I love the food and love the staff even more!! This is our go to spot for good micheladas, margaritas and food. They always make us feel like family when we visit

My son has performance training in the plaza, so I decided to walk over and give this place a try -- and I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the albóndigas, and it was delicious. The meatballs were tender, and the broth with cabbage, carrots, and rice was full of flavor. It's hard to find good Mexican food in this area, but this spot is definitely a hit for me. The chips and salsa were great, and the iced tea was nice and refreshing. The place is clean and welcoming, and the service was excellent -- I was greeted right away and seated quickly. The server was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back! I'll be back most definitely.

Just okay. I am always looking for new Mexican food restaurants to try. I found Bibiano's on Yelp and the food photos did look good, so we thought we'd giv'em a try. There is plenty of open parking, so that was a good start. The ambiance of the restaurant was interesting. The tall angled ceiling looked Aztek inspired to me. After entering, we were immediately seated and asked for drink orders. We were treated well and the owner was cheerful and attentive throughout the visit. I wanted to try their Chile Relleno (I always do). So I ordered that and and Enchilada. My wife ordered a Beef Taco, Tostada and Enchilada. The biggest disappointment for me was that the food was just warm, not hot. I did not care for the spices in the ground beef taco and was not crazy about the Chile Relleno either. It was cooked omelette style which I'm not crazy about and the Chile did not have that great smokey Chile flavor, like it came out of a can. I did however like the sauce that they pored on top of it. The Tostada was good and so was the Enchilada. Had the Enchilada been more than just warm (in temperature), it would have been better. The beans and rice were good as well. This is a cute little place with what appears to be a caring owner. And to be fair, Mexican food is very subjective and just depends on the individual. You'll have to try them for yourself!

We were visiting from out of town and our hosts took us here for a Mexican dinner. Upon entering we saw a sign posted that their AC was not working. We were shown to a table in front of a blasting fan that was being used to chill down the place in 101 degree weather. The waitress seemed frazzled. We were a party of 6. We got 2 small baskets of corn ships half filled, that disappeared quickly. We had to ask for more after a bit, but seems it was done so begrudgingly. They came with 2 salsas, one sweet and one spicy. I prefer the sweet. I got the chili rellenos and rice, no beans. It was good, but almost NO cheese inside as expected. Others had chicken tacos and steak tacos, and burritos. They were happy with their meal. The highlight was the huge Mexican pizza that one had ordered and shared and still had leftovers to take home. I was almost blown over to Scottsdale with the air blasting directly on me from this temporary cooler. I did feel so sorry for the cooks in the back with no AC! They must have been sweating profusely with all the appliances turned on. All in all, we had a good time, but it was hard to carry on a conversation around the table with this large blowing fan rattling away 2 feet away. I feel for these people. Next time we come to town, I hope their ventilation/cooling problem is fixed, and we will come back.

Smells funky inside. Like a Goodwill store. Decor is bright and clean. Booths and tables available Chips are OK. Nothing special. House Salsa is too spicy hot and watery. Other sauce is straight tomatillo. Menu is standard Mexican fare. Prices are reasonable Chicken Enchiladas tasty with green sauce. Rice and beers taste good

Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

Say hello to your new favorite downtown restaurant! Wow, where to begin?…read more Service was amazing - they even printed out a small card with our reservation name on it which was presented on our table. Such a cute touch and very thoughtful. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The spot is small and chic. It's very intimate dining so you'll be sitting close to the table next to you. Luckily, it's a quiet and calm space, so no need to worry about noise. The food was incredible. The salmon crudo was possibly the best crudo I have ever had in my entire life. So fresh and the flavors were balanced to perfection. The risotto changed my life... it was so delicious I couldn't even believe it. The only thing I would recommend skipping was the octopus tostada - not my favorite and a little fishy for my liking. Personal preference of course! The duck tasted great and was beautifully presented, but it wasn't my favorite. Again, I'm not a huge meat eater so take my advice on this one with a grain of salt. Overall an extremely romantic and special meal.

To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.
