This is one of the best Bakery's in Riverside. Great family who's runs it. Friendly, clean and the bread is fresh. I ate a warm concha with coffee on the hood of my car and it made my whole week. Love this place.

This hidden gem is located on Cherry Hills Blvd. & Bradley Rd. in the Sun City Shopping Center, towards the back next to Sun City Family Restaurant with plenty of parking. They have a variety of Mexican, sweet-style baked goodies (Pan Dulce) to choose from such as 'Conchitas, Empanadas, Sugar Cookies, etc'. I got to try their slice of 'Pastel de 3 Leches'. Everything tastes amazing here and complements perfectly with my coffee. I like that their pastries are pre-packed for customers to grab. The owners are extremely welcoming, providing great customer service and making sure that their pastries are fresh. It's always a positive experience at this small, family-owned bakery and recommend it.

Custard filling was to die for

I've known Anguiano's Bakery for a couple of years now, and it's truly one of those hidden gems that never disappoints. Whether I've stopped by their shop in Sun City or picked up their pastries from local festivals, the quality has always been consistent and incredible. On my most recent visit, I picked up a little variety -- from their sugar-coated pastries to their cream and pineapple-filled empanadas -- and every single bite reminded me why I keep coming back. The cream-filled empanada was pure comfort. The crust was golden and slightly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, with a silky, rich cream that wasn't overly sweet -- just perfectly balanced. The pineapple jam empanada was bright, fragrant, and fruity, with that tangy-sweet flavor that pairs beautifully with the buttery dough. You can taste the care and tradition in everything they make. Even the packaging was neat and thoughtful -- each pastry sealed fresh, ready to enjoy later (though honestly, they never last long once you start eating them). Anguiano's isn't just a bakery -- it's a little taste of home. The textures, the aromas, the flavors... all remind me of classic Mexican pan dulce done right. From their friendly service to their perfectly baked goods, you can tell this place takes pride in their craft. If you're anywhere near Sun City or Menifee, go here. Whether it's for your morning coffee companion, a sweet after-dinner treat, or a dozen pastries to share with family, this bakery is the real deal. Highly recommend the empanadas, conchas!

It was my first time at this place and we went there 30 mins before closing time. I got conchas and vanilla custard filled pastries. They tasted great. The shop was clean and organized. The owner was very sweet. We ate our pastries at the coffee shop around the corner since they didn't have drinks.

Owner Adrian is AWESOME and soooo friendly!! He hooked us up! =)

This cute Mexican bakery is such a find!! Stopped in after lunch around the corner and was on a mission for some Mexican cheesecake. Sadly, they didn't have any, but they sure did have many other things that I picked up, lol! Adrian, the owner, is so welcoming and very friendly! He was showing us what he had left for the day, as some things tend to sell out early in the morning. You'll find all kinds of yummy treasures here, and my favorite has to be the little rolls that have cream cheese in them. I wasn't gonna say it, but Adrian himself said that they're similar to Porto's cheese rolls, lol!! YASSSSSSS!! I also picked up some caramel and pineapple filled empanadas. They're big, too. Every empanada I see these days is so freakin' small! They also have pretty coconut gelatin desserts in the refrigerator. I wanted the blue one, but... I'm just not a coconut fan. =( I appreciate this small business for their efforts in keeping prices low, especially in today's economy. I spent just $10.50 on a good amount of yummies, and he gave each of us a freebie! Thank you so much, Adrian!! We appreciate you, and I am looking forward to picking up more baked goods soon. Stop by if you find yourself traveling on the 215. It's conveniently located off the McCall exit. You're welcome! ;)

This is truly a Mom and Pop shop, small business, Latin & locally owned, that must be preserved. So many of these treasures go under and this family works hard to bring authentic pan dulce to the Menifee/Sun City area and I hope they're here for the long run!! We've been in a few times and they do run out quick but if you message them they take special orders. Like today, I picked up heart shaped conchas for Valentine's Day that I ordered the day before and they were fresh and ready at the exact time I was told they would be! Thanks to the Anguiano's Family Panadería!

