Still just as good as the last time I stopped in back 3 years ago. Still has the old time feel and a nice hot dish came out of spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were nice and soft and tender.

An absolute iconic spot in Atlantic City not to be missed. The perfect bar pie, 10.0. Anyone leaving negative reviews isn't from the area. Tony's is undefeated for 99 years.

The wife and I ordered the Clams Casino Pizza and Chicken Parm Sandwich. We ordered via DoorDash and had no problems with the delivery. The food came piping hot and smelt delicious. The pizza had a white pizza base with bits of clam and strong garlic smells. It was great. Elite crappy pizza. I mean this in the nicest way possible. If you know you know. I'd give this place 3 stars if it wasn't for my abysmal Chicken Parm Sandwich. The Chicken Parm Sandwich was a joke. It was a flour dusted chicken breast with a slice melted cheese on 2 pieces of soggy white bread. No red sauce, not toasted. I expected a roll for a chicken parm sandwich, not a huge issue but no sauce is unacceptable. I hate complaining but that sandwich was sad.

I believe this is almost 100 years old. Perfect NJ old school "dive bar" with great pizza. Highly recommend the Nino or the Judge if you like cherry peppers. Spicy and tasty! Yum! Service was a little slow . . . But worth the wait. Just do not arrive starving or in a rush. Loved the vibe. Doesn't get more Jersey than this

I love everything about this place and I can't wait to go back! They are open late. Their food is good. Their service is great. Their prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is divey and relaxed. Pro tip: sit down and order a meal and order your pizza at the same time. When you are done eating, your pizza will be ready. I regret not getting the pizza because of what I've heard about it and I will definitely be going back for this. Actually, I want to try the entire menu! Take into consideration the history of this place and realize there's a reason they've been in business for so long. I can't believe I passed this place so many times and never went in until recently. I have been missing out! Don't do what I did - go there now and often!

This is a great spot in Atlantic City for very good Italian food and fun atmosphere of a local bar and grill. Plenty of televisions to watch sports, cold beer, a solid bartender to serve you, enjoyed the pizza, the apps, and the crowd. Go check out Tony's

So it's likely this would be called a dive but I prefer old school. Great bar , happy hour, bartender (shout out to Tony) and by all accounts reasonable, tasty, good value Italian food and pizza. Happy hour 4-6. Love the bar. Check for seats on the right when you enter.

I dont know about this place. It's crowded and full of locals. The service is quick and maybe a little over-friendly. The draft beer is cold and reasonably priced. The food is not expensive. We got a house salad for two. To me, it tasted like an Italian sub without the bread. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs aren't very flavorful and I liken the dish's taste and presentation to a high school band spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Anthony Bourdain liked the place, but you can decide for yourself.

Very comfortable corner bar with a great roast beef sandwich, auju on the side for dipping. Throw in some cole slaw and fries. Tony not only works the bar but serves the booths. Speaking of booths, nice to see the small Jukeboxes around (and with Sinatra, no less). For a first timer, felt very comfortable and will definitely return. Spaghetti and meatballs might be a good idea.

Happy hour everyday from 4 to 6! peep the menu because its a good one (both food + drink specials, im talkin $1 mozz sticks, $2 fried shrimp). main entrance takes you to the wrap around bar with a few booths, but head to the back for the HUGE dining room. jukeboxes at every booth . its dark, its divey, but its clean. on a saturday afternoon we found the music switched frequently from mob movie classic hits to 80s/90s freestyle. its loud, but you can still have good convos. they take cards. food comes out quick, drinks can take a minute because the bar gets PACKED. get the cheese pie. its thin. minimal flop. sauce is seasoned well. eat it while its hot, letting it sit for awhile isnt good. mozz sticks were nothing special. i LOVED the fried shrimp. they are slightly sweet, gentley fried, butterflied and come with a delicious sauce. its a gross between a marinara and horseradish - never had something like this and cant believe i slept too long on it. my friend enjoyed the sauce her meatballs came in, but felt they were kinda dry. coming back within a heart beat. its such a classic spot, right to the point menu, good drinks, and an affordable place compared to other spots in AC, doesnt batter if youre winning or loosing.

It's a chill nice spot to eat in but this is for nostalgic folks who don't know better and get fooled by the memories. Last time here was over a decade ago. It seemed a bit better then but nothing to write home about. Pizza was limp and flavorless. On the fattier side but without flavor. A good pizza the crust alone is worth chewing on. This was utter crud. Domino's is better. Service was fine but food was SLOW on Monday night. I understand this pizza takes longer to cook but it is NOT worth the wait. About 4 tables out of ~21 filled. 6:40PM arrival 6:53 drinks 7:09PM pizza. Check at 6:57 $20 for a small pizza is not worth unless you want to recapture some past feeling. MANY other better old places and new ones in Atlantic City. I won't list them but not coming back here for another 10 years at least. Avoid unless you're a TBG lover.

Nothing pretentious here, just a great old school red sauce/dive bar. Service was slow, food was really good and a much better alternative to the overpriced casino dining establishments!

They sell over five thousand meatballs a week and I can see why! Had to order more!!!! Sauce was great, bartender was a classic italian and this place felt rich with history. Any place that I can eat good food until 3am and drink a 3.50 coors light is good with me. I kept trying to order the roast beef platter but he didn't approve of my choice of sides. I tried to get clam sauce and penne with my roast beef and I was shamed. Who knows. Wanna go back someday to get that roast beef.

The service was amazing and attentive, and despite many patrons, it wasn't too loud. It felt very cozy. Everything is pricey but well worth it. Because we had such a great time, we came for dessert twice. The "dolci assortiti" is a natural choice because who can resist a sampling of cheesecake, tiramisu and flourless chocolate cake with zabaglione and whipped cream. It was a small serving of each, but they were all wonderful, with the cheesecake being denser than a typical NY cheesecake while the tiramisu was so light, and the chocolate is always a satisfying option. They have a few desserts served tableside, so we gave the "pere al vino" which they bring over a wooden tabletop and slice up and assemble the pear, berries, and cream. It's fun to watch and the pears were so sweet paired (pears paired - ha) with the soft, decadent cream. It was a little show and sweet, healthyish fruit. A different occasion, we got a special that wasn't on the menu (against our original plans) which was a gelato (we got cappuccino) with a berry sauce that was prepared tableside. Anything with a flambe is exciting and draws attention from other tables. It made such a tasty fruity puree on top of the gelato for a perfect combination of hot and cold temps melding together. Then we also got the affogato with vanilla gelato, both gelatos being super flavorful and creamy, this one with a nucillo amaro liquer to up the ante on coffee flavor with a little buzz. It was also a large size serving plenty for 2.
