That doesn't really affect service however as they're quite attentive when called for. We ordered the salted fish and chicken fried rice, and the medium bbq platter with char sound soy sauce chicken. All very delicious! The only thing is that they can bit on the pricier side with $20 for the fried rice and $30 for the bbq plate. Overall, I thought grand cafe definitely scratched our itch for Cantonese style dining experience. The rice and noodle dishes were loaded with delicious toppings, and the taste was on point. The BBQ pork and the beef filet dish were both fantastic. The meat/fat ratio of the BBQ pork was just right, and the beef filet cubes were tender and flavorful. The porridge was just okay. My mom's version still reigns supreme. Service we received was very good. Our server was very friendly and gave us helpful suggestions. She did forget our iced water, but I am willing to overlook that. I got a chance the chat with staff before we left, they were all very genuine and friendly people. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience here. The food was authentic and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
