angel Azul Bakery. Is she serious, you're thinking? Mostly.

Been coming here for years. I grew up in the heights and have eaten from every restaurant. This place has the best coffee and breakfast. Definitely better than rumbas. All the pastries here are fresh and delish. It can get really busy in here. Sometimes the line is out the door.

Passion fruit and blackberry raspado with condensed milk. YES

In search of Colombian raspado (IMO, very different from Mexican raspado), I arrived here. Raspados are shaved or crushed ice dessert drinks with fruit syrups or purees and also drizzled with condensed milk. Here, they had both passion fruit and black berry syrups. I opted for both and didn't regret it. And to think, they were only ~$3.50! I ordered two, one for me and one for the bf, which ended up to be too much for the both of us. One is enough to share if you're into that kind of thing. :P And yes, this place sold cholados, something akin to a raspado, ecxept I believe it is usually topped with fresh fruit. I also grabbed some pandebono. YES. By no means am I an expert on Colombian food, but I've had really good pandebono in the past. The ones here were soft and the cheese perfectly mixed and baked into the bread. I ended up ordering too much so I saved one for the next day and what a good decision that was. (sidenote: I live a driveable distance from JC heights, so saving this last morsel was indeed a good choice) I heated up my last pandebono for 20 seconds in the microwave and it was basically fresh again. I wish I lived closer so I can come here in the early hours of the morning to grab a cafe con leche. This place doesn't disappoint. Oh yes! One last thing. There was a little bit of a language barrier here (must be my North Jersey accent trying to pronounce 'raspado.' Guilty.) But that said, the ladies are nice and try really hard to accommodate you. When one couldn't understand me, she called on another and that was helpful. Don't let language keep you from good food! I'll definitely be back here!

Steak with eggs and fries no complaints here. Filling and satisfying especially with a cold can of soda.

I told him that I meant to order a large one, and he didn't hesitate to insist on remaking me a large one. I told him that it was alright if I was charged for a small, but he wouldn't hear it. The cappuccino was delicious, and he was incredibly kind and generous. The interior and exterior are both adorable, themed with pink and beautiful china. Highly recommend!

Looking for a coffee spot around Hoboken, this place popped up on my Yelp app. It was a yes for me…read moreimmediately when I saw the gorgeous latte artwork. We were greeted warmly by whom I assume is the owner. Since I love pistachio, it was a no brainer for me. As one of my companions is trying to decide, I mumbled under my breath..."the Rose latte is really beautiful." He sighs and says to the barista...okay, I'll have the Rose latte, I'll let her have her picture. I tell the barista that I want it in one of those pretty cup and saucers. I was giddy as a little girl when I got the lattes. Soooo eye-pleasingly beautiful. Most of the Rose latte pics on Yelp has the leaf in white, mine was PINK. I am not a fan of any drinks that taste like a rose. Curious I did take a sip and I was wowed. The rose flavor was very subtle in a wonderful way with the perfect balance of the coffee. I loved my pistachio but decided to switch the rose latte with my companion. It was the best rose lattes I have ever had. They also have homemade treats. Their pistachio baklava is PERFECTION, not too overly sweet. I could eat a dozen of these in one sitting. Limited indoor seating with only 2 tables outside.
