My girls came to Cheddar's and loved the biscuits and chicken tenders so we decided to come as a family this past weekend. Our server, Nick was attentive, pleasant and efficient. We had the honey butter croissants which were absolutely delicious. We all had chicken tenders with fries and my daughter had the steak with corn which she said was perfectly cooked. We also had the baked potato as a side. The kids tender meal with fries is a very good portion size. Overall a good meal for the money. Overall we really like this place. Food is good old fashioned comfort food. This is not haute cuisine. This is an enormous portion of scratch made chicken pot pie, chicken tenders etc. The prices are good, the service is excellent and above all the food is tasty. Waitress was friendly and pointed out the $4.99 classic cocktails which a few of us indulged in. The margarita was a basic margarita, good size for the price. There was a bit of delay on getting our bar drinks although our waitress did bring us all waters quickly. Atmosphere was calm and place was clean. The buttery croissants were a hit with everyone. We forgot to order our appetizer when we ordered our entrees. We ordered it on the little kiosk at the table and it still arrived before our food. We got the triple appetizer which had queso, spinach dip and chicken tenders. Spinach dip was very tasty. I ordered the bourbon salmon and shrimp with broccoli and carrots. Bourbon sauce was overly sweet but still a decent entree. More vegetarian options would be nice but daughter was pleased with her four veggie and salad plate. Oldest son ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp which was supposed to come with a pico salsa but instead they gave him the bourbon sauce which was too sweet for him. Dined here early last evening for the first time. And I mean first time ever at a Cheddar's because this chain does not exist where we live up North (NYC-NJ area). We were pleasantly surprised. A very good bang for your buck. We got a booth in the back, far from entrance. Ambiance quiet back there. Parker was our friendly and attentive server. Also, Manager Lisa came over during our dinner and we talked about this relatively new addition to North Naples and Cheddar's in general. We ordered a bottle of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio for $23. So good to see wine offered at a reasonable price (I checked out menu at new J Alexander's nearby and a bottle of Pinot Grigio was offered at FOUR TIMES what I pay for it in a liquor store or supermarket). We Shrimp Alfredo (12 shrimp) and Blackened 8 oz Salmon and both ordered side salads for quite minimal charge. Everything scrumptious. The only criticism I have is that the service was TOO GOOD/FAST - our entrees arrived when we were just starting to eat our salads. read more

Only going back for that occasionally. Take out! My wife has no desire to go back. Disappointing, had waited for this to open and we like the other Darden chain restaurants. We came to cheddars on a Sunday with a party of 11 adults for my grandfather's 85th birthday. We were seated right away and the restaurant wasn't very busy. Our server asked who was on what checks and we got started with our celebration. Our sever brought us all water but then took a while to take actual drink orders. All drinks from the bar came out and we were then waiting one 2 diet cokes and one drink from the bar as it wasn't rang in correctly. The famous croissants came out quickly and then it all went downhill. Still waiting on the drink that was a mistake we decided to put our food in since drinks took a while. After taking our order for food she went to the bar to get said drink. When she came back to the table she said she would be right back so she could put our food in. Mind you it had been probably 7-10 mins since taking the order. I will give her this. The order came out perfectly no mistakes on the food. Which is why I am giving 2 stars and not 1 We were ready to leave and after 4 attempts at making the checks correct, including reminding her that the mistake drink was on one of the checks. we finally got out of there. It was disappointing to say the least. We tried to remain understanding since we are a restaurant industry family but I was just getting so frustrating. We did speak to the manager on the way out who was very apologetic. Maybe understaffed I'm not sure. read more

We were seated very quickly and served fresh hot delicious honey butter croissants! Our server was attentive, and checked in with us many times which was appreciated! The food came out quickly but it wasn't necessarily hot. i got the 22oz Texas T-bone it was about $28 with an extra side. The filet part was small and it wasn't cooked evenly but it was still good. We also ordered the chocolate cake fudge sundae but next time i would skip it. I assumed the cake a fudge would be warmed but it was cold so the cake was less appetizing. 6.5/10 Food, 8/10 Service, atmosphere 7/10. I would come back again! read more

For the third time our order was wrong. I even went so far as to phone the order in, instead of my usual online ordering. Still was wrong. Got tomatoes when I specifically asked for no tomatoes. Got ranch dressing for the salad when the description was for honey mustard. If it wasn't the third time our order was messed up I would give them a little grace, but honestly there really needs to be better supervision when packing up the to go orders. Came in for dinner with my mom one night during the week. It looked fairly busy. There was no hostess and after a few minutes it looked like a cook from the back came over to seat us. He was friendly and very apologetic about the wait. We had a lovely young waitress whose name may have been Annabelle(?). She was very cheerful and eager to answer all questions about the menu and different ingredients in certain dishes. She was also very attentive the whole evening. I ordered the chicken pot pie and my mom ordered the salmon. Both of us loved our meals and were surprised by the low prices. We also ordered the carrot cake but I would skip this next time. The candied pecans seemed kind of stale and the dish was just too sweet for us. But everything else about the night was wonderful and the staff was great! read more

Building is beautiful, staff was friendly but the food...slow to come out which is understandable if they are short staffed HOWEVER, no excuse for the salad coming out after a long wait with the entrees literally seconds later and having them range in temperature from lukewarm to cold. I don't blame the server. I think management needs to have more involvement in making certain the kitchen is doing their job. read more

Cheddars has long been a favorite restaurant of mine. I have enjoyed the food quality as well as the ambience and professionalism of their staff. However, in my most recent visit to the cheddars in Riverview, Florida, I was totally disappointed. I had five guest with me and all except one had a problem with their food. Virtually everything was over salted, not just a little bit, but a lot. My whitefish had about twice the seasoning on it that it should have had. The green beans were more like mush than anything else and the mashed potatoes were absolutely horrible. Only two good things about my visit: the croissants served as an appetizer and our waiter. I know this is a relatively new restaurant, but I gave them one chance and I will never be back. They are giving a bad name to the entire cheddars chain. read more

Never heard of such nonsense. There were 4 people at a bar that seats maybe 20. What is there to check? Sat at bar and was advised they do NOT have a happy hour. Hostess Victoria said to my mom that she'd get her a close booth because she knows she's old and can't walk far! My mother is an older woman but she's only using a walker because she had surgery not because of her age! How rude! She doesn't look like a spring chicken herself! After I asked for the manager she said Bailey would be right with us,I wanted to address how uncomfortable she made my mother right away. Bailey never came to our booth,I asked my server to get her for me and she said right away. I seen our server approach a woman who didn't look old enough to be the manager nod,look our way. Our server said she'd be by shortly,except she never came by! I ordered the pot pie our server recommended and it was good. My mother's fish was overly salty and she couldn't eat it. The server apologized for the fish and offered something else but by then we were ready to leave. Our server felt bad for the hostess and the fish being unedible,but this wasn't her fault. We had dinner there last evening, my husband and me. The complimentary croissants were fresh and nice, drizzled with a sweet liquid - possibly thin honey? We split the 8 ounce grilled salmon. It came with rice and 2 sides; we chose a baked potato and broccoli. The salmon was delicious and well cooked, as was the potato and rice. But both the salmon and potato were salty. The broccoli had been forgotten; the server brought it out on a separate plate. The broccoli was overcooked. The restaurant was very busy, there were no empty tables (we were there between 5 and 6 PM) and, therefore, it was noisy. There was some sort of music in the background but all we heard was the drumbeat. The restaurant is new, created from the former Sweet Tomatoes restaurant but totally redone. The ceiling had acoustic tiles and was of different heights; it should have been quieter. We won't be back - too noisy for us. read more
