I happened to visit this magical place today for a child's birthday party. My visit today had a profound impact on my life, and that's not an exaggeration. I have been in a bit of a funk for the past several days due to an upsetting issue that I have been dealing with. I have been struggling to get my own energetic vibration back up to a comfortable place and maintain it there. As such, I have been walking around feeling like a character from an antidepressant commercial with a dark, rainy cloud hanging over my head. Every now and then, the rain would stop for a while, but the cloud persisted. Until today. I experienced true bliss every moment that I spent at Farmer Jen's farm today. I pet the most docile llamas with the beautifully soulful eyes. I painted with an adorable, super chill bearded dragon named Sunshine relaxing on the table. I pet beautiful corn snakes, helped children tie knots for a craft, made my own craft (which involved painting chickens on rocks while surrounded by the unusually friendly chickens), and watched my kids joyfully paint and play. It was almost as though we stepped into a movie, complete with background music from a perfectly curated playlist. One of the partygoers was crying about their artwork not turning out the way they wanted, and Farmer Jen jumped in and beautifully helped them (and literally turned their frown upside down with her compassionate words and actions). My blues seem to have vanished after visiting this idyllic farm and spending time with these strangely mellow creatures. It struck me that Farmer Jen never once expressed concern over kids interacting with her animals. She is super mellow and happy, and her calm and content energy seems to permeate her entire property and all of the creatures there. I'm so grateful for today's experience, and can't wait to go back there again someday. read more

This place is awesome. The owner is extremely energetic with both my little girls. Animals are super friendly and there is so many fun activities around this whole area. There's also a spot where the animals are not in so yhe kids can play with the toys and sand. 100% would recommend and we will be returning. We went to Animal art farm on 8th Dec 2024 with my family. My young kids, mother in law, brother in law and his kids and spent one of the most memorable times there. Gen is a great host, she's warm and accomodating ( we were late to reach and over stayed a bit!). Her farm has a great vibe to it. Thanks to the nice music she has going on along with the lovely animals we get to pet. My personal favourite were the alpaca and bruce the python. Do yourself and the kids a favor and visit this place - you won't regret it. read more

Wow! We just had my daughter's seventh birthday at the Animal Art Farm and it was amazing! We had our family there, grandma and grandpa, and one friend and her mother. We did a birdhouse craft which Farmer Jen lead us through - giving us encouragement all the way through. Supplies are given individually, our temperatures checked at the door and plenty of access to hand sanitizer. There are about 21 goats on the property, a few alpacas, lots of chickens, ducks, a bunny, a horse, bearded dragon and I'm sure more I didn't see. Farmer Jen was very responsive setting up our private party details, and warm and friendly with the kids even though they were running around a bit excited from the animals. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment for your private party or to just visit on the weekend for a craft project and some animal time. We will be back! Thank you Farmer Jen! read more

Best Mother's Day ever!!! This is my new favorite place. The private group option was perfect for our family. Both my sons are autistic and having the place to ourselves was a life saver. Farmer Jen is so knowledgeable and patient. All the animals are so happy and healthy. We could have spent the whole time just feeding and loving all the different critters! The felt craft was so fun, I have already scheduled our next trip and there will be many more to come! read more

Absolutely loved this place! Had a bday party for my 2 yo and 11yo. So we had a range of kids from 2-14. Everyone including the parents and grandparents loved it. Everyone was super involved in all Activities and its so interactive that time just flies by. We booked that place for 3 hours and not a min of boredom. I wish i could celebrate my bday there. Quiet a refreshing venue after so many jumpy house parties. read more

We just celebrated our daughter's 8th birthday at the Animal Art Farm and had an amazing experience. Farmer Jen is simply the best. She's warm, professional, kind and great with people of all ages. The kids had a blast and I'm sure the adults did too. It was 89 degrees today but it was perfect at the farm because there was so much shade and nice seating everywhere. The farm is well kept and super cute. She has a nice variety of animals. The animals all looked so happy and well cared for. I can't thank Jen enough for making my daughters birthday so successful and special. Will surely recommend this place and can't wait to book another visit in the near future! read more

I had them for party full of 2 years olds at a school last week and the kids loved it. The teachers and the school are still talking about it to this day. Jean was extremely nice and very professional and you can definitely tell the animals were well loved. The animals were super adorable between the bunnies, goats, chickens, lizard, and yes even the toad, oh and lets not forget the peacock that I don't even think knows its a peacock...how may peacocks you know that likes to ride shot gun in the front seat with a seat belt on....hahaaa gotta love it Thank you so much pony up....we will definitely use them again read more

