Every time I come here, I'm reminded why I don't come here. I waited 10 minutes after placing my order to get a dozen bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese. The lady who manages the place acts like you're wasting her time by trying to order food there. All I can say is that it's a good thing the food is so good because the service is absolutely atrocious every single time I go in. They are very nice young ladies but they do not pay attention. I ordered a chicken salad on a plain bagel and specifically said put nothing else... No lettuce no tomatoes no other toppings - just chicken salad. There was not another person in the place before I got there nor when I left. Not only did it take 10 minutes to put chicken salad on a bagel (with four people working) but when I went to eat it, guess what was there? Lettuce! Other toppings! I was the only customer! How did it all go so very wrong? That's said... I'm pretty stubborn so that's why I keep coming back. The food is good. I loved Ani's bagels when I was introduced to them a couple years ago, but hadn't been back in a while. We decided to swing through this morning to see if they were still as good as they used to be-- and we were not disappointed! They are still sooo good! We ordered a couple of the "everything" variety, a couple onion, a cinnamon French toast flavor and my former favorite- jalapeño cheddar. We also purchased a small tub of their homemade cream cheese (which is amazingly good, by the way!)... The jalapeño cheddar is delicious; with the small bits of jalapeño in each bite, it has just the right amount of heat. Everyone else loved their selections as well. They have a cute location, situated in next to Churchhill's Garden Center- although they have a few tables and chairs inside, I would definitely recommend getting them "to go" if you're buying for a group... We ordered ours to take home-- and the insides were still warm despite a 20 min drive home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a fresh bagel in the Seacoast area! read more

I knew we had made a mistake the moment we walked in, but hey, you have to try something to know if it really sucks, right? A miniature version of Me&Ollie's. It has all if the same appeal; grungy, fly infested, slow, overpriced, and gross. We ordered two bagels toasted with cream cheese on the side. The bagels were cut lopsided for $6. If you just bought the bagels without them toasting it they were only $1.34 a piece. I don't understand why people enjoy this place. Smelled absolutely lovely when I walked in just before noon! I was immediately greeted and let know about fresh cookies just out of the oven. They continually checked on me while I ogled the menu hungrily. I ordered the Churchill's turkey sub cheddar, sub sourdough & it came lightly toasted. Mixed greens & tomatoes on the sandwich were hearty & very flavorful as well as the pesto! Sandwich was ready quickly and I had a medium coffee as well..$11 total which I think is very reasonable. If you want a homemade Bagel Ani's is where you need to be . They are light and fluffy not heavy. They are also covered in whatever flavor you chose on Both side not just on top. There cream cheeses are also homemade and delicious. If they are sold out of your favorite bagel you can ask them to make you one fresh and they will . So not worries bagel loves . read more

First time at Ani's and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed it! The service was quick and easy. Got in and out within 10 minutes. Ani's has spoiled me and now other bagels just don't measure up! These are the only bagels I've had in seacoast NH/ME area that can rival NY bagels. They serve Carpe Diem brand coffee and it's always fresh. The focaccia bagels and the homemade veggie cream cheese are delicious. I don't know why others are bashing the service in previous reviews - I'm in almost every weekend and the service is always friendly and prompt. pretty good service, they were pretty popular, so they only had about three bagel selections. i really like the atmosphere though, i got egg and cheese sesame bagel, and hot chocolate. the hot chocolate needed a mix and it was pretty milky, but i think it was just a new girl who needed some experience on her belt. overall, i really liked it and commend the workers for dealing with rude costumers with pride, and for the busy and crowded place with grace. thank you, have a nice day! read more
