The drinkable mochi from the Mochi Mango and Mochi Oreo are really addictive. 3Cat Mochi has got to be the best I ever had so far. The texture and taste isn't something I am able to find in other places near my area (I have tried looking). I have done both in store ordering using the tablet and via online. Both options were easy to navigate. If visiting in store, there might a wait since it seems this place is popular. There is available seating inside. There are little tables, benches and stools if you decide to stay for a little bit. Parking situation varies. Both times I went, on Sundays, there were ample parking and no issues. Went to 3cat tonight and ordered the same drinks that weren't made correctly last time, safe to say it tasted the way it should(a relief) My previous review stated that the lime explosion wasn't made properly and that customers were permitted to touch everyone's drinks on the counters, my drink was taken by a patron and I waited a long time. Two signs on the counter instructed patrons to not touch drinks and show their drink number upon pick up. The owner was super vigilant and responsive about the issues and I really appreciate that. I have had nothing but great experiences at the other 3cat locations like Arcadia and San Gabriel so I'm glad to see that Ktown is finally catching up. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while because I live nearby and pass it regularly. Finally got a chance to! It's pretty good! The good: I tried their seasonal Matcha Chestnut and it was really tasty. You place your order at the kiosk and it doesn't take long to get your order. I think I waited 5-7 minutes. They work really fast and the price is good. $8 ish dollars for a specialty drink. Pretty good for Koreatown! The less good: The place feels dirty and clean at the same time. The "seating" is basically stools and low benches with maybe 3 or 4 high top tables smooshed together. It's kind of cramped--as this place must be popular--and feels sterile in a corporate beigey way. Not 100% the business's fault because it is a very small space but the white scuffed walls and minimalist decor feels rushed. It's a get in, get out kind of place. We ordered the avocado smoothie which came with crystal boba and mango puree, and we also ordered the matcha smoothie which came with their signature mochi. Their drinks are consistently good and you can really taste the fruit and the freshness of the smoothie. We received our drinks within 10 minutes of ordering. This location can get super busy though, especially on the weekends right after dinner. We've waited upwards of 30 minutes during that time. Would recommend ordering online if you decide to get 3Cat after dinner on the weekends! They have some seating inside the store but it can get pretty packed. There is parking in a parking lot with other shared businesses. Although it costs around $8 per drink, I think it's a nice treat. read more

I've been trying different 3CAT locations lately and something I've noticed is that they seem to specialize more in fruit teas and fruit-based drinks rather than milk teas. This time we ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea and the Cheese Berry drink. The jasmine green milk tea was good and refreshing, but I do feel like their fruit drinks are where they really shine. The Cheese Berry had a really nice fruity flavor and the cheese foam added a creamy, slightly salty contrast that made the drink more interesting. Personally, I'm more of a milk tea person, so fruit teas aren't usually my go-to. Even though I can tell their fruit drinks are well made, they're just not my personal preference. If you enjoy fruit teas though, this would probably be a great spot to try because that seems to be what they do best. The shop itself is clean, bright, and very open, which makes it feel comfortable when you walk in. They use self-order kiosks, which makes ordering quick and easy, and the staff there were also really nice if you needed help. This is one of the better boba shops in Ktown! I like their Mochi Mango, but this time I went I got one of their seasonal drinks, the Berry Cheesecake. It was good, it tasted like a drink version of a blueberry cheesecake. The berry smoothie part had a good amount of blueberry, but was a bit too sweet for me. The cheese part was light and not too tangy nor too sweet which was nice. The crunched up cookies were a nice touch, it was like actually eating a pie. While this drink was solid, it was a bit pricey for what it is at around $7.45. It was nice to try though. The have some seating and tables inside, but it isn't the best for a long period of time since they aren't the most comfortable. I do like the cat design of the boba shop though, it's cute! For parking, there's a parking lot in front shared with other businesses and I believe it's free. The service was pretty good and my drink came out very quickly. My friend also didn't like a part of her drink and they staff were able to remake her drink for her which was nice. Overall, a good experience here and I will continue to come back because they have some of the best boba drinks within Ktown. read more

I was very satisfied with this spot as they're a smaller spot with limited seating. Parking here is complicated, there's a valet person that will ask you where you're heading, can just tell them that you're picking up some drinks. Parking spaces are a bit tight and limited as the plaza has many other shops and restaurants. Staff here is great as I had a bulk order of 6 drinks. Ordered through the Snackpass app to avoid wait times and the order was ready within 5 minutes despite how busy it was on a weekend. This location is pretty cute inside with a self ordering kiosks to avoid waits, but ordering online is the way to go. Drinks here are pretty standard in comparison with other 3CATEA spots, my go to at this spot is always the mochi matcha, a refreshing drink perfect for anyday. read more

