I've been coming here since I was 14 years old. I went for my to get my nails done for my birthday and the lady that did my pedicure said she was gonna charge 100. I said that was fine and then when we went to check out, she tipped herself $35 and when I asked her $35 and she goes yes that's my tip. I didn't like that I would have preferred to be able to make my own decision on how much I wanted to tip her since she already charged me $100 for a pedicure. I called spoke to the owner. I dread trying new nail salons because I'm often disappointed but not this time. I went on a Sunday morning shortly after they opened and assumed it would be busy since it was the weekend. Everyone said hello and was very welcoming. I walked in with no appointment anticipating a wait but there was no wait! I've never been to a salon with no wait. They just have so many staff and are able to quickly accommodate people. What a splendid concept. I got a dip manicure and the young guy that did my nails was the best. He was quick and efficient yet very gentle. I will request him every time I go. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and quick and efficient as well. I came in for a pedicure and full set. My pedicure was disrupted by him complaining about my tiny toes, mind you they do this for kids too. It came out chunky and the gel stuck to my toes and came off then my nail tech also complained constantly about my hand placement and became agitated and rough. I have been going to this place since I was in high school (15+ years), whether it was for Prom or other big events. On Friday, I made an appt for my nieces for the following day. I had the worst experience and was completely dismissed by the owner. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated, we finally got sat and both of my nieces were started on almost right away. Their pedicures took almost 40 minutes while I sat there awkwardly waiting in the chair in between them. Another employee said he would be with me shortly, but then started on 2 other people for a different service. The issue was brought up to the owner and he stated, "Yeah I know we're busy". They were not busy, and I had an appt. I'm glad my nieces were taken care of before me so they could enjoy their first experience. After waiting a total of an hour, I did not end up getting a pedicure. Most disappointed in the owner's response and lack of professionalism. I don't mind the waiting, but I was ignored on multiple occasions. This place has gone downhill. read more

The very first time I came to this salon I had a great experience. My nail artist Lam gave me a dip manicure & it was perfection. I came back a second time and had a different nail artist. Unfortunately my nails were chipping after two days which was very frustrating. I called the salon and voiced my concern. They had me return & they were able to do my entire dip manicure again, no charge. I really appreciate that they took accountability for my chipped nails & were able to get me in for a new set. They still serve alcohol, my toes looks so frickin cute and the customer service was good. The reason for 3 stars is the sanitation . I scheduled an appointment yesterday and came in today for two pedicures and the eh both went very well. My polish was great . I had cracked and broken a nail and was worried Itd look ugly but they fixed it ! LOL The 3 stars is because this place needs a deep clean and some upgrades . The wine glass was work OUT. A glass or new plastic ware would be great. They had menus that show services and wine and I asked for a black Modelo and was served merlot then they said there's no Modelo at all and the merlot was too harsh for me honestly but I just kept it The whole shop seemed to need a nice deep clean of the stations, floor and seats . The nail techs sanitation with her tools didn't seems up to par. They left the tools used to scrub my feet in the dirty water, rinsed it with water and then put it back in her tub. It's nice they serve drinks and the nails come out great but sanitation is very important so new cups , new towels,new menus ! And new tools with better sustained sanitation and this place would be on top! read more

