They have a more complete and curated selection of premium imported brands such as Volan, G4, Adictivo and Ocho than much bigger stores like Total Wine and BevMo. They actually do a lot of online business, so this storefront acts as something of a showroom. Their owners are extremely knowledgable about what they carry and what they are waiting on to restock. They mentioned that they took over an older liquor store named JP Liquors, which is a completely different business from theirs. It now resembles a library-like gallery of premium spirits from the floor to the ceiling! In addition to their tequila and mezcal, they also carry bourbon and whiskey. I picked up a bottle of Yamazaki 12 for a good price. Most surprisingly, they have the infamous Empirical Spirits Doritos liqueur in stock. Empirical sold out of it for awhile and had a waiting list for their new batches. If you're looking for a rare bottle, chances are that these guys can help you find it for a fair price. It is a real gem if you are a fan of tequilas and mezcal.

At $299.99 it was a screaming deal for a 24 year age statement whiskey! Bottled at 56.7% ABV this sherry aged single malt is the real deal! The item itself is quite limited and each bottle is numbered to let you know how many were made that year. He only had one left and it had been long discontinued so I was very glad I got my hands on it. It seemed like the best value for the price among the rarer options he had available. I really, really appreciate the fact that he did not mark it up a penny (BevMo had it for $299.99 many years back) even though he totally could have. This tells me right off the bat he is an extremely straight-shooter kind of business owner who cares about longtime customer value and retention rather than trying to make a quick buck or drive "hype" up. As a delivery driver, time and efficiency are critical to my work. During my visit, I experienced unnecessary delays that directly impacted my ability to complete my delivery on time. Items were difficult to locate, and instead of receiving helpful assistance, the process felt intentionally slowed down. It created the impression that items were being withheld or not clearly made accessible, which forced me to spend excessive time searching. This kind of delay can negatively affect delivery performance metrics, lead to penalties, and ultimately impact income. Whether intentional or not, this type of experience is unacceptable for delivery drivers who rely on cooperation from store staff to do their jobs effectively. There needs to be a greater level of professionalism, urgency, and support when assisting drivers. I strongly encourage management to review this situation and ensure that delivery drivers are treated with respect and efficiency moving forward.

I had been gifted a small (34 bottle) Vinotemp cooler when I moved into my new home a few years ago. This past spring it began to have some difficulty with the temperature being too high. It wound up being an issue with the condenser fan malfunctioning and overheating which raised the temperature inside the cooler. I realized I had a serious problem and needed to move the few bottles I had started to collect. I did a quick search for local storage and found Grand Cru Vault. I needed a temperature controlled facility to keep my bottles and was pleasantly surprised with the offering. Paul was very responsive and enthusiastic. He came directly to me to pick up the bottles I needed to be stored and took them to his facility. From there he inventoried and stored them for a few months. He also provided me with market insights about my wines turned out to be very informative. Paul also offered me some similar wines to my bottles at a discounted rate. I showed the available wines to my Dad who is a wine buff himself and he said they were legitimately good wines worth investing in. At this point though I had to decline because I'm not quite ready to commit to growing my collection just yet. But when I'm ready I sure know where I'll go to look. I kept my wines with Grand Cru Vault for about 4 months before taking them back. When I was ready, Paul again, was very accomodating and delivered the wines back to my home. At this point, I had some of his insight about the wines I had and felt a little more confident in what I was holding. I reccommend doing business with Grand Cru Vault if you need storage and/or are looking for market insights and looking for good deals on investment grade wines.
