Angeline is incredible!! This is a review from an experience we had in March 2026. We've been meaning to come here for so long and it did not disappoint! It is beautiful inside there and a romantic spot for a nicer/expensive date night. For a starter we got the arancini - 10/10 recommend. I got the salmon for my entree which had great flavor and lentils were a nice side. My fiancé got the filet mignon which he enjoyed along with the side of gnocchi. We got fingerling potatoes as well which were a great addition. We had leftovers, and having this food as leftovers the next day was also delicious. Our waiter was so attentive and waters were constantly filled. They also had a fancy purse hanger that they gave me which was such a cute thing I had never seen before. We will definitely be coming back for a nice occasion in the future!

Excellent experience! The ambiance & service is upscale without feeling snooty. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. The dining room we were in was cozy & romantic. Food was delicious!! I don't have a single complaint- we had the fig & prosciutto focaccia, wagyu & lobster tail, filet & fried gnocchi and sticky toffee pudding. Yum! Also, we watched them serve the branzino to the table next to us- interesting to watch & smelled amazing.

We were Both busy during Valentine's Day weekend so we decided to come to Angeline's the following weekend and believe me they did not disappoint. Our server was great making sure we were accommodated appropriately. And the food was amazing I had the Filet Mignon Prosciutto wrapped Steak and the flavors were outstanding. The Ambience was small intimate setting making it very enjoyable and easy to get talk over cocktails and food.

Thought this was good but not my favorite! The lasagna sheet appetizer was interesting, a little crisped.

Food was good but very expensive. Service was ok but our waiter was not very attentive. He was busy chatting with a table he seemed to know and rarely checked on us. Thin lasagna special was delicious as was the Caesar salad. Beautiful outdoor seating on the porch.

Angeline is one of my favorite fine dining restaurants in Buffalo! Reservations HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! From the minute you walk in, you're greeted promptly and seated. Really pretty purse hangers are brought over to your table to hang your bag on. The cocktails are top notch and executed perfectly! My favorite is The Rose Room which has Vesper Martini vibes! We started with the Gulf Shrimp appetizer that was a special feature of the evening. It was incredible! I LOVE Gulf shrimp and I was sooo happy to see that was an option. I ordered the filet mignon and it was done just perfect; medium rare is how I like my filet. The prosciutto that it was wrapped in gave it a nice flair and it was topped with a red wine demi-glace and gorgonzola. The fried truffle gnocchi was melt in your mouth and the perfect accompaniment to the filet. The evening was wonderful and everything was top notch & excellent! Street parking is pretty easy to find nearby. If you haven't been to Angeline yet; I highly recommend it as soon as possible whether it be for a fabulous dinner outing or a special occasion!

New Yrs Dinner at Angeline - top notch experience

Perfect choice for a special occasion dinner. Dan and I celebrate New Year's Eve here and Angeline exceeded our expectations! The waitress Ariel was friendly and helpful explaining the menu & specials. We shared the prosciutto wrapped filet and the special: homemade pasta with caviar & chive on a light cream sauce. For a side we shared cauliflower au gratin. The drinks were a nice touch also - a Mezcal and limoncello cocktail. The food was exceptionally good. The filet melted in your mouth and the homemade pasta with caviar was the star! For dessert we shared rye spumoni ice cream that's so made in house. The ambiance was also stunning. Between the top notch service, food, and ambiance we can't wait to return to Angeline! Make a reservation through their website! Cheers to 2025!

Fantastic experience, I recommend the filet mignon ! A fantastic burrata dish aswell. We will be back!

Everything was absolutely incredible. The female hostess who greeted us was so very sweet and every member of staff was professional and lovely. The ambience is chic and quiet and dresses for women and jackets for me are encouraged, which we don't see enough in Buffalo, so it was a refreshing change. The fig and prosciutto starter is what dreams are made of. A must try. The lamb fell off the bone and the apple dessert was heavenly. This was our first time dining at Angeline's and absolutely will not be our last. An incredible experience over all.

We were in town attending a large national conference for families affected by their condition, and many conference attendees were also staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be about 80% empty. Our children mentioned to the waitress that they were hungry and tired, and the first response we received was, "Do you have a reservation?" She explained that they couldn't seat us because they were expecting a large party. Instead of being seated at a regular table, we were directed to the bar area, where the bartender kindly took care of us despite the fact that our group included two minors. We stayed for over an hour, and during that time, the large party never arrived. Meanwhile, we watched other guests without reservations get seated at tables without any apparent issue. The experience left us feeling singled out and, ultimately, discriminated against. Whether that was the intention or not, it reflected a disappointing lack of empathy and inclusion--especially considering that so many families with children with disabilities were staying at the hotel for the conference. I'm giving Bella Ciao three stars because the food was decent, the portions were generous, and the bartender provided good service. Unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). But you can order bottles of soda, alcohol, etc. Also in the back right corner are small pizza boxes for leftovers you can grab if needed. While we had a 5pm reservation, in hindsight it probably wasn't necessary as we were seated right away and quickly greeted by our server, Allie G. To start, I ordered the Apple Cider Mule (mocktail) which was festive and delicious while my brother went for the Logan Mule (so Buffalo). Naturally, we wanted bread (what I thought was a given in an Italian restaurant). Sadly, it was $3 for warm bread, which felt a little rude, but of course I ordered it and devoured it, too! I also started with the mushroom bisque that was on special and it was fantastic as it was rich, flavorful, and the kind of soup you want to eat slowly so it lasts longer. For my entree I chose the Crespelle while my brother got his favorite, the Brasciole. The food was truly the highlight of the evening. Everything was prepared well and very, very satisfying. I would say that the service, unfortunately, left a bit to be desired. Not terrible, but not great. I hate having to ask another server to bring a box, the check, etc. because our server was no where to be found. There is free parking somewhere, though we only noticed the sign for it after we had already paid to park. That said, the atmosphere at Tappo is always lovely and the portions were generous for the price. Of course, I'd absolutely return - especially to try one of their fun igloos someday!

The restaurant has a very generic modern bar scene vibe with roll up doors and the bar dominating the space. The staff were friendly and promptly directed me to the bar for my take out order, which was mildly delayed. The spaghetti and meatballs were basic. The sauce left much to be desired and a basic jarred sauce is more enjoyable. The shrimp were properly cooked, but the risotto did not shine. The dish lack cohesion and it was as though they cooked rice and tossed it in a flavorless sauce. The accompanying lobster sauce was desperately needed, but underdeveloped. The dish needed significant seasoning improvements.