This was my second time at glamour nails! Lam did an amazing job! Getting your nails done, should be a relaxing. That doesn't induced anxiety! In the past, I've been to several nail salon throughout the valley that cut me with the electric file however, lam was extremely gentle and paid attention to detail. Let me start by saying I have been coming here for years, even got my wedding nails done by Lam a year and a half ago. The service, however, just isn't the same... I made an appt for two manis for a friend and I. Since she's new to the valley I wanted to take her here. We get there early and I was sat right away. My friend, however, had to wait 30 minutes past our appt. time and we did not get to sit next to each other. We were not offered the complimentary mimosas or beverage. The nail tech who did my flower design was snippy with me. And it was overall a very poor experience... This nail salon has gotten me back into the routine of having my nails done. I have been coming here for about 8 months now and never have I had to wait for someone to be available. I am always taken to a chair immediately which other salons are not super great about. Additionally their treatments are relatively fast. For pedicures they usually take 30 minutes which is important to me as I don't have much longer than that to sit at a salon. They also accept payment and tips in credit. Here goes. I may be able to update my review if some questions get answered. Like sterilization. I came from a state that outlawed "cheese graters" for pedicures. Props to the nail tech for using oil and not cutting me. They don't use the pumice scrubby things, they use something permanently affixed to a plastic handle. All the techs equipment is in what appears to be a tackle box. After the cheese grater and whatever that handled thing was, it was dunked in the foot spa water (dirty), given a cursory spray with the hose and dropped back in the tackle box on top of all the other equipment. So, even if the used equipment is sterilized between customers, it's still placed in the same box as unused equipment. I paid for hot stone massage. One run up my shins, one down the back of my legs. End of hot stone massage. My cuticles were not trimmed. Nail polish needed another coat. There is NO social distancing. Manicure stations are 3 to a table. 12 in all. Elbow to elbow. Pedicure chairs are within 3 feet of each other. The place was packed. All nail techs wore masks, some customers had them below their nose or not at all because they were drinking complimentary mimosas. That evening, my feet started to itch. I had to soak them in cool water and added antibacterial soap. I slathered them in cortisone cream and wore socks to bed. Quite possibly a coincidence but I've never had that happen before. I really wanted this to be my place, but there was just so much I couldn't overlook. read more

I've been coming here off and on since they opened. From 2018-2021 I lived in buckeye so I didn't come here during that time, but I was really pleased that my nail tech Amy was still employed here when I returned after 3 years! Any time I need my nails/toes done I always make appointments with Amy. She's the absolute best, she's super funny, and I love chitchatting with her! She does my nails exactly the way I like, I don't even have to tell her what I want because she already knows haha! I highly recommend making an appointment with her! Maybe it's because I've been coming here for so many years, but it feels like a second home to me. I'm super comfortable when I come here, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

Completely ruined my natural nails! Never had a problem with this place but it was a mistake going there at the end of the day. I went in to change my dip nails to liquid gel. The nail tech drilled off my dip nails instead of soaking and she drilled my nails SO THIN. As they're growing back you can see a deep dent in my nails from my new growth. It's been 2 weeks and my nails still hurt!!! Never going back. (In the photo you can really see how deep it is on that third nail) This isn't supposed to happen on your NATURAL nails. I honestly wasn't going to post, but I'm so upset about my experience I feel obligated to share. I made an appointment for 7/29/2020 at 1030. I arrived on time & waited an additional 20 minutes before I was seen. While waiting, the owner told me the nail tech was smoking & asked me what I wanted. I showed him a picture of ombré acrylics. He told me that they didn't have the color I wanted, but gave me multiple samples to choose from. I found/settled for this nail polish called, "cinnamon whip". Once, the nail tech was ready, I showed him a picture of what I wanted. The color that I requested is brought out & I notice that it's a gel polish. I've never seen ombré down with gel, but I figured I wasn't an expert. He gets to the part where he is painting the acrylics, & I notice he's doing this sponge technique with the polish. He does this serveral times; painting the nail, then repeatedly dabbing it with a sponge. Once he's done, I look at the nails & they're average. He charges me $45 (discount included) & I leave him a $5 tip. I go outside & notice my nails in natural lighting. I'm mortified! This is not the service I showed them, nor is it what I paid for. I go back in & show the owner, & he explains that ombré can't be accomplished with gel nail polish. My concern is, why didn't anyone tell me that? If the customer requests a service, at what point, does the expert explain the best route to achieve the desired look? The owner told me to have a seat & the nail tech would be back to fix it, but he didn't come back. Someone else did. I ended up choosing a solid color, & he did a poor job. My guess, is that it wasn't his mess up & he wasn't getting paid for it, so he didn't care. Once he's done, I notice I have nail polish in the nail folds, spots missed, & it's obvious it was a rushed job. I haven't had my nails done in almost 2 years, & I wanted them done for my birthday this Saturday. Now, I'm stuck with these nails that I don't want. I wish I could have saved my money, but this was an experience I definitely learned from. Ultimately, I don't think this place is bad business. I have visited them previously & have been very pleased with their services. I just think the ball was dropped this time. *Please see pictures* read more

Never again. Spa needs cleaned. Very overpriced. $90 for a full set. $45 for a pedi which is normal. Pedicure was not relaxing, technician seemed annoyed and didn't spend much time doing callus removal or massage with sugar scrub. I can't get over the $90 for a full set though. read more

