I took my dog in to be washed, de-shed, nails clipped and so on...We both were nervous. New ordeal for us. It took a while for her to dry because Jenny didn't like the dryer. I'm not surprised! When I came to pick her she was excited to see me but I could also tell she like the lady that groomed her. She was abused as a puppy and is a sensitive dog. i have been a customer for 2 years. At first they were very good. The last 2 times, I have not been happy . They went up on the price for my 2 , under 20 pound Maltese mix and a Shih tzu. On April 29th 2022, I had a 2 pm appointment for both dogs. When I get there I was told that I was supposed to be there at 12 noon . I said, I received a text from you and I'm sure it was 2 pm. she said i will have to talk to the manager since your late. When she returns , I open my phone and show the lady the last text I received from them . Then she said that she tried to call me . I looked at my recent call log, no phone call ,from here on my list . Then Iget a text message I start to look at it , and the lady says you don't need to look at that , It was just me . then she took my dogs . When I got in the car and looked at the text It was from Angelic Groomers , saying that my appointment was moved to 12 noon . About 20 minuets later i get a call saying, the c b d I gave my dogs was not enough. I said please don't make them sick. They close at 6, Not hearing from them and now its 7pm, I drive down to the place. Then I was told that they were short handed. and my dogs was not groomed yet. It will be another 45 mins They come out around 8:30 and said my Maltese was matted on his ears .I didn't think they were bad. But they would cut the matts out His ears are SHAVED I get my dogs back at 9:45 . And they charged me 75.00 for my Shih Tzu he weighs18 pounds and 55 for my Maltese mix he weighs' 15 pounds .Mybe they should read their web page . my dogs were the last ones they groomed . They said they were shorthanded . Didn't I deserve a phone call ? I wont be back . The last 2 times i used them I left messages (plural) and they didn't return my calls for days . Horrible experience. No tact with animals at all. Have come in numerous times for a nail trim (which they have quickly done at the front desk) but never a bath/groom. Well I was so appalled that I took my dog out of this place before they could groom him. Came in for a bath and brushing was up sold on another $20 upcharge to de-shed. Totally fine with that. Then watch them with zero tact attempt to drag my scared 9 month old dog to the back as he was totally flipping out and my daughter was in tears watching. Was told I would have to leave hime for 4-5 hours (this was a 3:00pm appt) and in the back i could hear owner was "assessing" my dog. I could hear and see her screeching from the back that he would "tear them up when bathing him and needed the full package with nail trim" oh and also he needs a $50 de-shed, not $20. Asking what was going on, I was advised by the tech that the $30 bath would now be $100 for the full package and de-shed. Pretty hilarious he needs a nail trim when I brought him to this very place 7 days ago and had his nails trimmed. Over $100 to have a short coat lab bathed and brushed is absolutely ridiculous. Greedy and unprofessional. I do not recommend this place. read more

I usually wash our dogs at home but this place is a great place to wash your own dog yourself, or you can have them do it for you. They also provide other services too. I took our son's two dogs in to have their nails trimmed and the tech did a fantastic job even though they were pretty difficult to deal with. She was done in about 10 minutes with both of them. My mom took her 64-pound border collie in for a wash and groom. He looks (and smells) fantastic! The best part? He was happy and relaxed when she picked him up. This high-energy dog gets anxious when he has to stand still. And, poor old guy, his joints can be very painful at times. 2nd experience was a nightmare. Puppy was dragged in the gate and foot was used by staff member to get him in the gate. He was pulled in by prong collar he had on though we mentioned it's a prong collar. It really bothered us so we drove back in 10 minutes to get him instead of leaving him there to get washing services. We got him back in 10 minutes and his prong collar was put on wrong at the very base of his neck choking him and he was crying as we struggle to remove it. Not sure what happened since we used them last month and they did a good job. Never again will we use this place on our puppy. read more

I had my ShihTzu groomed at Angelic Pet Services today and they did an Outstanding job. The cut is so perfect and smooth. His nails are short and no sharp edges. I took my puppy in to get a bath and trim his nails. A couple hours later I got a call saying "he is biting us can we give him CBD" I didn't know what else to say so I said yes. But I came up there and what I saw broke my heart. He had a soft cast around his neck with a women holding his head down, the women also had gloves that go up to their shoulders. He is a puppy his bites don't hurt. But when I got to standing there watching he wasn't biting anyone he was the air blowing out of the dryer. I also had asked if they had already brushed his teeth and she walked to the lady working on him and she had said "I tried" and the front lady came to me and said "yes they did". I have paid for a brushing but I'm not getting the entire service. This place does not have very great customers service read more

This is the second time I've taken my dog here to be groomed, and once again it took almost five hours for our small to medium sized dog. They do a nice job but seem to over book and then say they are short handed. Of course they did say I could get faster service if I pay more. No thank you. Will be finding a new groomer. read more

