I love this place. The menu is online so that's super nice that you can look at everything. It's not really a sit down place. There's a few tables. I have always done carry out and gone home to eat. They always ask if you need utensils or not which I think is very considerate. It usually takes about 15 minutes for your food to be ready which I don't think is bad at all. The food is super good. I am the type of person that always gets the same thing but coming here I've slowly tries other things and haven't found anything I don't like yet. You pull up into this strip mall which kinda looks abandoned. There's not much going on. But don't let that fool you. This place is great. Good service. The Cambodian noodles were good, I've never had them before. The cream cheese wontons were sweet, tasted like a thin cream cheese frosting inside instead of cream cheese. The orange chicken, instead of being saucy and sweet it tasted like a mouthful of powdered salt... very dry, salty & dehydrating. Egg foo young was in an interesting shape and already coated in gravy, very salty as well. I'm thinking they just heavily coat everything in MSG... ?? didn't satisfy my orange chicken craving and now I'm just thirstier than a fish out of water. As much as I love their food I rarely go here to eat. Before they took their whole family to Cambodia they started raising prices and have continued since they came back. Had been meaning to try this restaurant even though there are two Asian restaurants closer to where I live. Was very pleased with our choices - the food was ready when they said it would be, efficient takeout process and delicious. First impression walking in was how dirty it was. Usually I would have turned around and left but we had heard that the food was really good. We had the Mongolian Beef, pork fried rice and egg rolls. All were very tasty and we thought this is great, until later that night. Both my wife and I had upset stomachs and spent most of the next day running to the restroom. Delivery times were long so I opted to pick up my order instead. They overestimated the cook time and by the time I got my food home it had been stewing in sauce and was completely soggy. The honey walnut shrimp is in a liquid that is white and milky and has almost no flavor- I was expecting crisp batted with sticky sauce and this was more like breaded shrimp in a soup. Horrible texture and of the few pieces I did manage to eat it was 80% batter and hardly any shrimp. For $15 I expected much better. The #7 (general tso's combo with egg roll) was amazing! Crisp chicken with sticky sauce just like I hoped the shrimp would be. The egg roll is long and skinny, and while it too could have been crispier it had good flavor. The fried rice is so good-dark, with bean sprouts! This was only $8 and way way better than the honey walnut shrimp. In the last we have also had the sesame chicken and lo mein from here and we have loved both. This place is really good, probably the best in the area that we've tried. We will be back, but will not be ordering the shrimp again. read more

"Unassuming" is the perfect word for the place. "Amazing" is the perfect word for the food! Of special note is the beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli - we cannot figure out what is in the sauce, but it is the BEST we've ever had. The fried rice is also super tasty and flavorful - dark brown, but not over-soy sauced. I'm almost always a sesame chicken girl, but the breaded dishes are actually pretty "meh" here. First time ordering - wanted to order via Door Dash but couldn't get Egg Foo Young from the Door Dash menu. Decided to do pick up and we were so glad we did. The Egg Foo Young was amazing as was the all of the other food we ordered (Angkor Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Cream Cheese Wontons & Pot Stickers). We were a group of 13, we got the tables joined together. It is a small place, enough for about 15 people. The food here is simply amazing. We tried several dishes, veg and non veg, everyone loved it! The staff was friendly. They got the orders out pretty quick. Their portion sizes are quite big. Haven't found a close by place that I was willing to try, until today...a couple people I knew tried it, so I stopped and ordered on my way home from work. Place was empty and very clean. I picked up a menu and made my choices, gal at the counter was very nice. Place was quiet inside just a few tables, but the phone was ringing off the hook the whole time I was there, they deliver, but not too much out of the way for me to stop on my way home. Tried the spring rolls, very tasty, sauce at Lemongrass is a bit tastier. Also ordered some beef chop suey, pork fried rice and pork egg foo young. All very good. The egg foo young had a dark rich gravy, very moist and flavorful. The fried rice was also moist and flavorful. The beef chop suey had broccoli, onions and nice slices of beef in it. All dishes were very good, I am glad to have a new go to place close to home. Next time I will try something different, because I can! read more

Saw all the good reviews on Yelp, decided to try. I ordered lo mien, came with no noodle. Boyfriend had the pad Thai. The next day I started bloating, and my boyfriend threw up for two days straight. Then mine started. Got a lot worse, two weeks of sickness and fever. Went to urgent care, got bacterial gastroenteritis. From bad food. Never have we been so sick in our lives. Doctor said that a couple people around the area have eaten the same and came in with the same thing. I would hate to see anyone get sick like this. Never have I ever been so afraid to eat at a place. The only other thing we had consumed before this was I ate a muffin and a small coffee for breakfast... A nice surprise while passing through. The staff was friendly and super excited about their upcoming, month long trip to Cambodia at the end of October. My son loved his shrimp in lobster sauce; we did, too, and kept stealing some when he wasn't looking. The egg drop soup was classic (size small could feed an army), and the sour soup, which only comes in one size, was even huger and also super delicious! I went to this restaurant on a weekday during lunch. I was surprised that I was the only person in the establishment during this time. When I entered the restaurant, there was no one in the front to greet me. I could tell that there was a few employees in the back room/kitchen. One person saw me in the front, and it still took a few minutes to have somebody come up front to seat me. It would have been nice that to not wait around in the front wondering if I would get any service. The restaurant has about 3-4 tables enough to seat four people. I would not expect to bring any party larger than 6 as the restaurant is not that large. Once seated, the waitress was very polite and checked on me regularly. The food was brought out quickly from the kitchen and I thought it was fair. I ordered off the Cambodian menu (which is a lot smaller than I anticipated for a restaurant with a Cambodian name; there was about 10 items). My lunch consisted of the pork egg rolls and Beef Lok Lak. The pork egg rolls were delicious, but the Beef Lok Lak was lacking in taste. The beef was overcooked. The lemon pepper sauce that also comes with this dish was too thick with salt and pepper. read more

Very please with my entree and the chicken teriyaki skewers, they had great flavor, without being overwhelming with the teriyaki taste. Grilled nicely. We get Angkor delivered to our work, the food is always piping hot and delivery is always very fast. I have had the lo mein & chow mein both are tasty dishes. The food is very flavorful and on delivery arrives wrapped so it stays nice and hot which I like. The size of the dishes are enough to fill you up and they also give you free eggrolls or soda on a delivery over $25. The eggrolls are also pretty tasty. I'm not huge into chinese cuisine but if you are hungry and like Chinese Angkore will defiantly hit the spot. One thing they need to work on is they don't also answer the phone during the middle of a work week. If you like chinese cuisine, give Angkor a try, it's pretty good! read more

This little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant is a Coon Rapids gem. The food here is absolutely amazing and the egg rolls are to die for. I strongly recommend the house fried rice. We've been coming here for over a year, right after they opened. This is the best Chinese/Cambodian food in the area. And we've been here several times. The home made won-ton soup beats any other place -- even places in the Cities'. We get our dishes extra spicey, and they are happy to replace any protein with tofu (for the wife).
