Food was subpar! Service was awful ! There was at table of 10 and they said we can only accommodate a bill for every 3 people not coupes or singles !!! Who ever heard of this !! Got her at 4:30 on a Saturday evening, got one of the last tables available. Our server was very pleasant and quick. I had a glass of Chianti and my friend opted for beer. We started with the antipasto, it came with rolls that were warmed and butter. The antipasto had crisp lettuce and loaded with all the good accompaniments. We got the Italian dressing and I assume it was homemade and it was real good. My entree was the spaghetti and meatballs and my friend had ziti and sausage. The portions were large (another meal for tomorrow) . I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and taste of the meatballs. It has been quite a few years since my last visit here. The place is one large room with tables. We sat in front by the windows, the wait line was long and people were starting to wait a little too close to our table, I didn't appreciate that. read more

Another great lunch at La bella. It was very crowded when we first arrived & I wondered what the wait would be like. No problems. We were seated promptly & our server came right over. We placed our order & our food was delivered quickly. I ordered the chicken parm. It was SO good. A nice large piece of juicy chicken smothered in a thick coating of cheese. Came here for Mother's Day and had a great experience. It was my first time here, and I was impressed by the large portion sizes of delicious food at an affordable price. Good Italian. Didn't like that the Chicken Parm didnt automatically come with pasta and the size of it was smaller than I'm used to, but it was very good. Some reviews said that this place is better than Chefs downtown but I disagree. If take Chefs over Labella 's but it's still good. Stuffed shells were extra cheesy and enough to feed two people. Service was good. Ambiance is homey. Loads of regulars. Several parties and full families enjoying a meal together. Decent pricing. Definitely worth a try. read more

It's been a couple years since I got anything from here my friend would get me liguini and clam sauce and a canolli every time she went to eat but sadly she passed away so I have to come for my own delicious food! This time I was craving spaghetti and meat sauce plenty of meat sauce was so good. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs she eat one meatball and put a dent in that pasta! Meaning she really enjoyed it was so flavorful we got a slice of cheese cake and a canolli to go ! The canolli is the best in town just love them so creamy not gritty like I had and other Italian restaurants not naming which ones I just know La Bella has the best! Worst kept secret in Cheektowaga. You can't come to labella and not expect a wait, but there's a reason why. We checked in, waited briefly to be seated and a few minutes later our waiter had the drink and food orders on their way back to the kitchen. I always get that small family restaurant feel when we come here, the chairs may not be the comfiest but that's ok. The food definitely does. We got started with the antipasto, a good sized bowl of cheese, meat and all good salad stuff. Unfortunately I didn't grab a pic. But that's ok. More reason to come back. The misses got the baked ziti, always a favorite, a Nice healthy portion of pasta , sauce and cheese. The little yelper (we're gonna use her photos this Time) got some ziti and sauce on the side. It got the thumbs up so we can assume it was a good meal(dipped the noodles). Now this is unusual, I love wings. The wings here are a good size, crispy and meaty, best part, the single is 12. Now I love saucy wings, these are lightly sauced, and medium is the classic butter and franks. Sauce is a bit sparse on the wing but plenty is on the plate. I came in for lunch with a group of 7 people. We had great service overall and everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I ordered the pizza lunch special that came with a slice of pizza and a side salad for only $5.50. The salad was fresh and I liked all of the toppings. The pizza slice was huge. Went to the restaurant for a family birthday party. I ordered the cheese calzone and my husband ordered chicken fingers with fries. Everything was just okay. The fries were decent and the fingers tasted similar to a standard pizzeria order. The calzone had very little flavor. Very low key casual restaurant that is always consistently slammed with people in the evening. I've been a fan over 20 years now. Their " red sauce" is even enjoyed by my very picky Italian family. I haven't been there in a long time and it still is as good as I remember, one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I am Italian and cook Italian and make a really good sauce that everybody seems to enjoy. I have to say their sauce is excellent. Anything you order with the red sauce is delicious as well as all of their other menu items especially their antipasto is excellent. The service was great. It seems to be bigger than a remember it I noticed they expanded. I remember it used to be very noisy because it was so crowded but now it is more spacious than I recall. Love it there. read more

