The service was outstanding and they had a huge variety of treats! We picked up a few macarons and a pistachio croissant and both were maybe the best I've ever had! The shop and super cute and had seating inside and a couple of cute little bistro tables outside!

I decided to meet a friend here for coffee & pastry. For a Friday afternoon, it was not too busy. While waiting for my friend, the cashiers were very helpful & friendly. Recommend that I take a table then I was able to order a latte and a quinoa salad as I wait for my friend. The place was modern, French & classic. The cafe definitely was on the higher end of NYC price but the quinoa salad was delicious, the latte was smooth. My friend and I enjoyed our time and the staff let us stay as long as we needed.

This was one of my favorite hot chocolates I've had. If you like your hot chocolate thick, then I would definitely recommend trying this one. The serving looks small but the thickness made me quite full. I also had some of their croissants and those were great as well; they warmed them up and they were so flakey and buttery! The staff were polite and gave some good recommendations since it was my first time here. The interior was also very pretty, I loved the design of the place. I bought some of the dark chocolate wafer tin as a souvenir gift and my family loved it. I would definitely come back here again, especially in the winter.

The hot coco was rich and delicious with top notch service on a snowy, NYC is nearly shut down, type of day. Ambiance transports you to a Parisian city and makes you feel like you've traveled to another country by simply walking out your door.. only thing against this place is it is pricey but it's a little vacation from mundanity of every day life

I have been here so many times, and always feel giddy upon entering! I love that their uptown cafe is small, and cosy. The hot chocolate is my favorite in the city with a dollop of cream. The pastries are delectable and the salads are generous and satisfying. The service always friendly and helpful.

Went in for the classic Parisian hot chocolate. As I just came back from Paris last month, I have to compare. The front clerk greeted me with "Bonjour" loved that authenticity! The decor is beautiful and definitely bring you back to Paris. The chocolate is rich with flavor but the whipped cream is lack of cream flavor. I think it's because European has better flavor in their milk, cream, and butter etc. The pastry is a bit lacking compared to Paris. As I compared the photos, Paris pastry is bigger, more appealing, and cheaper. But then again, NY location will give you a taste of Paris without travel to Paris. The interior decor itself is worth the visit! I also included a pantry picture from the Paris location.

My friends and I were looking for a nice spot for a coffee / tea break in UES and I was delighted to find a new Angelina Paris had opened up! It was quite small with only a couple of tables inside and outside, but we were fortunately able to find a table. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was so pleasant. I ordered the Mont Blanc ($12+) which I used to love, but it felt too sweet for me this time. I loved the chestnut cream on the outside, but the chantilly cream filling was too much for me. They still have many other beautiful desserts, so I hope to try a different one next time. The only downside to this location is that they don't have a restroom. So if you're looking to wash your hands, this would not be the best option.

Sorry for being late for posting review for this Gem One of my fav spots in Manhattan. It's so very beautiful & overly crowded all the time. One of those days I wanna go there very early in the morning just to seat down & have my breakfast in peace! I doubt it will be quit or empty lol! The service is great, even the manager was wonderful. He personally came & asked me how was the service & recommended what to try. They even asked me if I want to take some pictures. And obviously I loved that. This time only tried the cappachino , and snacks. Because I just had lunch & was in mood for some sweet! Still everything was yumFor me the price was little high but then again it's Manhattan so I totally understand. Place was very clean & loved the Paris vibe Bringing back memories from my Paris trip. Restroom was clean too. Thank you for the hospitality, I will be coming soon .

Angelina Paris a historic bakery and cafe, serving high quality French pastries, light fare, and iconic beverages since 1903. I am not sure when they expanded into the US, but this beautiful location on NYC's Upper East Side effectively transports you to Paris. Believe the hype regarding the hot chocolate. I came here specifically to try it, and my (already sky high) expectations were exceeded. Made with three varieties of African cocoa, the drink is thick, almost pudding-like, and full bodied in flavor with the perfect level of sweetness. A cloud of fresh whipped cream is the perfect finish. The staff were genuinely kind, and the cafe had a wonderfully aesthetic yet cozy vibe. I regret not purchasing anything from their pastry case, as they looked beautiful. Next time!

I have been to a lot of overseas locations of Angelina Paris and recently found out that it opened another one in my neighborhood. I have to say their Mont Blanc is my go-to. I personally don't like the Mango flavor (the green one), so I always ordered the original Mont Blanc. It has that rich chestnut flavor, not too sweet, which is to my liking. Love their coffee as well. Their staff all speak French, they are very friendly and social, always love to chit chat with them. The place is not very spacious (4 tables inside and one more outside), but very nicely decorated and the vibe is very cozy. I love coming here on a weekend afternoon and enjoy the Mont Blanc and coffee here. A lovely addition to the UES neighborhood.

A cute Angelina Paris here at the heart of the Upper East Side. The macaron was pretty good, melts in your mouth! I got this Italian sandwich and it was pretty good, note there is raisins in the bread which I wasn't expecting. The coffee itself wasn't strong but it was refreshing on this hot day. The place is so adorable though & the service was wonderful. Just a heads up there is no bathroom. Other than that, this is a quaint cafe with multiple sweets to choose from.

They don't have a kitchen in this location and the pictures on Yelp is misleading, even on their website didn't mention this.

Most Asian…read morerestaurants in this neighborhood are fancy sit-downs, so it was exciting to see a quick, casual stop for Asian "finger food" (for a lack of better word) within my vicinity. Joju specializes in modern Vietnamese cuisine, serving meals like bahn mi, loaded fries, and rice meals. The menu recently added soy garlic wings, and since I am a fiend for Asian-style fried chicken, I of course had to have it. While all of the beverages looked tempting, especially their non-alcoholic soju refreshers, I needed caffeine to offset the afternoon slump that was about to follow, so I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The wings were huge! It was notably crunchy, saucy, and juicy. There was a decent skin to meat ratio, (I so hate biting into a mouthful of breading), and the meal came out piping hot. It was clear the chicken had been fried per order. Those who know me know that I can't live without rice and would eat it with almost any meal, including fried chicken, so I did request it on the side, although the wings don't come with it. The man who took my order did me a solid and served it with mine, anyway. Good lad! I've been wanting to try Vietnamese coffee for a while now, and it was everything I imagined it would be. Sweet with a bitter backend - but not too bitter! I'm still new to coffee, and I pucker up at anything too intense. This was just right. My meal at Joju satisfied me, mind, body, and soul. I hope it is here to stay, and I hope that a shop like this is a catalyst for other quick Asian food stops to follow. Korean and Filipino restaurants - I'll be waiting!

There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space.