Let's start with the drink- I tried their special mango mochi signature beverage. The mochi and mango had great flavoring but it mainly consisted of ice. It was mostly what i tasted. Not so great. Did I mention that I waited 41 min for my drink? The place was packed. The lady in the front said that they do make the drinks in order but in batches. They made my batch ( I saw my drink with my name) 20 min in and I watched it sit there for another 20 min. I told the lady that the batch has been sitting there but she kept pushing out newly made drinks because they were being placed in front of her instead of pushing out the ones who were made earlier that was placed farther out. She ignored me along with another staff member. Worst customer service at a tea shop place I ever had. The drink was not even made well to begin with. Not worth it. I was quite happy to see a 3CAT in Koreatown, LA. But, the parking situation in the small lot makes it so hard to access. It's valet, with a parking attendant. And sometimes he'll rudely ask you to park at corner or in front of another car, and tells you to hurry. Imo, it's dumb, because the lot is not always full. They instead, will put orange cones in front of the parking space. But I understand that other businesses in the property needs parking as well. Just my thought. The 3CAT here is not as great as the ones in the San Gabriel Valley. I can't explain it, but the taste is different... maybe the sugar levels? I always order their Mochi Mango, or their Mango Sweet Dew. I've tried their Lime Explosion, Cheese Grape, and Fruit Melody. But, basically I go there for the Mango drinks. You get to adjust your sugar level to your liking at every location. But every location is different. Unfortunately this location hasn't been extraordinary for me. I usually order online, as just fo pick up if I'm in the area knowing that the parking situation there is not good. Overall, this location is decent. I think better than most Boba places in Koreatown. The staff here is personable, and they'll always check to make sure your order is correct. i honestly don't really get boba that much anymore but when i do, it's 3cat!! i love the texture of their boba and im still trying diff things on their menu to find a favorite drink. this time i tried the matcha dragonwell panna which is a new seasonal drink. i added brown sugar boba in mine. the cheesecake cream and matcha mousse combo made the drink very creamy and the first few sips were cool since i was getting different flavors - salty from the salted panna, sweet, etc. after mixing it all in, the drink itself was veryy sweet (i got regular sweetness) but that might've been also because of the brown sugar boba. it was nice to try but i'd want to try their other drinks next time. i took a sip of the yuzu berry and it tasted like a fruit smoothie. you could order through the tablet or with the cashier. there are only a few tables and the interior is very nice! they added valet more recently for $4, which is a con since the lot is not always full and they used to have the big parking lot for free which is one of the reasons i enjoyed this location :/ read more

My partner and I came here after a day of exploring and grocery shopping around Ktown. We were recommended to try the Jasmine Tea with soy mousse and mochi barley burst tea. I highly recommend this drink! The mochi barley burst was great too, it is definitely different but in a good way. They have actual mochi inside the drink, so it's hard to suck up the straw since it's so thick. I would get this again if I was craving mochi. The barley inside had a nice texture too. It wasn't hard or soft it was just right. The bursting balls inside the drink were also interesting! I felt like the barracuda from Finding Nemo eating these, if you know what I mean haha. They also have a parking lot, but it's kinda small.. BUT IT'S FREE. I would come back again and try their other drinks! Mango mochi (4/5): the mochi topping is the highlight of this drink, it's perfectly chewy and soft without making it too difficult to drink. It has a nice mochi flavor too. It pairs well with everything else in the drink including the milky slushy part and the mangoes, but I do wish that they put more mango because the mango flavor is very light when you mix everything together. It's overpowered by the milk slush part. White peach oolong (4/5): yummy! oolong tea with a subtle hint of peach. I do wish that the oolong flavor was a bit stronger, and the peach as well. I've only been twice, but the workers are always very busy from what I've seen, but they are never rude and are always willing to help if you need. It's not a place where you can sit down and study as it is a small store, the music is on the louder end, and there can be lots of people with not many seats. Came here late at night with some friends. It's pretty busy late at night and not a lot of seating. I like how there's a parking lot (no valet) as parking is a nightmare in ktown. They don't really have the typical drinks you'd find in a boba shop. I got the floral black milk tea. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be tasting any floral in the drink. If there is, I barely tasted it, some sips had some faint after taste. I'm actually not a big fan of floral drinks but I usually wouldn't come to a shop like this based on the menu selection so I was pleasantly surprised with this drink. I did notice that a lot of items did go out of stock near closing time so heads up on that. I like how they have a screen with both your order number and your name so if you forget your number, your name is on the screen and shows when your drink is ready.
