It's important to know in any project you undertake that there will be key decisions to make, problems encountered and challenges to overcome and you want to have the right partner. Angels Pools is the right partner for pool construction and remodeling without a doubt and I interviewed about 10 other contractors in Orange County who didn't make the grade. Angels Pools refinished my pool, patched up some cracks, put in new tile, added colored deck jets and a waterfall, added all new pumps and wifi based equipment, helped with some drain issues, repoured a portion of my surrounding patio and put in a new driveway for me. You will first meet with Edward to go over your new construction or remodel plans and he will provide you with a quote. He has worked in pool construction himself and will let you know all potential issues you may encounter so there are no surprises. He provided me a quote very quickly and had the details right whereas several of my quotes took two weeks or more if I even received anything from them and were usually sloppy and missed half of what we discussed. So, after searching many options we settled on doing business with Angel's Pools out of Anaheim, Ca. We did a complete replaster & added of "baja-shelf!" Angel's team was outstanding & performed quality workmanship throughout the job! We, (owners) added the "Baja-shelf" in the middle of the project, & Raymond helped guide us through the "change-order" process! At the end of project, I was having trouble with water flow @ jacuzzi? Angel personally arrived with his workman & diagnosed / repaired the problem. There is a language barrier as most of his crew speak's spanish only, but don't let that deter you, as his team is "hard-working & knowledgeable!" I speak enough Spanish & it was a non-issue for me! When we decided to pursue a complete backyard remodel, we spoke to a couple of companies prior to Angel's Pools. We didn't get a comfortable feeling that made us eager to move forward with either company. It just didn't feel right. If we were going to spend that much money, we wanted to feel confident knowing it would be a worthy investment. Edward from Angel's Pools came to provide an estimate. We found him to be knowledgeable and straightforward. Angel's Pools price estimate was in the middle of the other two estimates. We really liked their reviews and felt comfortable as a result of Edward's confidence in his team's abilities. We signed the contract and moved forward with our fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Every single person we dealt with during the project was fantastic. The ladies in the office (Jasmine and Julie) are great. They communicate regularly and are responsive to all questions and help move the project along. I'm not an easy guy to work for. Edward and his team were on time, told me what they were going to do and when they hoped to have it done, and met those timelines. His guys are pros, and you can tell that they know exactly what they are doing. Angels pools came in and removed a LOT of old cracking concrete (I'm guessing about 1000 sq ft). They removed our nasty, old pool, and our aging deck. They then put in a new pool, replaced all of the old concrete with pavers, and built a new outdoor living space in place of the deck. Fire pit, wet bar, lots of cupboard storage, wired everything for speakers, flat screen, power outlets, ceiling fans, lights. Ran gas lines for fire pit and bar-b-q. It took a few months as it was a major overhaul to the back yard, but the finished product it awesome. With a project this size, there are always going to be minor issues. Jose (the owner) was very quick to address anything that came up to my satisfaction. My only minor complaints are that I wish I would have been prepared for the chaos that would be my backyard during the project so I could have put away and protected some of our outdoor furniture from the dirty, dusty, project. The outdoor living area they put in is awesome. Our family treats it as our new living room. I would recommend Edward and his team to anyone. read more

First impression was terrible. I read the reviews and got excited, but then I talked to the company and didn't get that experience. Man on the other line stated their projects start at 50k minimum for basic chlorine pool, lights, etc. Everything is extra. I asked you'll install a 25ft pool for 50k? He said again 50k minimum and extras, ig. spas, led lights, concrete work goes up from there. How do you get a 5 star with conversations like that? 3 stars for not wasting our time. Angel's Pools are Fantastic and Highly Recommended! We recently had our pool remodeled to include rock work, a waterfall feature, grotto with waterfall, lighting and additional seating. We also went from white plaster to a stone-scape bottom. We are so happy with the outcome and love how beautiful it turned out. I was going to wait until Angels Pools finished my job before I wrote this, but I need to let everyone know how AMAZING Jose (the owner) and his crew are. They are NOT just a pool company. They have been working on my full backyard remodel since early April. It is a big job with over 3000 sq ft of pavers, full pool remodel, lights, skimmer, garden wall and fire pit. I wanted anyone who may be trying to decide between this company or another one to not miss out on this amazing company. 1) His Crew was on early and on time for work every day. They clean up their equipment and their work area at the end of every day. 2) They are customer service oriented. They are always asking me to make sure what that things were progressing the way I wanted. They always said "if you are happy, we are happy" and they really are serious about your satisfaction. 3) They are artists. Seriously, the marble pavers they are laying are square, the pool is a free form one, but they make the marble mold into the desired shape so it looks like the coping and pavers were always together. Truly Truly Amazing! 4) The are detail oriented. I see the right equipment to make sure all the slopes for drains and lines are correct. I am so incredibly happy with what I have seen so far, I wanted to make sure others know how good these guys are! They are about 2 weeks out from finishing. If you were thinking about a backyard remodel, pool work or even paver work these guys so incredibly professional, amazing and I would have no hesitation use them again, or recommending them to anyone. We started getting quotes for pool remodel in early part of the summer. We got 4 different quotes and we picked Angels because they had the best price and can tell Jose knows what's he's doing! Angel re-plastered our entire pool, put in new tile, channel drain, led lights, and a varispeed pump. Estimated time to finished the project was one week but because the tile was not in stock we had to wait another week until it came in. Demo was fast and clean. Everything was removed and dump by Angels and his team. Once the tile came in the re-plastering and tile didn't take long. I would totally recommend Angels to my friends. As there was a lot of dust they hosed down the deck as well as the adjacent plants which i really appreciated.They were on time each day and did an excellant job.I had several estimates and they were only slighly higher but not the highest. This is a great company and they did a fantastic job installing a step in the wading area of our community pool. The only thing I didn't like, they were sending me invoices and wanting to be paid for each piece of the job independently. However, we are an HOA and I only order checks from our accountant twice a month so that was a little challenging but it worked out fine and they did a great job! read more

