I'm not impressed. French toast cinnamon rolls were ok at best. Eggs weren't that good. Ice coffee she said " it's not..." service was great. Grits were horrible. Mocktail was cheap. I won't be back
Excellent food, excellent service and great ambiance. Everything at this restaurant is very delicious, always. Our server was Destiny, she was very patient while we were deciding on all the delicious options on the menu. Our breakfast was served fast, hot, and delicious.
I went on a Saturday about 11am and it was perfect timing before the brunch crowd. My server Kim was amazing and super kind!! I had the lemon blueberry mimosa and it was very good. I ordered the Country Powerbowl with a side of potatoes. The bowl was very fulfilling and the biscuit was fluffy and moist. My wait time was very short, and I had a nice window seat. I highly recommend!
A friend and I hopped in for brunch. I do have to say that they have some very kind and nice staff. We were very well taken care of and the waitress was very patient as we took forever to decide what to get (I attribute this to the zillion menu options). My friend got an OJ and I got some coffee to start with. My friend ordered the Lobster Brie Omelette with potatoes and English muffin. I ordered the Skinny Omelette with fruits and English muffin. My friend enjoyed her omelette (I assume). I wish I could say that. There was no spice whatsoever and it was rather very salty. I couldn't eat past two bites. And as someone who was starving, that's saying something. For the price point, it did not make any sense to what I got. Maybe this was an off day or maybe skinny omelette isn't the right order- either way, this won't be my go-to brunch spot.
A pretty solid standard breakfast choice. They have a waiting list but you don't necessarily have to put yourself on because a lot of times it won't be fully here I was there on a weekend morning, and had no issue. I got for the front and was able to get a seat right away. Everybody was friendly and make sure that I got seated immediately. All the service was good, I have no complaints about that. They checking us for times to make sure that everything was good at the table. It's a very open area. There is no outdoor fee, but there's plenty of things. It's on the corner of the strip mall so they have the whole corner for the most part so you can basically never really have to wait I assume. Unless if that crime after church brunch time lol. I wanted to get the pancakes. Regular, nothing special about them just good old fashioned with no extra bells and whistles. Just straight buttermilk and they were actually good. I also went with the brunch special, the Mardi gras on. Shrimp crawfish and sausage, it was super solid! It comes with potatoes, and I got a side of fruits as well cuz why not lol. I want to be a glutton, let me be a full glutton. But they have a whole lot more options. You can basically get whatever you want on these pancakes that they are serving, all types of fruits and cream cheeses and everything so they have a lot to try. Overall I would definitely go back. The food is solid, the services friendly and inviting, I don't have any complaints.
It's been awhile since I have eaten at Another Broken Egg Cafe in the Dunwoody area in Atlanta, GA but let me tell you, coming back to revisit this gem is always a good choice! The food is still amazingly delicious and the customer service is still impeccable. I dined with a friend of mine for a girls brunch and everything we ordered was amazing. I ordered the "Hey Lucy Omelette". The dish came with Chorizo, onions and green chilies omelette, topped with Cheddar Jack cheese and avocado. Sides of salsa and sour cream. The meal also comes with an English muffin and country potatoes. I couldn't help myself but I had to order some grits to accompany my meal and their city grits are so delicious. The city grits come with cheese and topped with baked bacon, green onions and tomatoes and let me tell you, you will be very sad after the last bite is gone. Another Broken Egg was really doing something when they came up with the concept of the ingredients in their city grits because I couldn't stop raving about them. I give this meal a 10/10. I left feeling satisfied and still wanting more city grits. smh. lol This location is one of my favorite location to come to. They have a waitlist so that helps when you're planning a visit. The restaurant was clean, inviting and is always great for a simple breakfast that ends up being a great choice and time well spent. I will say if you are in a bind and don't know where to brunch or just go to have a good breakfast, stop racking your brain and choose Another Broken Egg Cafe at the Dunwoody location, you won't be sorry. Run don't walk!