Third time for me was a charm! Finally stopped in this early morning and grabbed a good variety of their offerings. Adrian was there and was welcoming! Everything suggested was delicious! Concha was still warm and perfectly soft :) Thank you again and i'll be sure to be back for the tamales!!!

This review is based on a personalized cake made towards the end of September 2019…read more Having a themed cake was honestly a last minute idea. I figured it would add a nice touch to our daughter's 6th birthday party and it was also a surprise for her. My daughter doesn't like cake, believe it or not, but she tried and really enjoyed this cake! I found Melanie here and immediately contacted her. I let her know the party was literally a week away. With all transparency, she let me know she was pretty busy, but would try to squeeze us in. I emailed her two photos of my vision for the Aladdin themed cake and Melanie ended up creating a gorgeous cake! Melanie was in constant communication about the details of the cake, which I appreciated. She also called me the day before the party and suggested we bring a serrated knife in order to cut optimal cake slices. She delivered the cake on time to Aerosports Trampoline Park in Murrieta. She left me written cutting directions, but as a courtesy, before she left she also explained how we should cut the cake for our guests. Initially, I was looking for a one layered cake to feed 25-30 people. In order for the cake to have a WOW factor Melanie suggested two layers (same cost, as cost is mostly determined by slice per person). Both layers of the cake were chocolate. The cake pictured was $320. Everyone raved about the design and taste, so it was well worth it. More importantly, my daughter was pleasantly surprised. Overall, Melanie is AMAZING! Melanie was professional from start to finish and her response time was almost immediate regardless of the time of day or night. She took into account my ideas, mixed that with her expertise, sprinkled lots of patience and delivered pure magic! I highly recommend Melanie for your unique baking needs.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Batter Up Bakery…read more I'm a wedding planner with over a decade of experience, and I have truly seen it all... but this was a first. Due to a major mistake on the venue's end, our couple's wedding cake was served to a different event the day before the wedding. Yes... the entire cake was gone. We were left without a cake for the bride and groom to cut on their wedding day, and with very little time to fix it. Enter Batter Up Bakery... and they absolutely saved the day. From the very first interaction, Samantha at the front counter was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Selena, the decorator, did an unbelievable job recreating the cake exactly as originally designed. And Jim, the owner who handled delivery, was professional, communicative, and ensured everything arrived perfectly. They stepped in quickly and created a replacement cake that looked identical to what the couple originally ordered. Not only was it visually perfect, but it was also delicious. The entire process was seamless and handled with such care. The most incredible part? The bride had no idea anything had gone wrong until after the wedding. Everything felt flawless, and that is exactly what you hope for as a planner. In all my years in the industry, I have never experienced customer service like this. Batter Up turned what could have been a disaster into a perfect moment. I will be recommending them to every single one of my future couples. Truly phenomenal service, talent, and professionalism.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional service!…read more So I walked into this Nothing Bundt Cakes just now, and the cashier lady said, "Hello, how can I help you?" I told her I'd like to order one of the cakes below. She asked, "What flavor would you like?" while peeking around the glass at me, and I said, "Well, let me see... oh, you have peach cobbler, that sounds interesting." Around this moment within seconds, another lady walks up behind me while I was choosing my other flavors and tells the cashier she wants to order two peach cobblers. Instead of telling her to wait, the cashier just starts to service her! Meanwhile, I'm left standing there as they continue to talk at the register. At first, I was going to wait, but then I realized I just got cut in line because neither of them wanted to wait five seconds for me to choose my flavors. How rude. There was also already another client in there ahead of me, probably waiting for her pre-order cake. As I took a step back and looked around, even she gave me a look like she completely understood what just happened. That was what made me officially decide to leave. I was going to buy at least a few cakes for myself and my kids, but instead, I walked out. I will not reward this terrible service.
