Karen, the woman who owns the company, was tenacious in her pursue of an gopher who was tearing up a section of my new lawn. Over a two month period, she kept setting new traps, but the gopher was clever and just dug new tunnel around the traps. Finally yesterday the gopher was caught. It turned out to be a small pocket gopher who was half the size of a normal gopher. Her price for all the time she spent trying to capture my elusive gopher was more than reasonable. This is my 2nd time service call to "Animal Trapping Services" (1st service call was in March/2023). The main purpose is mainly to check/fix slide 2-story 25 years tile roof top and gutters cleaning to prep for the upcoming raining and winter season. The gutters' cleaning is our annual event due to many big trees surrounding. Previously I used other people/company to handle the work, however always unhappy and not satisfied at the end, and still had leaves clogged in drainpipes and water overflow down the gutters, it was an awful, terrible and scary experiences. Robert works on the 2 story tile roof top carefully and thoroughly without any fears, so brave! He is the real expert of the roofing (actually he's very knowledgeable on many things and a very hands-on person). He even reviewed and checked the animal seals from March/2023 service to ensure everything's ok. In addition, Karen also reviewed my cage setup and results, shared her experience to think as the animal; further improve the cage & traps setup and gave me 1 of her cage to improve the efficiency. We hired Animal Trapping Services to do a full inspection of our workplace (a historic century old home) for rodents in the attic and for a more urgent problem of a large animal digging up behind our garden shed. I got another quote from another service but they were charging way too much. This family owned company was much more affordable for us and they have great reviews. Karen, the office manager was friendly and wonderful to work with. Anthony and Will came to our workplace on time and took a look around our premises. They gave us recommendations about how we might best avoid rodents. Next they checked our large hole behind the garden shed and immediately set up 2 traps to capture what was digging and live down underneath our garden shed. Both Anthony and Will were very friendly and knowledgeable. We caught an opposum, a squirrel, 2 skunks and a cat (it was released!) This took around 2 weeks. Each morning that we called with an update and needed the traps reset or rebaited, they came out the same day. Once they thought the issue was solved, Anthony shoveled back the dirt and covered the hole. Karen said they have. A 30 day guarantee, so if anything happens to the hole and it gets re-dug, they will come out again. If we ever have another animal issue at our workplace, I won't hesitate to call them again. read more

In defense of the one star review. Iam a new customer of this fine company. I got their number a few weeks ago from the pest company who has had my service for years. Karen and wil are absolutely the finest ppl in trappings yet. In two and a half they have been to my home almost daily. They pick up the animals, reset and replace cages and remove the 6 racoons almost every day and 2 possum. I resent the person who gave them one star it wasn't an honest review in my opinion. Please note, as you can see iam not computer literate, I just think it is unfair to ruin a business when I bet they were never customers. Yes I want you to share it. Karen is awesome. We found out that we had two skunks who had created a burrow under the corner of the back of our garage and were living there. Yikes! We called Animal Trapping Services, and Karen came out with her traps. She brought two traps. The first night, we captured 1 skunk and the second night we captured an opossum (which had been roaming the neighborhood - we had seen him). After that, it appears the other skunk decided to go elsewhere, and Karen gave us advice for how to board up the holes on our fence (where the critters were coming in), how to fill in the burrow, and even gave advice about rats and other animals. We had a litter of raccoons living in our attic. We called Animal Trapping Services to come out and help us. The person that I spoke with on the phone was wonderful. She was very helpful, friendly, and had a couple of options that we could try. She was able to use google maps and review the layout of my property to tailor her suggestions on how the raccoons were getting in and how they could be trapped. She also gave me prices for the different options over the phone. Will came by a couple of days later to evict the raccoons without trapping. Trapping would have been more difficult in our situation. Will was friendly and helpful. Within 24 hours, the animals were gone! We paid later in the day over the phone via credit card. The price was reasonable/fair. We had squirrels under our tile roof. Apparently, tile roofs are an invitation for animals to nest there. Anthony was able to come for inspection extremely fast (and on a Saturday). We had critters everywhere around our Los Altos home - chewing on roof tiles, patio furniture and our young plants, some of which were never destroyed before. And, because of nearby construction we suddenly had gophers and moles. We tried everything, then called ATS. Within 10 days we had reduced the squirrels by 80% and also trapped 4 rats and 2 skunks, one of which was trapped near our patio door which we occasionally left open. Yes, it seems upsetting to some people to destroy these animals, but the ones left are happier and have more of their natural foods to eat. A win win for all. I called this service in a panic ,because didn't know if the snake in the yard was a rattlesnake, or garter snake. This was on a Saturday , and they were completely booked. The man on the phone was extremely helpful. i sent him some pictures , and he immediately called me back with the information, it was not a rattlesnake. I received a recommendation for this company from another that was not available. I had heard roof rats. I was told the employee would go into the attic, crawl space and check around the house. Based on my conversation with the scheduler, I was expecting an estimate for repairing the detected entry points and an estimate for setting and clearing traps.
