    Homemade banana walnut bread. Yummy

I saw someone post about the smash burger here so I wanted to try it. Sun City mom and pop kind of place with a decent amount of seating. We picked a booth and a waitress brought us menus and drinks. I had to show her a picture of the burger because they don't have smash burgers listed on the menu. She told us about the specials board they have up front that we didn't notice and offered several suggestions. I ordered the smash burgers no lettuceor tomato. My husband ordered the #16 omelette that had turkey, bacon, green chilis, tomatoes, and cheese. The omelette came with hash-browns and choice of toast, pancakes, or tortilla. He got the pancakes. We also shared a biscuit to try their homemade jam. My smash burger was delicious. It was juicy, flavorful, and topped with chopped bacon and onions. I would definitely order it again. My side pick was French fries that were nice and crispy. They have a lot of side options. My husband's omelette meal was a lot of food. The pancakes were delicious and the homemade jams were wonderful. The omelette was ok but definitely needed a bit more seasoning. The biscuit was also just ok but the jam definitely bumped it up a notch. This is one of those places that has lots of regulars and the wait staff stops to ask them how they're doing or notices a new hair cut. I love those kind of places because they are rare nowadays. Excellent service and our food came out quickly. We will definitely be back.

I didn't know they had sweet potato fries here, but the waitress let me know and I decided to try them. They're so delicious. Deep fried hot and tender. I asked for a large cup of ranch to come with them and it was super good. I also tried the cheeseburger for the first time and it is a very good and simple burger. The meat tastes really good so you don't need much else on it.

    Our meal on Sunday.

Great prices, decent service, good food, comfortable relaxed setting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place could use a refresh in paint, the wall had crayon on it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was young Gen Z and had no customer service skills. Did the minimum expecting a tip.

I have been to probably six different Diners lately trying to find "The One!" I yelped many diners in this area and stumbled across Hole 'n One. The place is conveniently located in Sun City West near the end of Dysart Rd. They are at the end of the strip mall with plenty of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I found the dining area to be pretty modest, with mostly golf decor and the dining area maximized for seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In reviewing the menu, I do like all of the great selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a lot to choose from. I was there at lunch, but I felt like the Liver and Onions on the dinner menu. So that is what I ordered. They allowed hash browns for my potato and a salad for my side. I thought the salad was fresh and loved the sweet pickle twang of the thousand island dressing. But what won me over was the Liver and Onions. Of all the others that I've had, Hole 'n One had the freshest and best tasting. I ordered a bowl of brown gravy to smother it in and OMG! Everything was really good, the service was friendly and the prices reasonable. What's not to like. Hole 'n One is a drive for me, but I will be back!

This is the perfect spot for breakfast or lunch! The service was excellent, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious, especially the pancake. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit family here!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nothing flashy busy diner, serving breakfast all day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Daily and holidays themed specials. We ordered the works omelette 4/5, and pancakes 4/5.

Love this local favorite, food, service is phenomenal. It's constantly busy so be patient. Locally owned, not a chain so SUPPORT. Our Server, Claudia, is so sweet, though and very attentive.

When we finally got our table, they tried to seat all 11 of us at two small tables that comfortably fit only nine people. I asked to speak with the manager, Kelly , and unfortunately the interaction only made things worse. Before I could fully explain the issue, she immediately responded with an attitude, saying that if we wanted a larger table, we would have to go back outside and wait with no guarantee of how much longer it would be. I asked if a small table could be added so everyone could sit comfortably. She eventually brought one over, but did so with a visible attitude, dropped it off without saying a word, and walked away. The service delays continued throughout the evening. Six people in our party ordered chili, and every bowl arrived completely cold. We notified our waiter, the food runner, and even the hostess, yet nothing was done to address the issue. Most of us simply chose not to eat it. After that, we waited another hour and 15 minutes for our meals. When the food finally arrived, three steaks were undercooked. To make matters worse, my brother became sick after eating and is still dealing with it days later. What was especially frustrating was watching another large party arrive after us, get seated in a larger section that I had specifically asked about, and receive their appetizers and meals before our table--even though we had been there about 20 minutes longer. I've visited this Texas Roadhouse location many times over the years and have never had an experience like this. Between the excessive wait times, cold food, undercooked meals, poor communication, and unprofessional management, this was by far the worst visit I've ever had. Very disappointing.

Finally a good burger in town!…read more Finally got to try Mike's wings, waffles, and burgers today and am pleasantly surprised! We have been in desperate need for a little burger joint/hot wing place for a very long time and even though I don't really do hot wings very much, I can tell you the cheeseburger i got Today was really good. Everything was fresh and the fries with the dry works seasoning are also really good . I'm looking forward to trying some other items. The young lady who took my order was very personable and friendly location was clean and nice looking, and oh yeah, I almost forgot! Kool-Aid !!!!

I was craving chicken gizzards and found this place after much internet searching. Based on their…read moremenu, they looked like just the place I needed for my gizzard fix and I did the 45 minute drive to get here. The thing about gizzards is, they need to be properly prepared before frying. The key is to use slow, moist heat. This can be achieved through stewing, braising, or using a slow cooker. Alternatively, you can tenderize gizzards by gently boiling them before frying. They didn't do any of these. What I got was 50% inedible gristle rubber bands. The breading was specs instead of coating. They were served on a sheet of wax paper on a plate that caused each gizzard to become soggy in the drained grease that pooled instead of being absorbed. The single available bottle of hot sauce in the entire place was really good. I think this place has promise with their 'cooked to order' scratch kitchen, but my meal today was disappointing
