    Chilaquiles

One of the better Mexican Restaurants in this area. Food quality is really good, especially for the price. I really loved their Chilaquiles, but the Tamales were just average. Will definitely order again from here again. Adding to my Delivery list

Pure fat from just one small taco. This was about half of the filling inside the taco. Way too much fat.

I had high hopes based on the previous reviews, but this place was extremely disappointing. The meat was very poor quality, with a strange odor (it smelled slightly rancid) and an unusually high amount of fat. In one carnitas taco, half of the contents was chunks of fat (attached photo shows what I removed from a single taco). Already a bad sign, but I thought maybe I could overlook the fat content by removing it and just eating the meat. However, I took one bite of the taco and threw everything away. The flavor and smell was really off, and I suspect spoiled. I unfortunately chose a burrito with the same meat filling, so it presented the same problem--tons of fat and a strange odor. So nasty.

It's ok, I really wanted this place to be really good, the menu looks really good. I was a bit skeptical on how you make tripe, head cheese, goat, beef, and alhambre fresh and I should have kept true to my instinct. The birria tacos were good and the consommé was pretty special. The goat was also very very good. I wish the menu was perhaps a bit smaller or there was better indication on what was good that particular day but I suppose this is my punishment for laziness, I should have gone there and not had it delivered. They were out of chips and guac and tamales, had I known I probably would have cancelled the order.

    Torta & fríes

This is one of the best services I've ever had. Abby always made sure we were great. She recommended one of her favorite drinks. My oh my it went amazing. I had the tortas that comes with fries. One of the best tortas ever. Abby is very helpful!

Don't get empanadas here. They mix the old and fresh empanadas. Barely has any meat. Stale and sad. Don't waste your $1.50 here.

Had breakfast, food was great, coffee really good, service was good and the ambiance was nice, for a smaller location it was welcoming.

I decided to go on a foodie adventure to find some birria tacos. I came across this place in the heart of Elizabeth. 10 minutes away from the mall. The place is small but you can sit and eat your food there. I wanted the whole experience , so I did just that lol. Place looked clean, person at the counter greeted me and was nice. I went on a Wednesday afternoon. There was just one person sitting there eating. I ordered my Birria Tacos and waited patiently lol. I was so excited to try these. When the food was brought to the table, I thought how beautiful and yummy does this look... (pictures below) The tacos were absolutely delicious. They give u 4. Most places give 3 , so that's a plus right there lol. I personally love the amount of cilantro and onions that were on top of the tacos. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The consume.. just makes it that much better. It was definitely a mouthgasm moment lol! Going back most likely on the weekend!! Definitely recommend this spot. I always love supporting small businesses like this one. Things to know.. -You have to park in the street. Pay the meter. (I went during the week, not sure about the weekend and if you have to pay the meter ) -They take Apple Pay and cards -I paid $20, W/tip included (although it's optional) & a drink. Not too bad specially when the food is worth every penny. -Good options as far as food and drinks. (Not only birria tacos ) - They sell desserts as well. In the fridge by the drinks! Enjoy!!

When we arrived the restaurant wasn't too busy, but since we made reservation we got a table right away. Inside of the restaurant looked nice, several tables and a full service bar. The menu had a good mix of Mexican and Peruvian dishes. I started with the mango butterfly lemonade that was such a tasty drink. For appetizer we got the Flautists, a dish full of cheese and guacamole, but the shells so hard from deep fry. For entree I got the steak burrito. It was huge, filled with decent steak, lots of rice and other ingredients. We also had ceviche de mariscos, which was full of semi steamed seafood items. The chicken quesadilla was actually good. The service was fine overall. Staff members checked on us time to time. The dishes came out in short intervals. Overall it seemed like a okay dining spot to me.

Warm and good flavor. I was eating that quesadilla for 2 days. I want to order sopa de mariscos but either I slipped or he heard me wrong, I got ceviche de mariscos. Couldn't really enjoy much of the dish. I don't eat raw food. But really big portion. People who like ceviche will enjoy it. Lots FIFA decoration. It's not a big restaurant. But it's a good size for locals.
