Writing this review is incredibly bittersweet. I enrolled my now 4yo at the very tender age of age of 3 months back in 2020. As a first time mom, looking back at this, it seems utterly crazy to hand over my precious little one at such a young age. But, the moment Paulina & Mama Armida opened their doors, I knew we found our tribe. Although it is an in-home daycare, Angels is very much run like a center. The kiddos follow a schedule, technology advancements like an app displaying detailed updates of the childrens' days AND there is no television in sight. And one of the best parts of this place is it's such a positive and enlightening place that your kiddos will probably teach you a thing or two. The rates are incredibly reasonable and having recently relocated to the Norther California region, I can truly say you get FAR MORE than what you are paying for. I called and made visits to other daycares before enrolling my son at Angels From Heaven. Paulina was extremely accommodating when it was time to set up a walk through visit before enrolling. Once I met her and saw the daycare, I knew that it was the perfect place for our then 10-month old.. It is apparent from the first visit that they employ holistic approaches to teaching young children. My son is almost two and has flourished while being here! Our son started Angels From Heaven at 9months old and the Angels from Heaven crew made the transition to working parents for first time in our lives so much easier. From day one, we knew our son was getting love, care and attention. They teachers are diligent about sending updates about how your child is doing throughout the day via the app and they come up with creative and fun activities and curriculum for the children. My daughter attended here for the infant program. All the staff and other children are great. They took real good care of my daughter and got her involved in all the activities the school has to offer and also let her have her own time to herself cause she likes to play on her own. I like the daily updates they provided with their app you can get on the phone or laptop. Some of the updates had photos of them eating, playtime, water activities, etc. The price wasn't bad either and the choice of part time or the full week was ideal for us. About a year ago we enrolled our son at Angels from heaven and it is the best decision we have made for his development. He was 17 months at the time and we had family help care for him up until that point. I want to commend Paulina for how she handled situations when We, as first time parents, raised concerns about the tiniest details that now seem so insignificant and realize those were moments where our baby was transitioning into an independent toddler and all that comes along with that. She always listened, was understanding and assured us that it was part of his development but that he was okay. Paulina is always bursting with energy and she provides weekly feedback on our sons development. She keeps us informed on milestones and on behaviors to keep an eye on from a developmental standpoint. Paulina and Armida use an app where you can see pictures and updates of how your baby is doing for the day. They also request supplies and provide feedback via the app, it's amazing ! Our son LOVES day care. He used to cry when we dropped him off because at 17 months, he had separation anxiety but he quickly outgrew that and now he cries when we pick him up because he doesn't want to leave. The parents here are all involved in holidays and birthdays and my son has made friends he sees outside of day care hours. Armida has such a strong parental presence to her and the kids are drawn to her as well- she is the sweetest. Antonia Is another care taker who is great with feedback and is always making sure the kids get along. Our son is ahead with his speech and he knows all his colors and his almost all of alphabet thanks to the structured curriculum Paulina and Armida have In place. He's great with arts and crafts. He has the best time here on outdoor water play days, science days, sand box days and all days! The daily schedule at day care allows us to have a lot of consistency at home as well. We just moved to California last year with a newborn and did not have any idea about daycares in the area. We did a lot of research and realized that it can take a while to get a spot here. I remembered sending an email here and they had no opening. We chose a different one and put a deposit although I was not a 100% with that decision, but it was the best from our choices. Then I got a text from Paulina that they have a spot. I immediately scheduled a tour and we knew right away after talking to her and seeing the place that this is the one. We reserved a spot here right away. My daughter started here at 6 months and she's now 16months. Armida and Paulina made us feel very comfortable here from the start and we are always at ease when we drop off our daughter everyday. Ms Armida is always very sweet and very caring. Paulina is very energetic and fun. They are a good combination. This place is very homy and very clean. They also have an outdoor play area where they also do pool days during the summer. They do a lot of fun activities for the kids--painting, singing, walks, experiments, etc. They also provide food for the kids and that is a big plus for us. I can tell Ms Armida makes good food for them as my daughter is always full when she gets home. They helped a lot when she was transitioning to solid food, and now she likes her fruits and vegetables. My daughter is also learning a lot as she talks a lot now and surprises us with something new everyday. They have an app where parents can see updates for the day including nap times, meals, activities, and my favorite, pictures. I really like this home based day care. They are very easy to deal with and the place feels like home. My daughter does not want to go home some times during pick up cause she loves this place. We recently just enrolled our 18 month old son here. I was very nervous at first because he's only every been with me, my husband, or my mom. As any mom would feel, I was afraid he would feel like we abandoned him. He's also very shy. We used to go to Gymboree and he would never play with the other kids. He would be playing on a structure by himself and when other kids would go to that structure, he would leave and do something else. Paulina and Armida are amazing!! They have helped my son come out of his shell. They send me pictures of him playing with other kids. AND he's starting to eat vegetables!! Update: It's been about 6 months since my son has been here. He absolutely loves it! He's always so proud and excited to show me all the artwork he creates with them. Teacher Armida and teacher Paulina truly care about all the children and the children love them. Most of the time when I pick up my son, he doesn't want to leave and says bye to them like 10 times before actually leaving with me. Due to Covid, I'm working from home and taking care of my infant. Our son has been in the great hands of Armida and Paulina since he was 4 months old and he's recently turned 2. We have grown together with this place SO much, they have truly become part of our little family. Armida is such an amazing and caring lady that she's almost like