For what it's worth, it's decent. It's not outstanding, but it's not underwhelming either. Pizza was good, the chicken roll was my favorite, props to Angelo's for getting it done right because some other spots would cook the dough too hard and makes it chewy. As above average the Pizza was, everything was a tad bit over priced, a regular and pepperoni slice, chicken roll and a bottle of soda coming up to $20, that's a bit hefty so that's what's preventing this review from becoming a 5 star. Ordered the Penne Vodka, Beef Patty, and Chicken Calzone. Penne Vodka was a bit burnt.... not sure why. Also felt like for $5 extra, they couldve added more chicken instead of the few pieces we got but other than that, the pasta was cooked right and cheese well spread. Chicken calzone was very thick in dough - which i do expect a calzone to be but I was tasting more of the dough than I was anything else with each bite. Could not order again. The food is so good that I always forget to take a picture! Any of the pizza pies are super cheesy and delicious! I had never had such a good hawaiian slice, it literally made me a fan of it! I've been living in Corona basically my whole life. I can honestly say this is one of the BEST pizzerias we have. Angelo's pizza is so delicious like omg. It's so cheesy and perfect. Their pies are great. The slices are the size of my face! They also have other hot food like mozzarella sticks, wings, and even lasagna (which is heaven). When I eat in, i always get welcomed and the waitress is so nice. Their discount specials are good too. They have combo #s which are great when u wanna save $ & have a lot of people eating in. I ordered the Special. Loaded with toppings, just about everything you could want. Pizza was good, but lacked enough spice. It could have used some garlic, even a little more pepper. This place is not what it used to be. Different owners who clearly don't care about customer service and good quality food. I ordered a pepperoni slice and pointed to it and for small cheese fries. The man behind the cashier points to the small pizza pie box. I said no small cheese fries. So he took my order (or so I thought) and I paid him the total;$8.75. I put the $1 of change in the tip jar and he said "10min". After almost 20min passed I got up and he looked at me clueless, goes to the back and brings out a bag so of course I check it and saw that there was a reg cheese pizza. I said I asked him for a pepperoni slice not reg. He had the nerve to get upset took the reg cheese slice, put it back on the serving pan w/the other slices and took the pepperoni pizza and just shoved it in my bag (cold) and told me it was $1 more and made sure to shove the $1 tip I gave inside the jar. This review is strictly for their food delivery, I never stepped foot in the restaurant. Last Sunday my flight was canceled and I had to scramble for a return flight and a room. About 8:30 I realized I had not eaten since breakfast and got the menu from the front desk. I ordered a chicken calzon, caesar salad, chocolate cake and two bottles of water. The friendly guy on the phone (called me Hon!) promised a 45 minute delivery and they were calling me from the front desk within 50 minutes. Pretty good for a pouring down rainy night with plenty of calls from hotels. I know I was starving but the food tasted great to me! I remember eating Pizza from Angelos the way it's supposed to be. Thin crush, cheesy with great sauce, what more could I ask for? Well after my experience last night neither me nor my family will be ordering from there again. This is what our experience went like: We ordered, 45 minutes later we called to see how far the order was and the lady on the phone said "give it another 10 minutes". We ordered at 9 PM so an hour later when we tried to call back to see what happened with our order they were closed and no one picked up the phone. An hour and 20 minutes after we placed the order the delivery was here. We ordered a large pie and a 20 oz soda. I was handed the pie and a paper to sign, had I not asked for the soda it wouldn't have been brought up. When I did ask the girl she said "oh there's a soda included right? My manager didn't give to me, so I'll go to the corner store and buy it for you". I'm aware that I have a Deli on the corner of my house, if I wanted to go get it from there I would have, but isn't that the point of delivery? To have everything I ask for delivered to my house? Once we finally opened our pizza it was cold, thick and burnt. I can sadly say that it was the worst pizza I've had in my years living in NYC. So I was hungry, dissatisfied and angry at the horrible service we had. This place used to be amazing and I've been eating the pizza since I was 5 (currently 32) but it has taken a tremendous dive off a cliff in the quality and value areas. The price here has sky rocketed over the years. It's currently $2.75 per slice which is insane for the neighborhood, but also for the city as a whole. The price hikes started shortly after they expanded years ago into the store next door and have accelerated over the last 4 years. Do not be surprised you are paying $3 per slice by the end of 2017. I suspect the price hikes are a symptom of lost business to Dominos and Papa Johns which easily beat Angelo's on price, and I'm sad to say, many times on quality. I've noticed in the last 6 months that if I carry out two slices, the box will have the names of many random out of state pizzerias - I've counted 5 so far... They are either running some sort of collect them all promotion or they are barely getting by and are buying up old pizza boxes from failed pizza joints in an effort to save money on supplies. It looks weird and is very off putting. I don't foresee this place being open in two years if they continue to raise prices, cheap out on supplies, and continue with the reduced quality of customer service. read more

Has some TV's to watch the game. They bring your order to the table. Food: I had pizza but my son had lasagna. The pizza is so tasty! The crust was perfect. It wasn't soggy; it kind had a little crunch to it which I love. The cheese whole pie pizza is $12 bucks but is soo worth it. The staff and the owner extremely friendly and after you order you food just sit down some will bring it over to your table this type of service was being all over New York now its a rarity. I know my family members have order pastas they they have commented it was very good. I once order pizza for a get together and everyone Loved it and requested their number. The sauce is fresh and the pizza so cheesy I love it! I remember going as a child and still they have some of the old timers working there. They have pictures of family members whom worked there back in the 60's. Very nice and family place to go. A few years back they opened up a few doors over to a bigger and upgraded place.
