READ THIS :/ sadly it's important. I have had acrylic/dip nails nonstop for three years, and I have NEVER seen this. I am writing this at 2am, I have been up all night actually crying tears in pain trying not to wake up my boyfriend. I put a at the important part: First off, Ann, if you're reading this, I'm sure you mean well, but please take more care in what you're doing. I wouldn't be posting this if it wasn't so serious. Ann is a sweet person, and I was excited to have a nail salon within walking distance... if only she were a good nail technician. I just moved here. I went once, and noticed that rather than soaking my dip nails, she filed them with the machine, and it bothered my nails a bit. The next week I broke two nails. This was unusual, I don't ever break nails, especially the day after getting them done. I realize now it was because she had filed my natural nail to about 1/2 it's width. Not knowing anything was seriously wrong at this point, I went to to her to get them off and opted for acrylics (since those are stronger). She started to soak them, but she then proceeded to file them until I was in excruciating burning pain. I kept my mouth shut thinking it was going to be fine, she did some more soaking, I didn't realize anything was wrong, until my nails started bleeding, NOT from the sides, but a pool of blood came from the CENTER of my nail. Shocked, I began to feel my nails, they were all tender to the touch, that's when I realized Ann had essentially FILED OFF ALL MY NATURAL NAILS down to the bed of skin, leaving thin flaps for nails to hardly cover (and not cover in some places). I was devastated at that point, but there was no going back, all I could do was let her finish. I considered telling her to stop, but leaving them bare with the raw skin would be borderline dangerous. I told her what she had done and she said "you have naturally thin nails," and when I pointed to the blood she said "that's because you already had broken it" (it wasn't even one of the nails I had broken, and we all know broken nails don't bleed from the middle-up). Also, I've had acrylics for three years, and no, I don't have thin nails. She covered the bloody spots with glue (what) and proceeded to create the acrylics. Now it's like you would never know, except for the burning pain most of my fingers are now in. It's been getting progressively worse all day and now at 2am I am actually crying, and one of my finger tips has turned a bit purple and I had to wrap it in a bandaid to keep pressure on it. This is going to be a sleepless night and a painful month. It hurts a lot. read more

Made a last minute decision and totally regret it. She filed my nails so thin. I had been doing them and they were thick and healthy now they are thin. She doesn't soak them off, she only uses a electric file. She also did not take the polish to the edges Nor did she take off all of the previous Polish. When I asked if she was as going to fix it she asked which one. As a technician shouldn't you have a discerning eye to see this. I said never mind they are going to break anyway I can tell. As a business owner she was not concerned. She said ok. She did not ask me the shape I wanted and I decided not to even get the pedicure. I'm going back to my regular spot at V's Where I am always satisfied. After the 2 months it will take to make my nails healthy again. read more

I came to this nail salon because my son bought me a gift certificate from here for my birthday. I came on a Sunday afternoon and I was the only one here. I got the upgraded European pedicure and it was amazing. Ann really took her time and paid attention to detail. She really got my heels smooth which is the most important to me in a pedicure. The scrub, hot stone massage and hot towels felt so relaxing. It was not rushed. She speaks English and really is soft spoken and gentle, allowing you to really just relax. If service is always this good I have found my new pedicure salon. read more

This is my MIL's nail place and since her birthday is coming up, I thought a GC to her nail place would be a great gift. It place is pretty small. It is tucked in between two other stores, I missed it the first time. I walked in and was greeted by the lady employee doing a manicure on a customer. I told her I needed a GC. She stopped the manicure and helped me. I noticed the place only had 6 pedicure chairs and 3 to 4 nail stations, but only 2 employees. I can see why they are slow. read more

My mom and I went here and both got our nails and toes done. The pedicure was great, but the manicure ended up being a complete waste of money. After 2 days, one of my moms nails broke off and after a few more days, a couple more nails fell off. Within one week, 4 of my nails had fallen off. I love this place! This is the only place I have ever been satisfied with my nails, and I've been to a lot. There is only one thing; the wait is a little long some times. Not a place if you are in a hurry. But if you want a nice relaxing nails experience then this is the place. The tech there is really nice and very talented. My girlfriend and I came here for a pedicure last Saturday since she lives right around the corner. When we walked in, there appeared to be a wait, so we asked how long the wait would be before we opted to stay. There were two female technicians doing manicures and one male technician doing the pedicure. One of the women told us 15-20 minutes so we decided to wait. The guy started up the foot baths and invited us to have seat and soak our feet while we waited. 35 minutes later and he is just coming over to start on my feet. The guy was really slow and kept doublechecking what he was doing. I am not sure how often he does pedicures. About 25 minutes into it, he was getting ready to start on the leg massage at which point I asked that he paint my nails because I couldn't stay much longer. This whole time my friend was still waiting on her pedicure (50 minutes) soaking her feet. About the end of my fast-forward pedi, one of the nail technicians came over to start on my friend and apologized to both of us for the wait and how long it took. And the weird thing was that the polish I chose ended up being way lighter on my toes than it looked in the bottle. So, not only was I not able to receive the full pedicure but I didn't get the color I wanted. Yes, I could have asked them to change the polish but I didn't have enough time. Had the wait truly been 15-20 minutes, this would have been a non-issue. The basic pedi was $21. For that price, I have had better pedis but I can probably forgive alot for a $20 pedi. This place was very clean and Ann was super friendly (at first) I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted, and she said she could do it, as I trusted her with what I wanted to be done. I ended up getting this... I called back after 20 minutes, because I was very disappointed in my nails. I did not want to make a scene in person as she did have a client, I am not the type of person to want anything for free or complain. She was very nice and considerate over the phone saying I could come back in 2 hours and was very sweet. But as soon as I walked in she told me that, that is what my nails are supposed to look like, and slapped my money in my hand and told me "just take your money and leave" I still wanted her to fix my nails or even start over. But she did not give me the option she just kicked me out and left me with these nails that I am not happy with. I would recommend this place to someone who just wants basic nails, but nothing fancy. Went in for a fill a couple of weeks after my full set and last review and not happy. Nails were all crooked and I have a terrible fill line in my pink which I've rarely had in the several years I've been having my nails done. Asked Ann to level out my tips and they are still crooked. Will not be returning, actually removed them and am on the search once again. read more

This is a very mixed review. When you walk into the shop it is very neat and clean. However, there are only two techs so you will experience a wait. The massage chair that I had sounded as if it was on its last leg. The owner Ann did my pedicure. She is friendly enough, but not overly friendly. As far as the pedicure, the massage was wonderful and she did a great job. The flower design she did was great! I am unsure if I will return due to the quality of the massage chairs and the lack of staff. The pricing structure here meets every budget level. read more

I've been to 3 nails salons in the last 2 months. I came here and finally left satisfied. The price for a color change broken nail and pedicure was inexpensive for the quality and service. I like when they take their time and don't let me leave with sloppy work so I wAs very happy. If you have time This is a place to go to. They even stayed open later on a Sunday!! I wouldn't recommend if you are in a hurry. 5 stars well deserved! read more