that grand mother any baby and kid would love to have. She has handled our little man so gracefully since day 1 that we felt comfortable placing our complete trust in her hands. She's always available and we knew and FELT that we would just be one call away, rather than miles away. Paulina is a passionate and energetic young woman that on top of being Armida's right hand woman helping out with all the lovely minions, continuously applies her intelligence and savvy to further market and expand this lovely facility. On top of attending to the kids' needs, they have also implemented programs and activities for the kids to interact, learn, sing, play, draw, read, and so on. They also utilize this interactive phone app that keeps you well informed of your kid's activities throughout the day. It was an extremely helpful and effective tool for my wife and I to know how our boy was doing at any given time with one click or swipe away. But the countless efforts from Armida and Paulina were, the main reason behind this successful communication, as they find time to log in the activities to keep the parents informed, while managing multiple little angels. Another huge plus is that they also provide weekend babysitting service in case the parents need to get away for a bit I feel in the air day after day just how much this place has grown and is constantly looking to better and evolve. They have Daily Connect app which is a mobile app that they use to send pics of your child and activities every day of the week. It also includes their nap time, diaper change and food intake. My husband and I are so thankful to have found this wonderful daycare for our son! The daycare is clean and child friendly and there are developmentally appropriate toys, equipment, and furniture. Even though this is a home-based daycare the area the children are in is separate and retrofitted well for the purposes it serves. The teachers are attentive, kind, nurturing, and flexible with our schedules. We get updates on our son's everyday activities such as naps, diaper changes, milk feedings, and meals through updates from the DailyConnect app. I'll even get an occasional photo through the app, which I appreciate very much! My child attended this daycare since she was 16 months. It's truly an amazing cozy daycare, teacher Paulina and Armida treat the children with a lot of love and care and that's exactly what children need. They have structure daily activities that help parents such as myself who don't want a lot of screen time. In addition they help your children enjoy vegetables . Our baby boy was blessed to have stayed here for 2-3 months under Paulina + Armida's care. They take great care of my son and he was always happy to see them in the morning. I especially loved that even though he was the youngest there, he was encouraged to observe and given the opportunity to interact with the older kids, participating in circle time (if he's not napping), etc. They also use this mobile app that logs his daily activities + stores photos of his everyday milestones which is something that working (and new) parents such as my husband and I really valued, as we were able to check quickly to see what our little one has been up to We were sad to have to leave, but should circumstances change, we'd gladly come back! read more

We enrolled our son here when he was about 9 months old. It was out of necessity due to our previous daycare giving us 3 days notice that they were closing. Meaning: we were desperate and took a chance. He just turned 5 and will begin kindergarten next month (distant learning, ugh!) We stayed at Angels From Heaven the entire time because they are a caring and loving daycare which is run out of their home and has every feeling of a family-run establishment. My son absolutely loves Paulina and Armida. My wife and I are truly sad that we have to transition from a clean and safely run daycare (open throughout the lock-down and allowing families work through this mess), to distant online learning from home with all of the disruptions and difficulties that entails. To add a personal story which I believe truly captures the family love Paulina and Armida brings to Angels: My wife was diagnosed with cancer two years ago. I did everything I could to continue making life as normal as possible for our son while she had long stints in the hospital. Paulina and Armida assisted us in caring for our son beyond what any large generic daycare would have done. We will never forget them and can never thank them for all they did and have done to help us, teach our son, and foster a loving environment for all. This is a review of how poorly the daycare runs their business and conducts itself in an incredibly unprofessional manner. This is not a review of the quality of their care for children. My husband and I had toured the home daycare in June 2018. We liked it and immediately wanted to secure a spot in October 2018. To secure the spot, we were required to put down half the month's tuition, which we did. Along the way, I had questions about what kinds of developmental toys and activities were provided, whether I needed to bring diapers, whether tuition may be prorated if we took the baby on a week-long vacation, and whether I could bring the baby in for a meet/greet before the big day. Basic questions, I would think. As time was getting closer to our baby's first day of daycare, my husband and I wanted to review the daycare's contract and terms. My husband had a question about the contract and decided to clarify first with Paulina, the daycare director. Paulina responded and claimed that she felt we weren't comfortable with their policies and the way they run their daycare based on the questions we had , and that she was uncomfortable accepting our baby as well. She gave us two options: 1) either be cancelled with our deposit refunded or 2) be cancelled after 1 month of daycare with them. Again, these were basic questions any parent would have and we never had a single negative interaction with her previously so we were completely blindsided. Paulina gave us no good choice, and we are now left without daycare options for our baby. Mind you, this is all 1 week before daycare was supposed to begin. And even if we did take option # 2 of daycare for 1 month there, there was no way we can find another daycare in just 1 month. I even turned down another daycare we were waitlisted on because I thought we were in good hands. Do not come to this daycare if you want to ask any questions about their daycare policies, you may get cancelled abruptly. read more

Angels from Heaven is the best home day care in the area. We toured multiple day cares and after deciding to pull our daughter out of a big commercial day care, we decided to enroll her with Armida and Paulina. She immediately got comfortable there with all the other little toddlers and the care and attention she gets from Armida and Paulina is amazing. They cook fresh homemade food every day, provide real time updates to the parents, have different activities each day, and most of all our very accommodating and love kids!! Also, our daughter used to constantly get sick at her old big day care but at Angels from Heaven, she gets sick very infrequently. That is a big relief for us as my husband and I both work full-time.
