Now why 3 stars- when generally they don't do reservations. But for a party of 6 or more they do and charge 18% gratuity by default. And in one of our visits they added gratuity and without informing they also asked for tipped. Blind sided us ( 2 families) paid 15 % on top, which was way more than actual bill, as 15 percent was paid on total bill . After going home when we realized, we called them but they refused to do anything. We felt like cheated and misinformed.

The menu is extensive so we had a bit of a hard time choosing what to try but we ended up with the gol cuppe, hare masalay ki tikka app (basically spiced and fried potato patties), malai chicken tikka, fish masala and avadhi paneer, jeera rice, and dahi (yogurt) with butter naans. I was surprised they don't offer a specific kids menu but perhaps they may add one in the future. The food was tasty and presented nicely - my fave dish was the paneer. There did seem to be a bit of a wait in between dishes but that was ok as we were having a family visit and not in a rush anyway. Our servers were nice but again were a bit slow to check in, etc. Would like to return again to try more dishes including the fusion pasta items as they sound very interesting.

For appetizers tried the chilly crispy potatoes, the paneer bao and the vada croissant. The potatoes were good but the bao and vada were excellent. Both were unique fusion takes on traditional dishes. We all really enjoyed them. For mains we had the dal makhani, mango bindi masala, methi malai paneer and vegetable jalfrezi. All were very good. Each has their own unique aspect. The dal was served with a buttery foam, the methi paneer was a a nice change from other more common paneer dishes, the mango added a subtle sweetness to the okra which I never would have imagined together, and the vegetable jalfrezi was a little sweeter and still very tasty. Each of the dishes was spiced uniquely from one another and each tasted very good. Overall, this was an excellent experience. Highly recommend it.

The butter chicken came in a large dish, which was placed on top of a small pot with a flame inside, which kept the butter chicken hot during my entire visit; this was a great addition to the meal! The naan was an excellent accompaniment, along with the plain rice; everything was well-prepared, with the perfect amount of flavouring. It also wasn't spicy, which is perfect for my taste buds; this chef definitely knows how to cook an excellent meal! Nimrat checked on us regularly, filling our glasses with water, and taking away any dishes that we had finished with. Even the owner came by to greet us, and ask how we were enjoying everything. It's has a beautiful interior with lots of seating with an awesome central water feature. The owner spent some money on building this place out! The food was spectacular! So tasty & so delicious. We had Beet Root Tikka ($16.49). Super tasty with 3 separate side sauces that came with it. Our mains were Lahore Chicken Masala ($20.99) so tasty, spicy & delicious with a generous size serving. Second was the Chicken Kalamiri ($19.99). Again, very tasty with a nice little spice. We added two baskets of Naan (4.99/basket), they were hot, garlicky & fabulous. All with a side order of Jeera Rice ($5.99) that was a decent size as well. Our server "Rahul K" was a delightful young fella that was very tentative, polite & informative. All in all, a great first experience for this new location. They know how to DO IT RIGHT! It's a 100% do over from me!
