Recently ordered the sweet and spicy pizza after a long day. The chicken was so breaded and fried that it was really tough to chew. The pizza was nearly inedible had to pick it out. Cute pizzeria tucked away on a strip mall that also houses Lidl on the edge of Astoria. I ordered a margherita for pickup on a Friday night that came out to about $29 and a 15 min wait. The space inside looked fairly clean and there were a few patrons sitting down for a slice. There's plenty of parking in the lot as well. It's my last night in New York and I decided to order pizza before I fly home to Cleveland tomorrow. Now being by LaGuardia airport, I had no idea where to get pizza for what the locals like. This is one reason why yelp has been so valuable to me, the higher reviews pointed me in the direction of a story, a Pizza factory based on its close proximity, and what I was able to get delivered by Uber eats. Now, I have to admit I was not a fan of the garlic bread. I think it's because I am a Midwesterner and I am used to the garlic that is squeezed out of a bottle. This restaurant used real garlic and they used a ton of it. The garlic flavor was very strong. Now that you read this far, you're probably wondering why it got a five star review. The pizza was off the chains. This is everything I expect out of a New York style pizza. They could've served dirt for the garlic bread and if I would've tasted this pizza, it would be five star review all day. Nice job guys! read more

After our first visit where we received what we thought was a terrible product, was actually redeemed tonight with a variety of delicious items. After hearing about my bad experience, Fil personally reached out to me to apologize, explain, and correct our initial experience. Because of his kindness, we will not only be regular customers but we were able to eat one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. The little Pizza Place that is tucked in a shopping area in Astoria. One of the many pizza places I have ate from, that makes me coming back for more. The people (factory workers) behind the front counter are always making pizza and smiling when I walk in. One of my favorite items is indeed the Sicilian. Astoria Pizza Factory is a gem in Queens with tons of parking so you won't have to worry about searching for a spot! When I went I wanted to try all of their Sicilian Slices so that's exactly what I did. Everything was so fluffy and I especially loved the pep cups. What I loved even more was that the slices with pep cups come with either regular sauce or vodka sauce. I loveeeee a good slice with vodka sauce so it was gone within minutes. Another one that I liked most was the Upside Down Sicilian because it had a different seasoning on top but I recommend all four honestly. As for Covid, there's no inside seating so you have to take your food to go but they do offer minimal seating outside. I would prefer if the pizzas stayed in the oven a little longer because the bottom was too soft- I like my pizzas a little crispier. Delivery was good, they called to see if we needed utensils and cups before driving over. Overall it took about 45 minutes for pizza to arrive, which is average for dinner time. Since we had a big order I wish the pizzas came with the seasonings like Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and garlic salt. I would say average pizza but the mozzarella sticks sauce is amazing. The mozzarella sticks cheese was not stringy, it was actually hard, but the sauce was the best marinara sauce I've had so far. read more

Came here this weekend with my friend and her baby after a few beers and before playing in the playground across the street. We had kind of a weird experience. We both ordered our slices and some garlic knots. Sat down. When the pizza was ready my friend asked me to watch the baby and she got up for the slices and paid. Among us we got: the buffalo chicken slice, a white cheese slice, and buffalo garlic knots. The buffalo slice was just okay. Fairly spicy which is insane coming from me. It had a kick. The knots were overly salty and honestly not worth it so much. Kind of just regular garlic knots drowned in buffalo sauce. The white slice was SUPER bland. Like no flavor whatsoever. Even the cheese was bland. What the hell. We got up to throw out our tray and clean up and this lady says with attitude "you didn't pay". We were both confused because my friend said she paid for both of our orders and she insisted one of the slices we didn't pay for. So I forked over another $5 not questioning her judgment. However, these slices are insanely expensive. $4.50 for pretty much a plain white cheese slice. I think a specialty slice is about $5. I don't even want to know how much the knots are but they acted like we were trying to scam them which is obnoxious. Also, it was their mistake to begin with. I didn't finish my pizza crusts either which almost never happens and is not the sign of a quality za establishment. read more
