Spinach salad with garbanzo and kidney beans

Small plant based eatery with the most delicious pizza. Only a small area to eat in. Definitely recommend getting together. The buffalo cauliflower pizza was DELICIOUS !! Can't recommend enough. They did not skimp on the cauliflower. Service was pretty fast and they were friendly. Definitely will be back to try other things. Hopefully next time they will have the cheesecake for me to try ;)

Vegan fettuccine alfredo with breaded "chicken breast"

Delicious dinner, really nice employees, fully recommend. Wish I could go here more often but I live in NorCal! Bonus points for a restroom.

Vegan Shrimp Scampi Pasta, Fried Mushrooms, Zoe's Pink Sauce with Mushroom Pasta added Breaded Chickin Breast! So yummy and comforting!

Julie is amazing! I'm so happy that when we popped in on a weeknight, Julie herself was operating the shop and was so happy to help us out and feed us some great vegan Italian food. She had mentioned her spot had been operating for years as a regular Italian spot, but went vegan recently... and I have to say, that's such a commendable thing in this day and age (to save our climate, introduce more folks to yummy vegan food, etc.)! Julie makes her vegan Italian food GOOD. A shrimp scampi with vegan shrimp? Breaded vegan chicken? Pink sauce with mushroom pasta?! Fried mushrooms appetizer that are some of the best breaded mushrooms I've had, with a generous portion to boot! I'd be happy to support Julie and her business again. So many great solid vegan options, and it's great for takeout on a date night as well when wanting to eat home. My boyfriend and I dined in, and the portions are great for the price, and we had a great time. Great food. Some of the best comfort Italian vegan food around.

I heard about Julie Goes Green and decided to take a trip to try it out. First thing you notice when you walk in is the "peaceful" vibe from the natural wood astatic. Next it's the welcoming nature of the owner and her staff. Last and most importantly, the FOOD! While this was my 1st visit, I can't imagine anything here not being EXCELLENT!! I had the fried mushrooms and the Protein Pizza, and BOTH were excellent. Everything was freshly made and you could taste it in the quality of the flavorful dishes. I'll be back, and you should head over and check them out. Thank me later

Fried Chicken - crispy, vegan & delicious! (FYI, this is different from their "drum sticks".)

They have the most delicious vegan fried chicken I've ever eaten! Prior to eating this, my favorite vegan fried chicken was at Doomie's in Hollywood. Julie Goes Green is even better! So crispy & includes some spice (?) that reminds me of regular fried chicken, I think. Not the best photo but adding bcuz I want to show the crispy coating. Plant-based, vegetarian, vegan ppl who are also fried chicken ppl will LOVE it, IMO! Good customer service too. (Find this at the bottom of the small plates section of their menu. They also have good vegan drum sticks, similar to many other places, but the actual "fried chicken" is literally my favorite food anywhere.)

The vegan food options here were spot on. For all non-vegans, its really difficult to tell the difference. The place only has one table, so its time to make friends with anyone else eating here. The owners are sweet and make sure you're eating well. Simply lovely

A quaint place with a large vegan menu. We arrived in the evening and thought this place was going to be bigger than what it was. It has one communal table with about 6-8 chairs. Just a heads up for anyone dining in. With that said, we ordered the pepperoni pizza and calamari. The pizza was really good in my opinion. The calamari was good too but I really enjoyed the pizza the most. Prices are a bit higher than I expected but it's vegan and in Palms

The melty cheesy, flavorful sauce and toppings against the crispy crust made it super delicious. The downside is the pizza gets cold by the time you eat a second slice and you just crave experiencing what you had earlier. It is a bit difficult to have an intimate private conversation because the acoustics of the room made the music and conversations around echo. But if you're looking for the louder party vibe it's great! Super friendly staff as well, would recommend if you're in the arts district.

Okay, so I know I've driven by this place and went to an ice cream museum pop up back at the end of…read morethe covid fakedemic, but it really wasn't on my radar. Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

I finally went back and tried one of their vegan pastas I hadn't tried before, and there was meat in it (pancetta). I literally am feeling sick to my stomach--I'm pescatarian + non-dairy and stopped eating meat in 2013 so I'm sure you can imagine. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.

My friend and I ordered the melons appetizer which was refreshing and phenomenal - who knew pickles and sweet melon went together so beautifully?! For pizza, we ordered a slice of "Tomato Slice" with ricotta and a slice of pepperoni. We both loved the Tomato Slice but my friend thought the pepperoni was just ok. For dessert, my friend ordered the Princess Cake. Fortunately she let me try a bite so I can say it was moist and delicious! I got the coconut cream pie which was lovely with some mango on top, and to go, I snagged a slice of the stone fruit "slab" - they literally took off the "sold out" sign at opening and I immediately told our server I wanted some to take home! I tried it the next day, slightly warmed up and it was amazing! This spot is definitely worth the trek and parking struggle that is Silver Lake!
