Disgusting front door as you enter. The lower half was covered in a white dried liquid, and dried shiny grease. Who allows this? First impressions mean everything. Tried to overlook this, and all the dirty tables and gross drink station. Ordered a hot lobster roll. Mostly shreds of lobster. No nice pieces (none bigger than a m&m in size). But the worse part is how dry and rubbery the tiny shreds were. Nasty! This place seems more concerned with opening new locations and adding a bazillion more menu items, than they are about a solid guest experience or tasty food. They've lost their way and don't care. I really like this place, the food is usually pretty good. I've had instances where my food was cold even after waiting but am halfway down the street when I realize it. I went recently and paid for two extra shrimp but didn't receive them which is disappointing because 1 shrimp is almost $2. My concern with this place is that they don't change their gloves. I have been a fan of Angie's Lobster for some time. I love the affordable drive-thru lobster concept. You can get a lobster meal with fries and a drink for around $12. And it is pretty good too. Angie's Lobster combined with Angie's Prime Grill by adding chicken and USDA Prime steak to their menu. The bigger menu has salads, wraps, sandwiches and breakfast. They still offer all of their popular seafood items. I came by recently to try one of their burgers. It comes with their special house-made sauce. I came by for breakfast no too long afterwards. The breakfast sandwich is a good-sized sandwich, but a little messy to eat. But I did enjoy the taste and how affordable my meals were. Service was good, but at times could be a little better. The food here was good but the service was slow and it could've been a lot better. We walked in, ordered on the kiosk - One warm bowl, one salad, and one crab roll with a side of fries. It was empty when we arrived but it got super busy after we sat down. We waited about 30 minutes for our food to be ready and it was just placed on the counter without it being called out. It was almost as if they picked and chose what orders they would call out because they called out a few. The food was good and was flavorful. I love Angie's Lobster! I recently started getting my nails done at a salon in Tempe and came across this Angie's Lobster one day on my way home. I've been hooked ever since! Angie's offers seafood sandwiches, salads, bowls, and more at a reasonable price. I usually get a spicy honey fried cod sandwich meal. It comes with two pieces of fried North Atlantic cod on a brioche bun with house-made spicy honey and tartar sauce on the side. It's a sticky, messy, delicious sandwich! The meal comes with fries and a fountain drink. The fries are also fantastic. I think about this meal all the time. I knocked a star off because service can be a hit or miss. I've only utilized the drive-thru and even though the staff isn't necessarily rude, they're not the warmest people either. They don't greet you or ask if you need anything else. It's up to you to ask for additional condiments. During my last visit, they messed up my order. They almost charged me for two meals when I only requested one and they ended up giving me the (regular) fried cod sandwich instead of the spicy honey. It was too late to go back when I realized the mistake. It was still delicious, but I was really looking forward to enjoying a spicy honey fried cod sandwich. Like Angie's Prime Grill, there is no staff on the front side of the restaurant. When you walking you order at the kiosk and the cooks place your order on the shelves for you to pick up. Grab your own drink and condiments, and you never have a conversation with anyone. It's a little strange to not see any staff around at first, but that's how they keep the prices so low. There are some spray bottles and a sign saying to wipe your table when you're done, but it appears that almost nobody does. It looks like most people come in and clean the table before they sit. The food is really good here, and the prices are amazing! We had: *Lobster roll with spicy butter *Chilled Maine Jonah Crab roll *Chilled North Atlantic Snow Crab Roll *Caprese Bowl with falafel *Fries Everything was so delicious, including the fries! I LOVE the chicken salads from Angie's, and recently learned that there are so many different locations around the valley, some offering lobster or burgers. I decided to go with my usual chicken salad here. This location was different, as it was drive through ordering only, and they had a credit card machine outside at the speaker you used to place your order. It was different. But the process was smooth and my Cobb salad was yummy. I would definitely come back here again, and might try one of their delicious looking lobster sandwiches. read more

