Wow!! If I could give 10s I would!! I have had several kinds of fries there and there are many more to choose from. Our favorite is garlic-Parmesan fries but there is chili fries, Korean bbq fries, spicy Annys fries and about 7 more! Very nice people working there, I order to go a lot but there are tables inside and outside. They always get the order right. The wings are amazing enough that I was there 3 weeks in a row! I have given this place a try twice this year. Both times my burgers have been a mess. The second time was during covid-19. I tried to support businesses during this time, but I can't at this location. A burger should be juicy, but my bottom bun shouldn't be a soggy mess and uneditable. Worst customer service I have ever received. We ordered to go and the food was inedible. The hot dog was completely burned and the lettuce on the protein burger was rotten. We called to let them know and they said we would have to bring the food back for a refund. I have a 1 and 3 year old and wasn't about to drive all the way back there. I said I could send photos and to please refund. They said we still had to have the card to process the refund but we could come in at a later day. I said do we need anything besides the card and they said no. I went in today and they would not honor what they said. I never complain and food or ask for refunds but the food they sent was disgusting and even with out tasting it the person boxing it should of known better than to send it home with someone. After spending a portion of the afternoon watching the food channel, I was growing increasingly hungry and craving burgers. Our holiday shopping endeavors took us to the fine community of the Santee. Quick search on Yelp led us to Anny's. Tucked away in the back of the complex near the trolley tracks, it wasn't real easy to find but definitely worth it once we got there. With a casual atmosphere and friendly staff, Anny's did not disappoint. I opted for the Hangover Burger, complete with a fried egg and potato chips on the burger. The burger was huge and packed with flavor. The fries were tasty and come in several varieties. We chose Salt and Pepper fries and Cajun Fries. The Cajun fries packed a little punch and well worth the extra kick. RA wanted a fried egg on her burger, but not all the other goodness that comes on the Hangover. No problem! You can add an egg to any burger. RA, SA and I all got combo meals for a total tally of around $37. Not cheap, but it won't break the bank either and well worth every penny! I'll be back! read more

This is way back by the trolley tracks in the Target Santee shopping center. The other day I really wanted a burger. I also needed to go to Target afterward. Enter Anny's. My husband and I were both very satisfied with our burgers- they were huge, juicy, and came with plenty of toppings. I had a California burger, which came with avocado-- the avocado was fresh and not at all brown, which I always look for. My husband had a bacon BBQ burger. The fries tasted fresh and were hot. The service was very good and friendly, with the cashier offering me extra sauces and asking if we needed anything else while we were eating. read more

Don't know what happen, went here once before COVID and it was good. Wife and I were in the area and hungry. We ordered the mushroom garlic burger, sweet potato fries and the Korean bbq fries. The burger patty was way over cooked, the Korean fries where more like a disgusting order of carne asada fries. My wife said the sweet potato fries were good. Of course we had to eat outside and the tables were disgusting. Haven't been wiped down in days. The mushrooms and garlic that were supposed to be on my burger were non existent in taste. Really bad....as said by the other reviewers. I went in for a couple burgers and fries. The burgers came out huge and looked great. But once I took a few bites, I realized it was just covering for the underlining issues. The burgers patty's were colorless, flavorless, and honestly tasted really bad. I brought it up to the guy at the counter, and even showed him the patty's. He didn't say anything besides "I'll bring it up to my manager". My wife and I love the food. The ingredients are fresh and the employees are friendly. The prices may be a little high for most. My hickory burger, garlic fries and soft drink was over $16.00. My wife & I split the meal which was cool but I can't see paying for two complete meals over $ 32.00. The first couple of times I came here and ordered a burger it was extremely dry. I'm not sure if it was just what I was ordering because whenever I would try my fiancé's, it was delicious and juicy. I always ask for my burgers medium rare, but it came out brown in the middle. The last time my fiancé suggested we come here I decided to go for something different and got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It was delicious! It was perfectly crispy and juicy fried chicken topped with creamy Swiss and ham. I've ordered it twice since then and every time it's been perfect. CRAFT BURGER? I'm not a big burger nut as shown by my lack of burger reviews. Somewhere between the favorite InNout type burger and gourmet restaurant style would be ideal for me. I've seen buzz around Anny's when I have been at the Santee shopping center. This time we gave it a try. It was packed! The typical combo of a burger "style", waffle fries, and a drink is what is their combo is. I mixed it up however by changing the waffle to sweet potato and upgrading the drink to an IPA. Now we are talking! It ends up being a little under $15 this way which is not TOO bad considering the IPA anywhere else would be $7-8 on it's own. To our surprise you can enjoy your beer outside which seems strange since right next to coldstone where children frequent. I would suggest to not get your beer in advance of the meal. It takes SO long to get your burger, you will have to order another. So take a glass of water with you while you wait and request the brew with the food. Finally the order came out nice and hot. The sweet potato fries were REALLY good. We tried the "California Burger", avocado and bacon which would have been great if we could find the burger LOL. There were so many things on it, I couldn't quite taste the meat. Overall, it was good. I will have to try a more traditional burger next time and see if it really is as good as people say. Maybe it's not fair, but the -1 star is related to lackluster service, (we had to clean our own tables). I will of course update when I go back! read more