Updating due to Covid and summer visit: I have moved out of state, but visit Arizona regularly and always visit this salon when in town. I visited today July 14th with my daughter. While their friendly service hasn't changed, I was a bit disappointed today. I felt that nothing has changed in regards to cleanliness due to Covid. None of the pedicure chairs were wiped down after one was used, neither were menus for nail services, nail color wheels, or the stations. (We were there for over an hour and saw several people come and go) Most employees wore masks, but a few didn't or were on incorrectly. The salon felt typically cluttered- which to me implies it's not completely wiped down on a regular basis. My pedicure and manicure were a bit rushed today- my feet didn't look or feel better for having had the callous removal and one of my toenails isn't completely painted. I also didn't get a second coat for my toes. My hands look fine...but not as good as usual. Disappointed but will be back next visit. Hopefully the salon will update it's cleanliness policies with Covid and flu season coming up. read more

If you're in the Surprise, Peoria, Glendale AZ area, (not sure the other neighboring cities as Im new here) I'd definitely suggest making the trek to Lam's nail salon. Also, I totally spaced it, but if you check in via Yelp or mention the Yelp page, they offer 10% off services (nit including a polish change) Spoke to Lam yesterday and I was able to set an appointment for this afternoon, a Saturday. First time with acrylics in almost 4 years. After careful review of several AZ nail salons, I am so thankful for Yelp reviewers and their photos. Merely off the photo testimonials, my first two choices for a new acrylic set with white and pink ombré, coffin shape nails were either Lam or Justin. Their location is off North Litchfield in the CVS shopping center but on the opposite end of CVS. I was immediately seated in the spa chair for my pedicure and offered a beverage from their bar menu. My spa pedicure went very nicely. I did the basic one which I believe was $22. My guy opted for the paraffin and more spa-like pedicure which was $35. I can safely say he thoroughly enjoyed his spa pedicure and a cold bottle of brew. I haven't had acrylics for some time now so I was hesitant that my hands would be sore from the filing. Far from it. Lam does such a beautiful job of shaping and the ombré affect. My nails look beautiful and they're filed so naturally. It's such a treat to get to enjoy long and pretty nails again. Super happy with their work and I'd definitely recommend a visit to their salon. It will be busy, but they're efficient and attentive. Thank you again, Lam and Staff. read more

He had my ombre on point, I will definitely be back for upkeep. The pedicure felt a bit rushed and I can't recall the name of the tech, but overall it was enjoyable. I love getting my nails done and visiting new salons. I do believe in sanitation and for each person to have new clippers/new callus remover/ etc. At this salon they used the same callus remover on all the ladies. It is not sanitary to use the same callus remover on every person. Some people bleed as they remove the dead skin, may have fungus, etc. They did not use new clippers for everyone when removing in-grown nails which has the same bleeding issue. They offer alcoholic beverages as you wait to try and elevate the atmosphere. I will not be back. read more

It is actually my birthday tomorrow so I thought I would treat myself. I got my nails and feet done and they even gave me some Mimosa. My toe lady and my hand lady are two separate people. The lady who did my feet was wonderful I definitely felt very relaxed. The lady who did my nails did a really good job it's funny because originally I wanted a black and dark blue ombre set With some glitter. When we applied the glitter my nails turned metallic. Honestly I love it. Not at all what I was wanting but the results came out amazing. I think my nails cost was $60 and my toes were 40 but I didn't do a traditional nail polish I did do the gel and I have the hot rocks and massage and sugar scrub definitely worth the price. He did a great job removing my old acrylics and kept checking in to make sure it wasn't hurting, I have a high pain tolerance and am used to people being rough but I didn't feel a thing. Pros: I called and made an apt at 4 and got in at 4 They do Apple Pay Cons: Never could relax, the tech was rushing every step. 18 minutes in and out for a 50 dollar pedicure is not okay. Hot stone massage isn't not one time up the leg and back down the other. The overall sterilization of the tools was questionable. I asked for the stone and they used a foot grader Moved my Sandals far away from me, so I had to walk on the floor barefoot and almost slipped. I asked for square nails and I got a very chunky shape. The acrylic was applied from bottom to top.