We hired Angel's Pools to fix our skimmer on the pool. They did a great job fixing the skimmer. Unfortunately, when they set down their equipment it melted our brand new fake grass. They were very nice and asked us to call our grass people because we would get a cheaper rate. We called them out and we got an invoice for $250 for the repair. Angel's Pools is now telling me they don't believe it was their fault and they are questioning the invoice itself. The invoice says $250 for repair and Angel's Pools wants details of type of grass, measurements, etc. We had extra grass. The $250 was the service charge to repair it. There aren't any other details. I even sent them the original bill when we had it installed for $7,000.Needless to say, I'm out $250 for damage they did. read more

We needed to replace our pool tile, substitute LED lights for our old incandescent pool and spa lights, and redo the mastic around the pool. Angel's estimator, Eddie, came out and discussed all the options with us, and within a day provided alternative pricing based on the various options. Within a few days we selected our options, and within ten days the work began. Angel's team was professional and hardworking, and got the work done in a remarkably short time, allowing us to refill the pool and resume enjoying summer in our backyard. We decided to completely redo our backyard and wanted to add a pool and spa. We met with four pool companies with an idea of what we wanted but with no particular budget in mind. We chose Angel's Pools because Edward was the most professional consultant. The price quoted was competitive to the other companies. After a deposit, Edward designed the pool, spa, and hardscaping. He sent 3D renderings and videos. Throughout the process Edward listened carefully to our preferences so it took only a few quick revisions to get exacly what we wanted. After authorizing the design, Angel's Pools was quick to get a permit and start the project. They started the work shortly after the permit was obtained. They had workers here 6 days a week and finished the project in 9 weeks. Julie from their office kept us updated along the way. Invoices that were sent for interval payments were accurate. Change orders were accurately recorded and billed. Any questions were quickly addressed by Angel. We are very pleased with the final product. The pool and spa look exactly as designed. Found an ad for Angel's pools in the Home Concept magazine and called for the advertised free estimate. I spoke with Julie, who advised she would have Edward call me back to schedule an appointment. After four days, no return phone call was ever made from this contractor, which in my opinion is very poor customer service and reflects badly on a company's reputation. I guess their business is doing so good that they wouldn't need an additional 75-85K job from us. read more

We recently had our pool resurfaced by Angel's Pools in January and they did an excellent job. The salesperson was nice, easy to deal with, and explained everything in detail. Their quote was fair, not cheap but also not as expensive as others we checked with and they were able to schedule us when we needed it. We felt good about the price and the quality of work they did. The office checked in every morning to update us on what was going to happen next. We never felt like we were out of the loop or wondering when something would happen like we have in the past with other contractors. We didn't have to stay on top of them, they'd show up on time, do their work for the day, clean up after themselves, update us on what was done and what comes next, and they'd be on their way. They completed the work on time despite a couple days of rain during that week. They even upgraded our electrical to bring it up to code which is something we needed done. They cleaned and replaced parts for the filter and left the pool water perfectly balanced and crystal clear. We couldn't have been happier with their work and how smoothly it went. Everyone we dealt with was nice and professional. Now we'll see how long it lasts but based on how well they did the work we don't doubt it'll hold up over time. We recently had Angel's Pools re-tile our pool. We were extremely happy with the result. They said they would empty our pool on Saturday and begin demolition on Monday and they did! They said they would be done in a week and they were! Their crew was here every day and completed the project on schedule. We are very pleased with Angel's Pools service. I contacted them end of September and asked them if they can remodel my pool and be able to finish the job before our big Halloween party! I got 3 other quotes from different pool companies. All other companies told me it is too late and they are not able to do the job in 4 weeks. They wanted us to start after our party. Edward promised me to get the job done in less than 4 weeks. And they did !!! The pool was finished in less than 3 weeks!! Edward is very reliable, knowledgeable and patience. We changed our plaster pool to pebble. We got new coping and added a waterfall. Our mini pebble pool looks gorgeous with the new waterfall and LED lights at night!