The area is nicely lit and the option to dine inside or outside. Our server was really nice and was able to give recommendations. The food was good, nothing over the top, but definitely above average. This is a place that some will really like and some will be okay with. The food presentation is also nice.
It was my first time visiting, and I was able to be seated right away on a Sunday mid-morning -- a nice surprise! Great food, great service, and very clean. I ordered the veggie omelette -- really good! I wasn't a big fan of the potatoes with onions and peppers, but overall everything was great. Definitely recommend!
Stopped here before dropping my boyfriend off at the airport and wanted to have a unique breakfast. We both tried the lobster hash Benedict which was filled with ingredients. My boyfriend ordered his with scrambled eggs and I chose to keep my eggs poached. Unfortunately when my order came out as you can see in the photos my eggs were not poached correctly. I don't know if the order was sitting or if the eggs were over cooked but yoke was stiff. The rest of the meal was good as it was topped with a lobster mix, eggs, fried onions and a hollandaise sauce on a hash brown. On the side I got the delicious city grits and my boyfriend got potatoes. Both were really good and satisfying. The restaurant was more spacious than the other location in Smyrna I visited before. The parking was more plentiful also due to the location being within a big plaza with other shops surrounding. Our server was kind and offered great menu suggestions based on our needs. I forgot his name. But overall a decent morning choice for breakfast.
Busy brunch spot! Located in a shopping center in Dunwoody there is plenty of parking at this location. Upon arrival at 11am on a Saturday the wait was a little over 30 min. I did notice on walking in that their health score was in the 70's which was concerning. However, continued anyways after waiting. The menu has plenty of vegetarian items from savory to sweet! I tried the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. They were good- for some reason I was thinking the pancakes would be flavored vs just having goat cheese/ blueberries on top. The pancakes though were just plain nothing special minus the small amount of toppings. My friend had the hash brown Benedict and enjoyed it. The total was less than 20$ per person and a large portion.

First off I have been to another broken egg at another location and it was great. This time....not so much! I was getting something to go to take to work and I work 5 minutes or less away. I leave the lot, get to the light and was going to grab a beignet and it was cold...I go to just check the rest of the food and it was all cold. The whole ordering to go experience was bad as well. I stood and waited for awhile...someone gave me a menu then walked off...then someone else came and took the order. I went to me car...came back in 7 minutes like they said, went to the bar stood there for about 7 more minutes before someone came out . I see a few people not one stopped, then the young lady from when I ordered popped out of the kitchen, saw me then said oh your food ..turned around and grabbed the bag of cold food and rang me up. read more

Came here for Brunch and ordered breakfast. It was pretty busy on a Saturday, but we only waited 10 minutes. As soon as we sat down we were waited on after 5 minutes. The server was very friendly. I got the Herbed Skinny Omelet which is egg whites and has roasted red peppers, goat cheese, asparagus and green onions. Sided with an English muffin and new potatoes. All was delicious which came out hot and fresh. I especially loved my omelet. It was seasoned just right and they put a fair amount of goat cheese which I was not expecting. My only con was I asked for no red peppers and it was on my omelet. It's okay because it was not much and I picked it off. Another Broken Egg Cafe is in the same strip mall as Walmart but on the Western-most end. Some may remember the Border's Book Store that was the anchor on that end (now long gone). I had the change of eating at ABEC with my usual lunch gang - one who is a vegetarian from India who also eats eggs - I try to accommodate him with the occasional breakfast place so he can get more than a couple of veggie sides. This place seemed to food-the-bill, so to speak. I believe Broken Egg is known more for its breakfast food rather than sandwiches, but on this occasion we all bought the latter instead of the former, so please take my review with this in mind. We arrived about 11:30 during a weekday - there wasn't anyone to greet us initially so I got a chance to look around and take a few snaps. It's an interesting restaurant with plenty of farm/country/chicken/egg themes with wood-appearing floors. There's a counter to one side, I'm guessing for diners to wait to be seated or perhaps for a quick