It's been quite a few months since I've been here, and I was unaware of them closing and reopening. I loved this place before, very delicious and perfect for those late night cravings. I also loved how they'd package to go orders (packed inside a reusable bag, sealed in a plastic baggie with an ice pack) I've never seen any place pack their orders like that! I'm unsure if they still continue to use this method now that they're under new ownership (I assume). Anyways, I send an order in last at 11PM and start heading over there. Eat24 calls me to tell me my order has been inactive for over 12 minutes so I have them cancel. I arrive and go inside, as I'm standing there staring at this VERY bare menu one of the employees let's me know they changed their business hours and they closed at 11 instead of midnight, they just haven't gotten a chance to update their Yelp hours. Hmm, lame. Might want to make sure your hours are correct so people don't waste their time driving down there. (Also, you might want to lock the door if you're not open lol). Came back today to satisfy this Anko craving of mine, and I definitely was disappointed. Texture of the ice is much more dense, unlike before where it was nice and fluffy. Maybe I'll need to give it some time until they get the ball rolling again, but for now I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. *sigh* read more

Berry shaved ice: Taste and presentation was pretty good. Milk tea: Taste better than expected. Nothing really special about this place so I wouldn't go out of my way to go back unless I am in the area. read more

First time here and service was very friendly, place is nice/clean. Desserts are good (tried their waffles, Berry ice, and black sesame ice). Not my favorite ice place mainly because the flavors are added on top and in the center of the ice as opposed to other places I've tried (where the flavors are somehow cooked inside the ice, so every bite is flavorful). read more

Their waffles are good but it's very hit and miss one night I had them they were warm and fluffy but then I had them a week after and they felt sort of stale and cold . Their boba is decent but they are pretty over priced. There are many boba spots around I feel they should lower their prices to get into the game with their competition. read more

Their boba (Swing) tastes like cheap powder with food coloring. I had purple taro when I was starving for boba but I literally couldn't finish it. I would go there for shaved ice probably but NOT FOR BOBA! read more

The Grilled cheese anko was rather interesting as it was a dessert with bananna and condensed milk. The snow ice was rather tasty but nothing too special. This is the most delicious bingsoo I've ever had. The snow is packed, so you get more than expected and the presentation is beautiful. I got the black sesame flavor and it was simple yet delicious. There was no artificial sweet taste to it; it was very soft and in harmony with the flavor of the bingsoo. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to taste authentic bingsoo. read more

Not tasty. Wouldn't come here again. Their snow is just plain water...so if you eat everything on top, the rest is just bland water. I got their "most popular" Green tea one but the matcha flavor was not there at all. So little condensed milk.. There was no second layer of matcha or condensed milk as other snow places do. Also tried the Oreo one and it was eh. Compared to it's competitors I'd rather go to Crave or Hooshik which is so much flavorful. Come to Anko if you want water. 2 stars because their service was very friendly. I like how they have a size for someone who wants to eat alone and also for 2 people. The pricing is not as expensive as other snow places like Sul & Beans. Also, decorations are cute. There is a self serve water unlimited water place. Sorry but wouldn't come back. read more

This is a nice place to hang out with your friends. The prices are legit and the shaved ice tasted good. The staffs are very nice too, one of them came to our table to check if everything is alright even though she didn't have to like other coffee shops. It was my first time there and I really liked it, I would love to come back later. But it's really hard to see from outside I didn't even know there is a place like this inside of the shopping center. and the parking is valet and it's 2 dollars which is fine. their espresso shaved ice is phenomenal. it has granola on it with honey(?). it goes really well with the rich espresso flavor. an immediate favorite. sometimes they put too much condensed milk but other than that I love it here. read more

Came here about a little over an hour before closing & it was the worse experience. The guy rudely said "you can only order 1 & 2, everything is sold out" He didn't even as much as greet us hello. & When i didn't hear/understand it the first time he repeated it with even more attitude! What people fail to realize is customer service goes a really long way. He could have simply greeted us with a "Hi guys how's it going tonight, unfortunately all we have available are options 1 & 2. Let me know if you have questions." That would have been more believable. But yet the way he came across was as if he just didn't want to do anymore work bcus it was an hour before closing. & When I asked questions about their pastries & other stuff he looked at me with so nonchalantly & said we have nothing left. Even if the truth was you guys were completely sold out, he didn't sound very sincere. Or maybe should just tell your customers you really close an hour before preciously stated! It's sad that this was my first time & I will NEVER come back. I left empty handed do to your poor excuse of an employee. It was an hour before closing on Wednesday, 07/01/15. I suggest you figure out who was on that night & give him more training in customer service! I was so upset I didn't even ask for his name. read more

My mom and I have, collectively, tried EVERY SINGLE bingsoo here, and although some were definitely better than others (oreo was too sweet for our taste. We love the black sesame and the injeolmi) However, they have consistently given us big portions with the condensed milk on the side, and honestly, nothing is wrong about this place! They have every level of sweetness as an option depending on what your taste is, and they can even accommodate vegans or dairy-sensitive people with a soy milk option! Best injulmi bingsoo in k-town. The sauces are layered nicely from outside to the inside unlike other places which just put toppings. As you dig deeper into the shaved ice your tongue is tickled by the burst of subtle flavors without getting overwhelmed. read more

This place is pretty clean and very cool. A lot of seating available and price is pretty good. The bingsoo is delicious and the toast is pretty damn good too. I came here because my friend insisted to go here because it was "new" but I found out that it was just a wannabe Ocrumong, another bingsoo place down the street that is famous for their petite and delicious bingsoo. The only difference was that it was bigger and it tasted worse. Much worse. If you want to have a unique experience go to Ocrumong! I'm definitely going there next time. Good customer service but the valet parking here sucks. So rude, lost appetite by the time I got in. Today I went in the store to have a good time but only ruined my mood. I split the Strawberry Shaved Ice ($9.80) with three other people. I was pleasantly surprised - it was milky, had a good strawberry flavor, no hard ice bits, and melted in your mouth. The strawberries were also ripe and mixed within the shaved ice, too, not just on top. It also came with condensed milk on the side that you gives it that extra sweetness. First of all I like how they have valet (2$). you will not be annoyed for get parking spot. This place is very clean and cute. I sat by the corner with big screen TV the couch it's so comfy. I just felt like this place it's for you whoever want to relax and having good dessert. Me and my husband we didn't order any drink because we just had coffee from another cafe in neighborhood so we just order mango shaving ice, the staff are really nice. After we seated they even ask us if we want some drinking water, as a cafe it's self service I don't want to give them work but I really appreciated they still ask. Then my dessert was delivered. Mango shaved ice. It was really good. It's taste so fresh and good in level of sweet and sour just right at the middle. portion is good for 2ppl, not big not small. The price i had no complaint. so bad... came in on Saturday... nearly empty... 2/3 of the menu is not even worth trying... pricy.... regular churro that taste worse than churro at swap meet for $250 the price... the staffs are nice but its nothing special...waste the space of the real estate read more
