Made an appointment this morning and I cannot say enough nice things. This will definitely be my go to salon! Am so glad I found it. The service is absolutely amazing!!!!!! They are all so nice. The place is clean and pretty. My nail tech was Winnie! Very professional and knows what she's doing! I am very particular with my nails and nail shape. And she did everything amazingly. I tend to get 60-90 minute nail art, most found on Pinterest. The health of my nails is much better since I've been going to miGak consistently. It's my natural nails, no extensions needed. The polish and the removal do not destroy my nails like Vanity Projects and other comparable nail shops. Everyone is sweet. I book online at Vagaro. You do need to plan ahead. I usually book my appointment right after I get my manicure. I can usually go 4-5 weeks and I rarely have chipped nails.

I came in for a basic gel removal, manicure, pedicure, and regular polish. During the gel removal, nail dust was blown all over my face and clothing. My nails were filed unevenly, no base coat was applied, and the polish was left rough and jagged at the tips. When I politely pointed this out, the technician attempted a fix that made them look worse. After I raised the issue again, communication became difficult and another employee ultimately had to correct the work. The service itself was disappointing. There was no hand or foot massage, no hot towel, and the pedicure water wasn't even warm. After the service, there wasn't an available drying station, so I was left sitting in a folding chair waiting for my nails to dry. To make matters worse, I was charged $80 for a regular polish manicure and pedicure with gel removal, and the additional charge for gel removal was never clearly disclosed beforehand. Despite multiple attempts to address my concerns, I left with nails that still looked poorly done. I will not be returning.

This is a two part review separating the Nail Techs skills from the Business & Time management…read more The space is very small but cute. 3 nail stations & 3 pedicure stations. 5/5 for the Nail Tech - Tracy (@_nailgenie_)is a very talented nail tech. She takes her time to ensure your nails are perfectly shaped and designed. I have followed her work from previous salons and never have been disappointed. 2/5 for the Establishment/ Time Management - My appointment was at 6:00pm,I arrived at 5:50pm. My nail tech was running behind a person & finishing up a client when I arrived. So during that time I decided to get a pedicure to match the wait time. I finished my feet at 7:15pm. I did not end up in the chair until 9:35pm for my nails (I had a 6:00pm appointment for my nails booked in advance). Why wait? I had an important meeting the next day and needed my nails done and it was too late to go anywhere else. My nail process was completed at 11:52pm. I was fully charged for all services (even though I basically completed a full part time evening shift by waiting). I would suggest : 1. Longer time slot appointments for the nail tech to complete her work. (2 hrs maybe). 2. If the nail tech is running behind a client, give a courtesy call to the following client so they know how to manage their time or reschedule. 3. Remember that it is a business and friends and family need to respect that you have clients in the place of business. (don't let them use it as a hang out spot if they are not there for services) 4. Better air circulation to remove the heavy smell of the nail products being used in the salon since it is a small space.
