I did point it out to her how rude she was with me and my daughter the second time I was there to pick up my daughter's dress. She decided to bring another customer into our conversation for her defense but the customer refused to intervene. Her sister is very polite and her coworker is polite as well, but the owner is very horrible at customer service. She definitely needs to take a class to welcome her customers.

She would text me with questions and status updates, which was a major stress reliever for an anxious bride like me lol. She is an independent seamstress, which was a quality that I was looking for because I have more trust for an independent person rather than a large alterations/seamstress place. What I'd like to point out first, is that the super kind human who took our order was absolutely that: super kind. My partner and I felt good about our research and choice of NextGen, and the wire rack piled to the top with comforters, mattress pads and other bedding only furthered our confidence. Sadly, once we removed the bed from the bag, I felt confused that perhaps the wrong item had been picked up. It looked nearly identical to when we'd first brought it to NextGen, but with quite a few more strands of (different lengths) of hair stuck to it throughout. Secondly, almost every quilted square of the bed had faux filling bunched up in a variety of balls--I had originally purchased the square patterned bed to avoid this problem once cleaned. :( I wanted to bring my item back immediately, however, my health at the time did not allow it. I gave two stars for the kind atmosphere. P.s. I am attaching a very faded receipt, with the word, "wait" written at the top, because I felt it so important to write a review. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by some of the friendliest people we've ever met (and an adorable little cat!), and Michael took the time to walk us through every step of the process. He helped us choose fabrics, explained the history behind different áo dài styles, and made thoughtful recommendations based on how traditional we wanted our outfits to be. When we ran into a small issue because there wasn't enough of one fabric we loved, he was incredibly accommodating and helped us come up with different ideas while also offering to try to source more of the same fabric. What stood out most was Michael's kindness and genuine care. He never made us feel rushed and truly wanted us to leave with something we'd love.