We held a birthday party today at the Animal Art Farm and it was a phenomenal experience! At were squirted with saniter for safety and it was easy to maintain 6-8 foot distance. Farmer Jen has created a beautiful little haven perfect for animal play, well organized art expression and all around fun! She is a generous, kind and very personable artist and farmer who met the needs of all our guests from 6 months to 93 years old. We cannot wait to return for a family art event! read more

Responsive. Prompt. Treat their little animals as if they were their own children. Need I say more? Ok I will... The unthinkable: We had hired Pony Up! to bring in a baby farm animal petting zoo for a VERY last minute event my workplace (imagine a pen of baby chickens, goats, bunnies and ducklings) Jen (I think she is the owner) was great to work with. She asked a lot of questions about the space where we wanted to have the petting zoo and brought the perfect mix of animals with her. (think: smaller animals, smaller - well you get where I'm going) Now I wouldn't recommend this unless you have a hard surface floor and lot's of room, but to be honest, aside of the sawdust, it was a pretty clean experience all around. She was super prompt. Maybe even early?! Her animals were cute, clean and well cared for. P.S. And the adults went bananas over the baby animals! I'd definitely work with her again - if and when I'm in need of a Pony Party. :) read more

I had Pony Up for my daughters 5 year old birthday as she loves animals. Pony Up was amazing, they came on time, set up , and cleaned up after as well. The was a lot variety of a animals including a peacock, hens, roosters, bunny's,goat and ducks. She also brought in insects the kids could pet and feel if they wanted to. The lady was very friendly with the children and explained to them how the animals lived, what kind they were and answered all the kids inquisitive questions :) I had about 15 plus kids and they all loved it !!! I contact them for the school party of hundred kids and everybody loved it. I was amazed by the variety of animals Jean bring with her. She was very well organized and prepared to accommodate all the kids by dividing them into groups. I The animals were very cute and adorable. We had an amazing experience with Pony Up. They saved us from a total disaster. We had made arrangements with another party event company which was not responding to our phone calls, emails and text messages so the day of the event in the morning I called Jen and she really took upon herself in finding a way to help us...and she did an AMAZING Job. She got us a petting zoo for our kids birthday within hours. The lady that came to the event was super polite and very friendly with the kids. Our guests LOVED IT!!!! This is one of those reviews that is hard to write because Pony Up! is so good that I worry they will become too popular for us to use and afford in the future! I can't think of any way they could be better. They showed up on time, had a wonderful attitude, the animals were fantastic, Jen and her assistant were great with the kids, they even constantly cleaned any animal by-products up as soon as they hit the ground. Everyone who came to our 3 year old's birthday party just loved it. This was a perfect event, 1 million times better than a bouncy house. I'd STRONGLY recommend Pony Up! If there was a 6-star option they would have gotten it. read more

We had them come to our place for our daughter's fourth birthday party. They were a big hit with the kids and the adults. They did an excellent job of cleaning up continuously during the event and left no trace (other than the fact that our lawn was a bit trimmed by the goats). I really liked them over some other petting zoos I've seen because they treated their animals very well and at the same time were very accommodating of the children, striking a good balance between their animals' safety and not stressing out the children with too many rules. I booked Pony Up for my son's 2nd birthday party recently and had great experience. I signed up online, and got a prompt response. Jen showed up earlier to start setup and she brought lots of animals. All kids had a great time petting the animals and older kids had wonderful time holding the snakes! Even adults like it and were standing up. We had it in our backyard which kept clean and neat and you could not tell if we had a petting zoo there. The price is great and the service is wonderful. I would do it more and more. All guests loved the party! read more

I just had my son's 3rd birthday party on Saturday. We had the petting zoo and pony come to the house. The kids absolutely loved all the animals at the petting zoo. There were such a variety of cute little animals, more than I expected. The pony rides were also a hit with the kids. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. After having no luck finding a petting zoo for a summer school I was working at, I stumbled upon "Pony Up!" and was glad I did. I had never had a petting zoo before and I wanted to create an enrichment experience for the 70+ students who ranged from 5 to 13 years in age. The owner, Jen Van Deren, was responsive and helpful as I made arrangements and asked questions. Despite the last minute request, she was able to send over a dozen animals: chickens, ducks, rabbits, chicks, and a peacock. They all arrived on time and with little setup time; a major feat considering our appointment was in the early morning and they had to travel from Gilroy all the way to Atherton. On top of this, unexpected construction and a baseball camp all made the setting "less than ideal." Despite all these obstacles, the pet handler was punctual, efficient and friendly. A great experience all around and one I hope to continue next year. read more

Jen and her daughter brought baby goats, chickens, snakes, iguana, peacock and more to my son's 7th birthday party this past weekend. It was over the top! The kids-- and parents-- were blown away. Jen is warm and friendly with the kids and when she left, our lawn was cleaner than when she got there! The only flaw is how do I ever top this?
