Just okay. I am always looking for new Mexican food restaurants to try. I found Bibiano's on Yelp and the food photos did look good, so we thought we'd giv'em a try. There is plenty of open parking, so that was a good start. The ambiance of the restaurant was interesting. The tall angled ceiling looked Aztek inspired to me. After entering, we were immediately seated and asked for drink orders. We were treated well and the owner was cheerful and attentive throughout the visit. I wanted to try their Chile Relleno (I always do). So I ordered that and and Enchilada. My wife ordered a Beef Taco, Tostada and Enchilada. The biggest disappointment for me was that the food was just warm, not hot. I did not care for the spices in the ground beef taco and was not crazy about the Chile Relleno either. It was cooked omelette style which I'm not crazy about and the Chile did not have that great smokey Chile flavor, like it came out of a can. I did however like the sauce that they pored on top of it. The Tostada was good and so was the Enchilada. Had the Enchilada been more than just warm (in temperature), it would have been better. The beans and rice were good as well. This is a cute little place with what appears to be a caring owner. And to be fair, Mexican food is very subjective and just depends on the individual. You'll have to try them for yourself!

We were visiting from out of town and our hosts took us here for a Mexican dinner. Upon entering we saw a sign posted that their AC was not working. We were shown to a table in front of a blasting fan that was being used to chill down the place in 101 degree weather. The waitress seemed frazzled. We were a party of 6. We got 2 small baskets of corn ships half filled, that disappeared quickly. We had to ask for more after a bit, but seems it was done so begrudgingly. They came with 2 salsas, one sweet and one spicy. I prefer the sweet. I got the chili rellenos and rice, no beans. It was good, but almost NO cheese inside as expected. Others had chicken tacos and steak tacos, and burritos. They were happy with their meal. The highlight was the huge Mexican pizza that one had ordered and shared and still had leftovers to take home. I was almost blown over to Scottsdale with the air blasting directly on me from this temporary cooler. I did feel so sorry for the cooks in the back with no AC! They must have been sweating profusely with all the appliances turned on. All in all, we had a good time, but it was hard to carry on a conversation around the table with this large blowing fan rattling away 2 feet away. I feel for these people. Next time we come to town, I hope their ventilation/cooling problem is fixed, and we will come back.

Smells funky inside. Like a Goodwill store. Decor is bright and clean. Booths and tables available Chips are OK. Nothing special. House Salsa is too spicy hot and watery. Other sauce is straight tomatillo. Menu is standard Mexican fare. Prices are reasonable Chicken Enchiladas tasty with green sauce. Rice and beers taste good

My family and I have been coming here for years, today we went to celebrate my sister's graduation,…read morethis is her favorite restaurant. Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

I picked the garlic and lemon pepper. well unfortunately they use the garlic that is already crushed and cut and not fresh garlic in their food and they overcooked the crab and if you do get the lobster tail, they give you 1 whole lobster tail cut in half for two people and they give you lots of shrimp, I mean a lot of shrimp compared to anything else in that seafood broil bag had they overcooked all the sea food and they used a lot of that crushed already diced garlic. That did not make the food Taste good at all. They put way too much garlic in it, and the food was impossible to eat because it was overcooked and it was rubbery. I was very disappointed on how much money I spent . if I knew in advance that they had a family emergency and was closing 1 hour early I would've waited and come back the next day and maybe the food would've have tasted a lot better. It was the lobster seafood boil for two couples, and I bought two sets for four couples. Just beware that if they're in a hurry, try not to be in a hurry to eat here. You probably get a better experience than what my family did. I've been to crab shacks before that has seafood boil and they were way better and not so stingy for the price they charge you. when I was there, there was only one family sitting at a table. The rest of the restaurant was empty. The waitress she was very friendly and very nice and very accommodating.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

You can make a reservation online if you prefer dining in the main dining area, but visiting around this time on a Sunday, the restaurant usually isn't very crowded, and you can likely get seated right away. We opted to sit at the bar area so we could watch the games. Since the bar wasn't crowded, we were able to relax, socialize, have great conversations, and chat with the bartenders and servers throughout our visit. I believe our bartender/server was Jessica, who was working behind the bar that day, and she was absolutely AMAZING! She was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. She even told us about some upcoming specials for next month and gave us all the details. I really appreciated that she took the time to make sure we knew what was coming up. The young lady working the oyster station was also very nice, and the young gentleman working in the bar area was friendly as well. Everyone was attentive and provided great service. We started with the half dozen oysters ($22) and upgraded the complimentary bread to garlic bread for an additional $5. Jessica even offered the upgrade, which I appreciated. We also ordered two large Swamp Things ($20 each). For lunch, they have a daily lunch special from 11 AM-3 PM. I ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo pasta, which comes with a slice of garlic bread. We also ordered the catfish with dirty rice. Everything came out hot, fresh, and accurate, and overall, everything was delicious! The only thing we would probably change next time is the dirty rice. It was a little too spicy for our taste, so we may opt for regular rice instead or ask if they can make the dirty rice a little less spicy. Tip: Sign up for their emails to stay updated on specials and promotions. During your birthday month, you may also receive a complimentary item and/or dessert, depending on the current promotion. We really enjoyed our visit and the overall atmosphere. I honestly wish they had more locations because I would definitely visit more often. Hopefully, they'll consider opening a location in the West Valley in the future! Overall, great food, great service, and a relaxing Sunday afternoon experience. We'll definitely be back!

What stood out most was how seriously they took my seafood allergy. I was initially nervous about eating at a seafood restaurant, but the manager personally came to our table, asked about my reactions, and assured me that my food would be prepared in a separate area from the seafood. That level of care made me feel comfortable and truly valued as a guest. We also enjoyed the complimentary crackers and bread with a delicious buttery dip. They offer a military discount, too, which was a nice bonus! Between the food, generous portions, great service, and attention to my allergy, this was a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend giving them a try, and we will absolutely be back.

The sandwich had a white fish breaded and fried. The patty was decent without being thick or oily. Good amount of tartar sauce spread on it as well. If the sandwich was any bigger then work afterwards wouldn't have been fun. Oh, also got a delicious dirty martini to pair with the food. Gin served down and it was made to perfection! Including the drink and an $8 tip the total for lunch was $48. Which isn't horrible. Been craving oysters recently so probably will be back for dinner and get an appetizer and dessert too. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!