The system is easy to navigate and your name is called when your order is done. This time I had the fried cod meal with a pineapple lemonade and fries. I also ordered extra tartar sauce packets. The cod was cooked to perfection. It was crispy and flakey, very well done. It was delicious with tons of tartar sauce on it. The fries just keep going as they give you so much food for what you pay. I have not been to Angie's in a while and I forgot how much I enjoy it. This location is the first time I've tried their lobster and burgers concept. I love it. Personally I enjoy going in and ordering from the kiosks with no human interaction. I'm totally fine with it for this type of food. If having fewer employees means I get a quality product with a deal, then yes let's do that. Plus, the humans we did interact with were a pleasure. Polite, nice, and happy to correct Derek Y's order. No arguing or having to justify the complaint. Just a "oh my I'm so sorry, let me remake that for you".... Refreshing behavior a for fast food worker. Nothing against people who work at fast food, I myself started at Denny's way back in the day. But so much of the time the workers are rude, impatient, and just unpleasant to interact with. I know, I know....living wages, low quality work, possible poor working conditions. That's all very real. The companies that do business like that suck. Any company that treats its employees poorly sucks. I don't care what industry it is. Anyway, this is becoming quite the rant. My point is, I'll take automation if it means the humans that are involved are better off. The price points at Angie's can't be beat. The food is good, it's fast, the dining room is simply and clean. This location is "fancy". The one on baseline is sort of like a padded white room. But I get it, keep things simple and streamlined in whatever way possible to give a deal on the food. Sounds good. Anyway, I tried the egg burger and the warm snow crab roll. Both delicious! Fries were crispy and fresh. Arnold Palmer perfect ratio and their cold brew is pretty decent too. I get that they are keeping costs down by not having a counter, but the floors were dirty, they ask you to clean and sanitize your table when you're done eating, and the food was OK. I've had lobster roll at of all places the airport in Charlotte so I was eager to try Angie's with a friend who had gone to another location but this one was close by. I have to say I was very disappointed. We ordered the lobster roll with extra lobster and lemon butter which were both additional charges. The roll itself was bland. The bread roll tasted like a regular hotdog bum. I also ordered a side of cod which was over cooked and extra crispy or should I say dry. And the fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The fingers have so much filler in them you cannot taste the lobster. They taste like stove top stuffing fried sticks. The fingers and the fries were cold. The quality of this place has declined. This location serves the best fast food seafood and salads in the Valley. I didn't pay too close attention to this location for a while because I didn't think they had a dining room and I was wrong about that - they do and that's how I recommend you experience this location. I say this because you can refill your drink. You might be thinking, "Hey, no big deal....", but you can make a mean Arnold Palmer and I like to have several refills of the good stuff! The food is excellent and the pricing ranges from good to amazing. The lobster roll meals are around $14 and are excellent. All meals come with fries and the fries are damn good. My favorites are the Fish Sandwich and the fried shrimp meals. The breading on each of these items is consistently crispy and delicious and also comes on the chicken strips. The amazing part of their menu pricing comes in the form of the 6 or so different full sized salads that you can order with chicken. I love the Cobb and Greek salads the most and my wife loves the Mexican version. Each of these salads with chicken go for $6!!!!! I think that could be cheaper than attempting to make those salads at home and you never have to step foot in a grocery store! Go eat there if you like delicious salads and fried seafood. I'm very surprised to see the abundance of 1 star reviews for this location, the food was amazing quality, quick to come out, and the staff was great! However, I think the area is what causes these reviews. In my time dining in, I witnessed (karen type) people complaining over so many small things. For instance, a lady was yelling at the staff for more half and half when the canister was not even empty, it was just closed! Moreover, her husband complained about the fries being "cold" after he let his order sit for about 10 minutes before grabbing it! I love their Mexican burrito with chicken here. Yesterday I thought I was getting one, but it basically had rice and chicken with a bit of avocado inside.
