A little disappointed. This was my second time at The Broken Egg. The first time, the wait was long, but the food and service were good enough for us to try it again. Unfortunately, this time there was another long wait. We did manage to get a seat at the bar which was a little faster. I ordered bacon Jam French toast and my husband got biscuits and gravy. My French toast was cold and honestly not that good. The sausage and eggs were perfect. My husband's meal was adequate. For that kind of money, I don't know if we'll go back. read more

Wow!! I loved this place!! I have severe dietary restrictions but this place could accommodate! The gluten free bread is the best I have had. They cooked my eggs perfectly! I like them over hard & not smashed. Edges crispy light brown. I have not been to one place where they cook over hard without smashing them even with instructions. I was super impressed! The server was fabulous! She was knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, very friendly & attentive. Her name is Kerri (spelling?). Great place, awesome food, great service! I went here for the first time and everything was good! I got the sage sausage patties, expected them to taste different but that was also my first time trying them and I wasn't displeased. We also go the blueberry lemonade mimosa and that was AMAZING!!! I'd definitely go back again, make a girls brunch out of it or something. read more

Have been going to this location since it's opened for 3 plus years and many other locations in other states. This particular one in Beavercreek, OH has definitely gone downhill overtime. After this exact visit on 8/20/22, my spouse and I have determined, we will no longer be dining here. Not only did we need to wait 35 plus minutes for our food to come out, after ordering a side a bacon to have with my Bloody Mary... the bacon came out a few minutes later and was cold and obviously old. Is this really what it's come down to? I really like the food at this restaurant but would say for the last 5 visits at THIS location, our orders have been coming out wrong. A simple request, we ask for no cheese, and it never fails that either they put cheese on the dish or take out the cheese along with other elements of the dish. Today we ordered Juevos Rancheros, which after the prolonged wait, we were served tortilla chips with an egg on it. Our server Jackson L was not attentive and was not interested about the customer service aspect. 100% regret leaving him a generous tip for the service rendered. Not only would we recommend eating here, it has also been recommended by many others to not dine here. Wait time was about 15 minutes so that was great. The server was very friend you and apologized for delay in taking Drink order, & delivering drink order. All of this took approximately 20 minutes. We had already decided what we would like to eat before they even took our drink order. Again, very apologetic for the delay so no big deal. When our food arrived instead of what I'd ordered we received 2 of what my son ordered. I immediately told the individual that brought out the food that wasn't what I had ordered. She informed me that it wouldn't take long to prepare what I had ordered and asked if we needed anything else. YUP...silverware which had never been given to us. Approximately 3 minutes later the waitress delivered the silverware so we no longer had to sit and stare at the food my son had ordered getting cold. After my son finished his food I received my corrected order. Everything was delicious but at no time did the manager stop by to apologize for the incorrect order or even a mention of a comp since I didn't get to eat breakfast at the same time as my son. I really would like to see a manager be engaged at this restaurant and when an error such as this happens at least a discussion on how to make our experience better. This place has a terrible process for yelp reservations. I waited for 45 minutes for a table but about 15 tables were seated in front of us after only being inside for 5 minutes. The people waiting should be seated occasionally as well. Then, after 45 minutes of being seated, we paid and we're finishing our drinks, when we were told that our table was needed for a party. We continued to receive multiple looks from the waitress and busboy checking if we were finished. They sat the large party next to us and told them "our table" would soon be added as soon as we finally finished. I waited an hour for my table, multiple people were sat in front of me, then I felt rushed so that another table could have my seat that was paid for. Terrible. read more

The food is freshly made and absolutely amazing! If you love eggs they have them done in multiple ways but with awesome flavors so they are not bland. Today I tried their special -Mediterranean bowl. It was a burst of flavors and just right amount of spice! My picky kid had pancakes and devoured them all! The food is good but we waited over 1 hour and 20 minutes. We changed our party size after meeting friends on arrival. We were told the change would not impact our place in the queue but a "few more minutes" due to additional people. But, without telling us, they moved us to the end of the queue. When we checked after waiting more than 30 minutes, we were told that we were next up. The manager said his tablet showed we arrived at 1:05 when we'd actually been there since 12:25.
