The quality of their work is excellent, and some of the shirts they made for me years ago are still in great condition today. I've tried a few other companies in the past, and in my opinion, they don't even come close to the quality and service I get from Graphic Effect. Edgar, the owner, is always very responsive, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He gets everything done in a timely manner, and he always makes sure the finished product comes out looking right. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the quality of work they provide. They're conveniently located in the North Valley area of San Jose, near Independence High School. If you're looking for custom T-shirts, company uniforms, hoodies, hats, sports apparel, event shirts, or anything custom printed for your business or personal use, I highly recommend giving Graphic Effect a call. I've trusted them with my company apparel for years, and they've never disappointed me. Great quality, great service, and great people. Definitely a five-star business in my book!

He told me to bring my driver cap in so they could take a look and see what they could do. I came to the shop with the driver cap that I had purchased on Amazon and the owner Edgar said they would be able to do it for which I was excited about and for a good price. I'm so glad I was found Graphic Affect to help me out. Edgar provided his recommendations on the font, color, and design to make the names show up nicely. I had 10 caps that I needed emobrodiered within a week of my wedding. Edgar and his team were able to get the embroidery done just in time for the wedding! Highly recommend! Unfortunately, I attempted to reach out to the business multiple times via phone call and even emailed. I never got through once!! The phone line just rings and rings and RINGS!! I made the decision to physically stop by because I really needed to get the ball rolling on my order. I am met with a lady behind the counter who doesn't speak or understand English too well. I asked if Yogi was available and she responded with him not being in. I asked if he would be in tomorrow, and again, she responds with "no". I ask if there is any other employee who could assist in my custom order and she continuously responds with "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know." This was such a waste of time and now I am scrambling to find another store that can accommodate and accurately deliver my order. 3 stars because I genuinely like this place and have been a long time customer for YEARS!! I was connected right away to their executive assistant, Roberta and immediately set a time for that same day. I went and helped with the design Two sweatshirts embroidered in less than 30 minutes. I was in and out of there. It was about $60 (I can't remember how much) But it was a good price for me. I was pleased with the work! I forgot to take a picture of the sweaters but I the gift ended up being a hit! I recommend them! Note: this was for one embroidery on two sweaters. For multiple embroidery pieces and more bulk items please plan accordingly.

On my list of things to do during the funeral preparation was to find someone to embroider his chef jacket. His family decided on keeping his executive chef jacket, hence my needing to find a place that could do the embroidery as soon as possible on one of his other chef jackets. I turned to Yelp. I called so many places and many said it would take at least two weeks. I told each place I didn't have two weeks because my uncle was being buried within a couple of days. Almaden Alterations who my family has been going to for over 25 years highly recommended Imagination Embroidery. Imagination Embroidery was literally a God send. They were professional, compassionate, polite and thorough from start to finish. After they listened to my situation via phone they said, 'bring it over and we will have it done by 4 p.m.' They are not far from the Bee Hive Natural Foods store that my family used to shop at when I was a kid. I raced over there, explained I needed embroidery and a patch (the patch to cover a logo). Grabbed lunch, picked up family from the airport and back to the embroidered chef jacket. The embroidery was excellent quality, so was the patch work. It cost about $50 which seemed reasonable for a rush job. In my nearly eight years of writing Yelp review its great to know that good mom and pop small businesses are operating within our community. Come here to freshen up your old shoes. They repair and all kinds of leather goods beyond shoes including leather bags, wallets, etc. There is also a table full of wallets repaired and cleaned. Every hour with Michelle is an hour well spent, and under her expert guidance, I've made the most beautiful cushions, ottomans, tote bags & even a quilt! Michelle takes everything step by step with you, so nothing feels overwhelming, & before you know it you're heading out the door with another fabulous piece to show off to family & friends. The classes are fun & you learn so much - I feel super accomplished in such a short space of time already. At this point, I'm able to help with her award-winning volunteer program (see link below!). Yesterday I made my first teddy bear for hospice & it's just incredible to think that something you've hand crafted is helping others in the wider community. Michelle teaches both kids & adults, individuals & groups. She also teaches in many locations throughout the Bay Area, & because you can intermix locations it's really easy to catch classes - so I can meet her in Campbell, San Jose, or Los Gatos, whichever spot suits my needs on any given week. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She happily accommodated all of my requests. She even did more complicated and minor things that made a world of difference in how I felt in the dress. She minimized the bust size (which required her to purchase new cups and rebuild that section of the dress). She also added additional lace to the bust section to make the dress what I had in my mind when shopping but never found. She also had suggestions of her own that really saved the day like trimming internal layers down to length while still leaving the outermost layer as a train. That change really made my wedding day so much more comfortable (and my ability to fluff the train out for photos so much easier) while still letting me feel so beautiful all day. Overall I love how it turned out - and she did it all so quickly and at a reasonable price.
