Anjo's Pizza & Pasta, what a treat! This small Italian restaurant definitely gets it right. We ordered a 10 inch pizza(broadway), spaghetti and meatballs, the amaretto tiramisu and a cookie. It was less than forty dollars including tax. We ordered the food to go over the phone. It was easy, quick, and all of our questions were answered with patience. My spaghetti and meatballs were delicious! The meatballs are yum. I am a tiramisu fan. I also enjoy amaretto. The combo was a good one. My only wish was that the delicious cookie crumbs on top were put on to order. I lost the taste and texture of them because they had been refrigerated. My husband loved his pizza! He said the crust was fantastic. The service was excellent. I asked for no cheese on my spaghetti and meatballs. There was not a curd of cheese to be seen. And their garlic bread apparently comes with cheese Juliet who packed our order made me garlic bread without cheese. I greatly appreciated it! Our order was ready on time. The restaurant is in a large business center. There is parking in front of the restaurant available. They are open every day except Monday and for dinner hours. read more

Where to start. We went here after another local place was getting ready to close at our arrival and we didn't want to force them to stay open for us, so we yelped and found Anjo's. When we arrived we were greeted warmly, and we placed our order, three 10 inch pizzas. The carnivore, the chicken bacon ranch, and kids cheese pizza were all excellent. The owner even checked in on us, and when he heard my daughter's team had just won her cheer comp, he threw in dessert, super sweet. Sadly, we are not from here so I don't know when we will be able to return, but when we are in Charleston again, Anjo's has a loyal repeat customer. Ignore any negative comments, this place is legit and worth every penny. read more

The pizza was decently done. It was a tad over crisped but the crust was cooked well and not at all soggy between the cheese and tomato sauce layer given this is a deep dish style pizza. The toppings seemed of good quality. The dough was quite salty which is my biggest critique. The staff is professional and made our order with no issues which isn't often the case these days. We also had an order of mozzarella sticks which were fantastic. Not the best pizza I've had but given options in the area, it's worth a stop. Next time I'll try a standard pie. read more

Huge shoutout to Anjo's Pizza for going above and beyond for our family tonight. I had placed an order for pickup, but we had an unexpected situation with our little one and couldn't make it on time. They called to check in and when I explained what was going on, the owner personally delivered our food to our doorstep--completely unprompted and free of charge--just because he could tell we had our hands full. The food speaks for itself (delicious!), but the kindness was what truly stood out. Thank you, Anjo's, for being the kind of place that really cares. We'll be loyal customers for a long time. Fantastic! I cannot express the joy I feel finally having a real deal pizza spot in Mt. Pleasant! This is the absolute best I've found in all of Charleston. An unassuming spot recommended by a friend that is a pizza junkie and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The sauce is perfect, but the crust is the star. FINALLY-- some GOOD pizza in Mt. P! I guilty -- I ate a whole pie by myself in two days because this pizza is just that good! Wings were decent and I may get them plain next time but the pizza - WOW. Do yourself a favor, order online and be sure to wait the suggested wait time. This Pizza is soooo good. I have no words how rude these people were!! First on the phone she was trying to rush me. I said the first item and he replied "Is that it?" Not giving me a chance to add an item. When we arrived they missed an item because she was to busy being rude! When they realized they missed the lady from the kitchen yelled it will be at least 20 mins!!! WHAT!!! You messed up!!! Nothing special unfortunately. Was excited to try this spot and it's maybe a hair above average pizza. Wasn't able to go inside as my gf picked up the food so I'm just judging it based on flavor. The dough, sauce, and cheese all tasted like chain pizzeria ingredients. Bummer! read more
