Not sure what's been going on with your BBTs, but the past few times I've gotten them, they're tiny, overcooked, chewy, sad excuses for a boneless buffalo tender. They used to be so good, big, juicy, delicious and perfectly cooked. So I'm not sure if it's your fryer, chef, food distributor, or just poor cost cutting decisions to go with cheaper chicken tenders, but they're not edible anymore and I won't be ordering them again until something changes. We decided to make an effort to frequent local businesses an Julianos is closest to our home. We were hoping to make it our frequent go-to neighborhood spot. The food was outstanding- even a simple burger was above the norm. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite. My husband's plate was cleared before I was finished (felt like ai needed to eat faster), and app plate wisked away with food remaining. Waitress checked when food arrived and while drinks were full if we "were ok", but when my glass was empty nothing. No offer of another drink, coffee or desert. Just the check dropped onto the table. So we paid and left. We felt like they just wanted us to hurry up and leave, so we paid and left. We were there less than an hour. Will think twice before going back. Too bad. Consistent, and a solid value. This is the type of place you walk in and just feel relaxed and at home. It's a locals place but does get the summertime crowds as well particularly after rounds of golf at local courses conclude so something to keep in mind given the number of seats. I go to Giuliano's on Wednesday for a number of reasons first of all the chicken wings are the best in South Jersey. Also, the hamburgers cheesesteaks and also the weekly specials are great. This place is ULTRA LOUD / NOISY (1 star) NOTE: It clearly appears that the owner(?) had acoustic tile placed across the entire ceiling, but then had the entire acoustic tile painted, which in turn filled the holes in the acoustic tile whereby making the acoustic properties totally useless. A waste of money and time. Food: Somewhat average (2-3 star). Larger portions, but bland. I took half the meal home. The next day I melted a lot of butter and big squirt of a lot of lemon on the pasta, heated it up and stirred it....and viola....it became the meal it should have been in the first place. Stopped in here the other day for Mexican night with my little girls. Service was kind of slow no big deal ordered nachos grande I did not look at what they put on it exactly as it's listed separately from the Mexican Monday specials which do not show the ingredients. Anyway jalapeños I can understand but cherry peppers as well is a little over-the-top but what bothers me is that the waitress didn't even warn me and my six-year-old Now she's tough as they come and can handle the jalapeños Siracha etc. but A cherry popper was just too much and she suffered. But that is not why I am giving this place a one star. I'm giving this place one star because they keep a dirty looking bucket in the corner by the server station right next to the front door when you walk in and they serve ice water out of it. Totally disgusting anything can fall in there I asked the waitress about it she shrugged your shoulders and said talk to my boss. When my daughter bit into that cherry pepper I had no choice but to request water from the bucket and this really made me mad Im not going to lie. On top of all that FOXNews is front and center on the TV screens which is completely political in my Opinion . You will not catch me back in this place again for those reasons. Stopped by Julianos for some wings to go and decided to try the Honey Garlic Wings. The wings themselves were a great size and full of chicken. The sauce was a little on the oriental side which wasn't what I was looking for but was still very good and would have been better if the sauce had a kick to it. Julianos is one of those few places you're lucky enough to find by accident or live near by where the food is better than it should be for what the place is. We really came here out of convenience and seems like a local place. We had just finished golf and it was the closest for a beer and a burger. We had several apps which were all decent. Zucchini sticks, dip, wings, chew steak egg rolls. I had a patty melt which was a C-. I wouldn't come back. We should have headed a little further down to Somers, but some of the group had to get back to Philly. Lesson learned. read more
