We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. We had the Western bacon burger, and their french fries and enjoyed the whole meal. Prices aren't the cheapest but they did give a military discount which, as a veteran, I appreciate. Soooooo so so. Aaahhhh omg I sooo wanted to like this place. All the videos on social media and Yelp reviews made me want to try this place. Well let's get into this review. Yes their portions are a nice size for their prices. But the flavors missed the spot on everything. My French toast came out cold as well as my potatoes. Hubby's biscuit and gravy were bland. His burrito was big but lacked flavor for everything that was in it. OMG and the coffee cake... on the menu it says famous coffee cake. Nooooooo hunny. That was the most disappointing dish we ordered. It came out warm but as soon as we tried it, it was hard. Like it was put in the microwave. Overall the food here is like Dennys or ihop with bigger portions. I stopped eating at Dennys and ihop over 5 years ago. If you want big portions for a great price but lack of flavor then this place will do fine. And I forgot to take a pic of the coffee cake cuz the server forgot to bring it until we reminded him, and seemed annoyed when we did. Have been going to Temecula for years. So happy it has come to riverside east so we in Moreno Valley can enjoy closer to home. Their monte Cristo is fantastic. I wish I have never stop at Annie's cafe, my lady and I are very disappointed. Food was so wack,we ordered the chilaquiles and steak. It was missing ingredientes and was very cold. 4 sorry pieces of steak that honestly looked like slim jims. I had TV dinners more delicious then this. Not to mention ..the women's restroom per my girlfriend, were extremely dirty with no toilet paper. All service personnel looked clueless. Brought us our very watery milkshakes which was our first item ordered - in to go cups. Items were missing from our food order and after finding someone to tell her bc she had never come back, she brought the plate followed with "wasn't my fault!" When speaking with her while finishing settling the check, she walked off to a table about 2 tables away. My mouth was literally open bc words were coming out when she did this. Service was cheerful but slow. My husband ordered sausage n eggs n pancake. He only ate the pancake. I order the sausage pattie which looked like it was warmed but uncooked. The potatoes had cold bell peppers n onions as if added after potatoes were cooked. The eggs were runny n they brought another cooked the same. I ate the egg white n nothing else. I even paid more for the patty vs link. I ate part of the dry biscuit which they cut in half n browned. They eventually brought cold butter. They asked how our food was although they should have known by most food was uneaten. I did tell the very polite man at the register It was the worst breakfast we ever had. Funnel cake french toast is entirely tooooo delicious. 3rd time ordering this and it's just as good as the first time. The funnel cake flavor is definitely present.