My son received a flyer for this groomer, took my dog Bankston the very next day. I had attempted to cut his hair myself, worst mistake ever!! I went here one time and it was good so I came back the second time a came a second to my dogs had a botched hair cut was scared and shaky and was off for a few days her eyes were bleeding etc I called right away and took pictures I get her a poop shoot meaning cut short around butt so it doesn't stick to white fur and they didn't even do that and her hair cut was not how I wanted. The owner reached out to me and said that this was very unusual and to bring her back and it wouldn't happen again just give them another chance...... but didn't offer a refund nor to rectify the situation. I see in a lot of comment she comes back at people aggressively defending herself saying she tries to rectify but if I bring my dog to you with bloody eye pictures and bald spots you should offer to bring her in a at least even it up or offer e refund if I have to ask I feel like that's too far and you did not care about me as a customer especially it being my first complaint. I ended up bringing her back for a hair cut to give them another chance because I feel like sometimes mistakes happen but I should have listened to my gut bc when I left I noticed it was blotchy again and her eyes still had a ton of crust so I decided to call and ask nicely if I could bring her back just to wipe down her eyes and even up the cut. At first the owner was welcoming I said he I'm not even 59 yards away and noticed this can you guys fix it she said yes bring her back, I guess she pulled up the pictures of her cut before or something because I had people in my car and her on speaker and all of a sudden it was a 180 she was like you know what don't come back I have the right to refuse service and nothing is ever good enough for you that yellow crust is from her pores and can't be gotten off I can't go any shorter or it'll bleed I stepped in and said no ma'am your not listening I don't want it shorter I want a $75 groom to be a good groom and her not to have crust on her eyes or blotches I know where the crust comes from I'm paying you to remove it...... that's all don't go shorter just get the crust off and even up her hair the last time your right I called right away bc if I was an owner I would want to know about a bleeding dog and try to reciting the situation clearly she's not that owner she only cares about money.... I asked for a refund she hung up I drove there bc I was still right there and waited for her to come get her to at least fix it instead I waited for them to help every customer so that when they told me no refund and we aren't fixing it Other people wouldn't see how disrespectful and unprofessional she was so they got everybody out of there and them refused both and told me to take her to court......pictures speak louder than words though so here you go guys! Do not bring your pups here bc you'll have heck getting the service you pay for and money is more important to them then customer service. read more

My dog is a very thick and fluffy Australian Shepherd mix dog that I personally hate bathing/grooming because his hair gets everywhere and it takes so long to get through all of it and he doesn't like the blow dryer so he doesn't let me dry him all the way. This place took that in stride and did an amazing job. Not once did they tell me he had too much fur or they couldn't dry him completely (which I wouldn't have blamed them). He smelt so good and felt super soft afterwards. We also were dogsitting an elderly shitzu yorkie mix that needed a bath real bad. I went in to use the self dog wash (because he isn't our dog and I didn't know his temperament when it comes to baths) but Suzanne assured me that they would love to help me and it is no problem. Immediately when they took him back he had a huge problem being in a cage while they were working on other dogs so instead of just giving him back for me to bath him they put him at the front of the line because they did not want to stress out a small elderly dog (he is over 10 years old). I really appreciate the effort and care they put into their work. It speaks volumes. read more

This was by far the worst service I have EVER received! They injured my dog to the point where she was bleeding and butched her hair cut. Then when I brought it to the OWNERS attention in a respectful way she began to get irate stating I can take her to small claims court. All I wanted was them to either fix it or refund me. This occurred on 04/8/22. Giving the date in case you had a elderly dog in on that date. My appointment was for 2:00 for 2 dogs. Around 5:30 I called because I had not heard from them and knew they were close to closing. They stated they were not done. I called back about an hour later and they stated they would be ready in about 45 minutes so I drove up there. When I got there it was myself and one other lady at first. Right after that another lady walked in. Why one lady was paying they brought one of my dogs out and put him in the tub. They said he had been bathed but to dry him and groom him. I told them to just give him to me. I would pay for the services done(bathing) and be done. They told me they needed to get the owner. The owner came out telling myself and other ladies we needed to have patience as they had elderly dogs all day and one almost died. She was cussing dropping F bombs and said I would be paying for what was done. I already had my debit card out. I asked for my other dog which they had in the back. They came out and told me the total which included teeth cleaning. I told them I specifically said not to clean the teeth. I also told them I would not pay until I saw my dog. They said another lady got mad and walked out without paying so that's why they didn't want to bring my dog out. They did end up bringing my dog out. I paid. The lady checking me out did not state they had elderly dogs all day but did say I had 20 dogs in front of my 2:00 appointment and good luck finding a groomer as good as them. Very sarcastically she told me in the future to get names of who I talk to because they weren't ready in 45 minutes. Ironically, due to my aging Westie I had already found a mobile groomer while they were there yesterday. read more

