Finally made it in to the new Annie's. The menu is extensive for a breakfast lunch spot. Found two of my favorites, the Monte Cristo and the Cubano sandwiches. Opted for the Monte Cristo with input from my server Alondra, and was not disappointed. Loaded with ham and shaved turkey and paired with a not too sweet berry jam. Yum! Service was excellent. Quick with the drinks and refills, but not hovering. I like to read while I'm eating and Alondra passed by several times to see how I was doing but didn't stop to talk each time, just caught my eye and moved on. Thank you. I will definately be back. A nice change of pace from the places I've been going for the last 40 years. read more

The entrance on a busy Saturday was very organized as well as being greeted by the hostess right away checked us in. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes to be expected on a Saturday.... We were a party of 4 we were sat that literally felt like the size of a card table.... With a huge condiments holder taking an amount of our small card table..... Fantastic choice of food in the menu including Menudo which none in our party tried. The server was kind to review our options for breakfast.... The Ambience is great with family members, noisy for my taste.... Server never came back to offer more coffee?! We were assisted mostly by the busboy who was very polite. Our plates were not picked up immediately. Will definitely have to come by during the week to see if the service is different and quiter. Restaurant looked clean however, the food lacked seasoning. The eggs were rubbery, the hash browns tasted like powder, I asked for a Medium steak and it was rare. The best thing were the pancakes. My guest also felt the same about their food except the French toast was good. They were kind enough to take the steak off the bill. Would never return read more

I put my name down for a party of 4 and was told it would be 20-30 minutes. I'm nine months pregnant so after waiting for 30 minutes and not moving up on the list at all (we could check our place online) I went to check what was going on and noticed they were seating every party that came in. When I asked what was going on they said they would check our spot on the list but seated us quickly because there was no one else waiting. Not too sure what was going on but my husband asked for a manager to file a complaint and we were told there was no manager on site so I'm guessing that's why things were not running smoothly. Saw this place online, from the start it was busy lots of people, it took a little to get seated but man the wait was worth it. With quick service we ordered and had the best breakfast! Everything was so yummy! The place was clean and a little loud due to the high volume of people but nothing crazy. And the best waitress made it even better, Bianca C. I came in with my mom and grandma and was told there was a 15 minute wait, it did not take that long, yay. Our server Roman was kind and had good suggestions. The food was tasty, came out faster than expected too. When we got our food we received the wrong order of eggs but our problem was solved so fast. The restaurant has a fun theme that matches the food on the menu it took a while to decide what we wanted since there's so many options. We were staying at the Mission Inn in Riverside and my wife decided to look for a local breakfast place instead of just going downstairs. We ended up at Annie's. It was a bit of a drive, but, boy was it worth it! My wife had a big bowl of oatmeal and I had the pork chops and eggs. Service was first rate, prices were reasonable, and the food was top notch. Best boneless breakfast pork chops I've had since I can't remember when (juicy, tasty, not over-cooked), and Kathy said the oatmeal was great! Cottage fries could have been a little warmer, but everything else was so good that I'm not deducting any points for that. Nice folks, great atmosphere, highly recommend. read more

I went here in October and was seated quickly and had a friendly waitress. However, it took almost an hour to get our food from the time we placed the order. We ended up asking for the check for our drinks because we were tired of waiting and suddenly our food was ready. I hadn't gone back since until this past Monday. We walked in, nobody else was waiting and tons of empty seats but there was no hostess. I saw multiple employees look over at us and not greet us. Finally after about 5 minutes some girl walks up to seat us. I had my infant and she asked if we had any babies (I mean I'm clearly holding an infant carrier) and takes us to our table and walks away. Our table had 5 chairs (there were 6 of us including the baby) & she left me standing there holding the baby in the carrier with nowhere to place him. Someone from our party walked back over to ask her if they had an infant carrier and she said no; I ended up grabbing a chair from another table to put the carrier on and just held onto it hoping it wouldn't fall. We looked over the menu and noticed everything was really expensive (even for today's prices) but it didn't matter because NOBODY CAME TO WAIT ON US!! After 10 minutes of not even a drink order, we got up and left. We went down to El Dfectuoso (delicious food) and were greeted and seated promptly and were served great food quickly with great service. I will not be returning to Annie's again read more

People very nice and helpful and had to have a few things clarified on the menu because it was not clear. Others at table also had questions. We asked a bus person for assistance and he politely helped us out with refill 2x we had asked different people for refills. The food came and then that was the last time we seen our server. Being in the food service industry I assumed she went on break but was never introduced to anyone. So nobody came to help us. We waited almost 30 min for a check after we finished to finally ask another server if she could refill the coffee and get our check. She then said oh your server went on break and she said as supposed to be helping us. No manager was seen. By that time the server came back from her break and asked if we were good. We were so done. Got a vanilla latte that was down right disgusting with about 1/2" at the bottom was pure syrup.(think value menu iced coffee from farmer boys) All in all for two people, bill was over $60 for some very bland mediocre food and I was not impressed at all. We went at around 10:30 in the morning so it was quite busy but our wait was short and service was fast. The restaurant was clean but a bit loud (due to being so crowded). Breakfast was excellent I had the Biscuit Special w/ Home Fries (peppers & Onions added). The Gravy was excellent, the biscuit was perfect, eggs cooked perfectly, sausage full of flavor and the Home Fries were full of flavor. My Husband got the Bigger breakfast his scrambled eggs were perfect, hash browns were nice and crispy on top, and the sausage was full of flavor.