Drove an hour to get the tripe dinner. The first time I went there I thought it was a humbug and they having a bad day. This is the second time now the trip isn't cleaned. It's all full of fat and there's hardly any in your meal. I would not suggest this place. This was a one and done for me. The service was good, our waitress was attentive and friendly. However, the food was not what I would consider house made. I had the veal parm, which although was a good size portion, was two frozen breaded veal cutlets, covered in canned sauce and a lot of cheese. Been going here for many years but never before reviewed it. Always reliable, good food at fair prices. They are one of the few area restaurants that serve veal margarita which consists of layered breaded veal cutlets, ham and breaded eggplant cutlets, smothered in melted mozzarella cheese, and served in a white wine sauce. Marco's used to serve it, but it's no longer on the menu although he once made it for me upon request, Amici makes it, and Italian Village makes it. They are good at all three places, but La Bella's portion and price probably makes it the best. Like that they let you get your pasta side dish parmed for a small upcharge. My wife's white pizza was very good as well, as was the small antipasto, which can serve four or more probably. My only complaints are that they use sub rolls for bread instead of crusty bread that would be preferable. And they don't have to go cups for my leftover soda pop. Not a complaint, but since they have sausage and peppers, I wish they had veal and peppers, and since they have other shrimp dishes, I wish they had shrimp Parm. I'm sure they would make both of those excellent as well. read more

All I have to say is you better come hungry!!! Today we are going to talk about the lunch special. The best value food I have ever seen. La Bella Sicilia has a select lunch menu with nearly dinner portions but at a lunch price. They offer a few lunch special items but the one I picked was the chicken parm which came with 2 huge pieces of chicken over a mountain of spaghetti and finished with loads of broiled cheese. I had leftovers for days. You also get toasted sub rolls as your bread and I loved this. When you want carbs this is it. You will certainly get them here. During lunch it wasn't very busy and the service was crazy fast. I love this little Italian casual restaurant and I would come back again for lunch or dinner. read more

The best blend of flavors for the eggplant, the sauce, everything. It was oven baked and the cheese on top was melted, chewy and delicious. The eggplant itself was cooked to perfection. First off, Interior seriously needs some pictures / decor lol! Bread was just a warmed up sub roll. Salad was pretty plain. I didn't love the veal personally, however, it's the only time I've ever had veal so I don't know if it's just my taste. I didn't like the meat in the lasagna (I ordered the combo with veal, lasagna, and shells). Sauce was excellent (it's on the sweet side if that's what you like). Everything was nice and cheesy. Omg. So, me and my friends were looking for a new Italian place to try because we have a few favorites that we frequent. Step Out Buffalo had rated this as a popular place for pasta so we figured with indoor dining open we'd try something new and BOY are we glad we did. If you're looking for something fancy - this is not it. When you walk in it has a very casual diner vibe - not what I'd expect from an Italian place but I'm not there for the decor. I'm there for the food. The alcohol menu was pretty sad (bud & blue on tap & other domestic bottles available) but they did have cheap half carafes of wine ($12) so no complaints here. The alcohol is not listed on the menu so you have to ask. We got stuffed peppers and garlic bread to start and both were delicious! Would definitely get both again but the peppers were a huge hit. We got 2 combos with shells, lasagna, and spaghetti. One with veal (I had never had it before so I gave it a try and it was pretty good) and the other with chicken that was also tasty. Our friends got the lasagna and the veal parm and both loved their meals as well. The combo is definitely the way to go though because for $17 you can get 3-4 meals out of what you order. I got 3 extra lunches out of my leftovers! Everything was smothered in cheese so if you don't like that, this isn't the place for you. Luckily, we LOVE cheese so it was perfect for us. Overall, the prices are very low for giant portions. It wasn't very busy and service was nothing to write home about but we had very few complaints. This is nothing fancy but great home cooked food.