If something is to go awry, my family is Murphy's law. We have had issues with grooming services almost the entire 12 1/2 years of our Miniature Schnauzer's life. We have tried big box to our vet's in house groomer to mom and pop businesses. Often, we would leave frustrated and sometimes with a mistreated pet. Not this place! It is amazing! The owner took detailed notes and listened to me. She understood what I was asking for and delivered. She discussed the challenges of grooming an aged pet and what she would do to make our "Coco" as comfortable as possible. She was groomed in an hour and 40 minutes, unlike almost all other groomers where 20-30 dogs are dropped off in an hour timespan and then have to wait 5-8 hours before they are ready to go home. This owner respects her customers' time and realizes that pets don't need to be stressed longer than needed. When we picked her up, Coco looked better than she ever had before and the owner told us about the experience. We appreciate everyone who cared for our old girl. I would highly recommend Angelic Pet Services to anyone, especially to those who have elderly pets. I look forward to our next visit. 2/15/20--Had an appt for 12. They were overbooked that day for some reason and I was told that my Schnauzer who is 13 yo would be there 5 hours, this is after the first 2 visits being around 1 1/2 hrs. I didn't feel comfortable with that as they had set a different standard already and I could go to my old groomer who is further away if I wanted my dog going through the grooming process for 5-8 hours. I was so comfortable with the owner the 1st time and the young girl who took her back the second time, but this was making me feel weird. So, the young dark-headed girl at the front made me an appt for 8am on Monday, 2/17/20. 2/17/20--Arrive at 7:50am for 8am appt. light was off, so sat in my car. Woman pulls up a few min later and gets out of her car and tries the door and it was open. So, she becomes 1st customer. After that dog is taken back, I said "well, here"s Coco from Saturday" and we talk about the cut. Mind you, it's the same girl who was in the front on Saturday and remembered the situation. So, today, she says, in order to get my elderly dog out at a reasonable time, I should pay extra for the express visit. I said "she is the 2nd dog here, why would I pay for an express?" Then, she said "I know what I told you on Saturday about Mondays being a slow day, but there are 7 dogs scheduled at 8 and our policy is no more than 3. Again, why is this my problem when I was the 2nd (1st) customer. Then she said "would you be ok with her getting done at 12? I said "no, because that doesn't fit with the standard that was set with my previous 2 visits." She then informed me that even though I was the 2nd customer, if someone came in after they had started her and paid for the 'almighty' express, then my dog would be put to the side. I informed her that I would not be coming back. I live 7 minutes away. By the time I got home, I was so worked up that I started crying in my car. If you've ever had an elderly pet who still needs basic grooming that you are not equipped to do or a good idea at thisyou want to feel comfortable leaving your dog and I felt completely defeated. So, as I was increasingly getting emotional, I called my vet who has a groomer that we had been to and told them the story. They were compassionate and understood the emotion. I shocked myself at how much emotional stress I allowed Angelic Pet services to inflict. I will not go back even though I had 2 good experiences prior. I felt I got different treatment and information this time with added costs which I would have paid had things been handled differently. My original review was 5 stars. read more

We have came here 2 other times and had a good experience, and then the 3rd time we brought our 5 month old puppy and first off, he had never gotten a full haircut, just a trim and he had never had his teeth brushed. The groomer said when we picked him up, "your dog snipped at me and on purpose being aggressive, and you need to get him fixed!" The way she said it was not nice at all, and he is a young puppy who again has never had his hair cut only a trim around his face and back. For her to say he needed to be fixed was wrong because I called our vet that day, and they said they do not recommend a puppy his age to get neutered any time before he is at least 7 months to a year old. He has never been aggressive towards our young daughter, or to anyone at his vet or puppy daycare place! It was very rude, and we will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone else! We have four dogs 80 lbs and up. This was our first time using any self serve dog wash and it couldn't have been better! They were very friendly and offered help without even being asked. Our first visit to Angelic Pet Services and was very pleased with the entire process. T.C., our 13 year old cat, needed lots of help..matted fur, etc., and issues with traveling to the groomer! Suzanne was very compassionate, and evaluated what would be best for our furbaby. He seemed quite calm when I picked him up, and he was beautiful! He even enjoyed the ride home! First time grooming our dog , Mikey today with Suzanne. He looks great but best of all was her willingness to work with our schedule. Mikey hates cages and Suzanne groomed him quickly and called so I could pick him up. This was just what we needed, and something we had not been able to find with groomers who want drop off 7-10 am and pickup around 5pm.