Son was craving burgers and this place popped up on my Yelp search. It's located in a shopping center, which means you have plenty of parking, lol. We went in and they have their menu all over the wall. It's pretty big, you can't miss it. I ordered the buffalo chicken burger and my son and wife ordered a beef burger. The three of us were satisfied with our selection and I actually wanted a little bit more. The burger is a pretty decent size, I'm just a fatty, lol. I think what I liked the most, is that they have a great selection of fries. You can have them regular, cajun, garlic, I can't think of the rest, but they have quite a few to choose from. They also have wings, salads and hot dogs. I didn't try any of those previous mentioned items, but the wings did look good. I will definitely try the wings next time I go back. Ok, please hear me out...I'm not one to post a low-rated review without just cause, including allowing the manager/owner enough time to make things right beforehand. The ONLY reason there are two stars and not one is because my mom loves any and all standard hamburgers. She's liked Anny's each time she's been here. Mine haven't been horrible, but I can make the same, if not better, hamburgers myself at home. Let me explain. I'm trying new things and decided on the Hangover Burger. After the order was taken and paid, I asked the young lady if they could cook the egg over easy. She told me she would make sure the cooks knew about my request. It's a good thing I watched her because I had to remind her to tell the kitchen about the egg after she hung the ticket. When the burger arrived, the egg was overcooked. I told another server, who apologized, and said she'd have them do it again. When a burger returned, it was the same burger with a new egg. On top of that, I could see the cooks were staring to see what I was going to with it. Is that hospitality? The kicker is the egg wasn't cooked through - gross. I brought my plate back again, which the server apologized for again. A burger returned to me a third time - the SAME burger - but without an egg! The server mentioned that they're making a "new" one. To my surprise, a few minutes later a new EGG arrived! By now, the burger is cold, the chips are soggy and greasy from sitting, and the hot melted cheese has solidified. It's not the server's fault she was only able to offer a free pop in exchange for all of my hassle and she would have the store manager call me. I felt so bad for her because she knew it was ridonkulous; she was clearly kind-hearted and had a superior customer service demeanor. This incident occurred a week and a half ago and I have not received a phone call. That said, if the store policy is not to re-make a burger when a condiment/add-on is initially cooked wrong, we won't be back. read more

My boyfriend and I came in tonight and ordered an ultimate burger. We split it. He ordered "onions and pickles ON THE SIDE". They brought out the burger and it had a ton of onions on it (no pickles as they actually WERE on the side) plus they had put a big serving of grilled onions in a bowl on the side. The burger had cheese and mushrooms on it. The cheese was lost when I scraped off the onions. And on top of it all..... the meat looked like the fake burgers from burger King. It looked and tasted like they'd steamed the burger. When he went back inside, my boyfriend commented to the employee who took our order that the pickles and onions weren't on the side. This place had good reviews so I thought we'd give it a try. Service was friendly and the guy behind the counter made a good suggestion. Plus, the do made to order burgers. I had the Sand Dune. Their smokey teriyaki is fantastic. A super delicious combo with the bacon, cheddar and beef. They have nice buns as well (ya... I went there). I paired my burger with a Mother Earth Blonde Ale. Great call! The ale had a nice light feel on the palate and crisp finish. Definitely went well with the burger. I'd come here again and recommend it to my friends.