bite or espresso. There were two tables seated and this doubled while we ate. The menu is mostly breakfast and featuring, you guessed it, egg and egg combinations. The omelets (Egg-straordinary Omelettes) looked particularly interesting but of course, we decided to go a different route and try the sandwiches. Sid ordered the veggie burger (looks like black bean) with a side of homefries. He said it was good but from looking at the sandwich the burger looked a little undercooked - he still ate it. Both Sangam and myself got the Turkey Burger - mine with a side-salad and his with fries. I thought it was good but nothing exceptional. The pricing seemed a little on the high side but still affordable. Service was a bit spotty - it looked like a single server was handling about a half-dozen tables. I've been spoiled by the amazing brunch places of Atlanta!! My friend Jonathan was craving breakfast/brunch and this has been on my list so we came here. People think its weird to review the different starbucks and fast food places of the world. Reviewing this Another Broken Egg feels similar to reviewing a consistent food place. Another Broken Egg was good, but nothing that left a lasting impression (except the city grits tasted amazing). I got a traditional breakfast with egg whites, a biscuit (instead of the english muffin), city grits (instead of the roasted potatoes) and andouille sausage. Everything tasted fine and the service was great. The coffee was just ok. I'm big on my coffee, especially hot coffee. We also got blueberry pancakes, which were actually not good to me at all. The blueberries didn't seem fresh and I guess I was expecting a little more from them because they were really simple. I don't remember there being any music and the ambiance wasn't anything special. It was literally... just another broken egg cafe... just like the title. If you do go here, I do recommend trying the city grits instead of the roasted potatoes. Those are amazing. read more
It's pretty hard to go wrong with a brunch joint. Love this place! Like any other competitors around the area, they're usually packed on weekends until closing (2pm). AREA/PARKING ABEC is located within the same plaza as Walmart, Olive Garden, Jason's Deli, Taki, etc. It has a private lot so plenty of parking. SERVICE/HOURS Store hours are from 7am-2pm. I've come here twice so far both on a weekend either Saturday or Sunday and the wait has been 20-30 minutes both times. Service is swift and the food came out within 10-15 minutes after ordering. Not bad for when it's busy! ENTREES TO ORDER: -The Yolk 7.69 (2 eggs any style, English muffin, and seasoned country potatoes). You can add choice of meat 8.99 (sausage, bacon, ham) for an extra charge. -French Toast 9.99 is to die for. Simple and delicious. Perfect amount of cinnamon. I did this during one of my visits and 'made it a combo,' 2 eggs and bacon 3.19. -Eggs Benedict 11.99 (grilled breakfast ham, 2 poached eggs, hollandaise, green onions and a side of seasoned country potatoes): This entree is tasty and filling. Add some Cholula/Tabasco to spice it up a little! They also serve Gluten-Free and Vegetarian options. read more

I have been to the Alpharetta location before and had a great experience, but I won't be returning to this location (Ashford Dunwoody). The hostess who greeted us was rude when we were checking in, corrected me on something I said, and told us it would be a 20-30 minute wait even though the girl seating people told her there was a table for 2 available right then, and she ignored her. We ended up being seated promptly by the other girl, but this particular hostess just gives a really bad first impression of the business. The place was overcrowded. The staff was very friendly from the time we entered the door. They opened the door for us and welcomed us in. We were promptly seated and our drinks were delivered shortly after. A Must Check Out! Yes, the wait was 45 minutes, but well worth it! Even gave us coffee while waiting. :-) Great menu with a large variety. They make their own coffee mugs which you can purchase. Very clean establishment and excellent customer service! Our waitress was Tisa. Definitely will request her next time in. She was very attentive. Always had water and coffee. And she even brought us some of their delicious Beignets on the house!! Yumm! They come with a very yummy homemade orange dipping sauce too! Satisfied my sweet tooth. I had been here once before a good while back and I wanted to see if it was as good as I remembered. Boy did it knock my socks off. The Chicken fried eggs Benedict was on point and the flavors and seasoning was just right. The City grits with it needed nothing added and were super creamy and flavorful. Pancakes are hot or miss but they did it right here. I am glad I tried one. Needless to say with all this food there was just no way to finish it all with the portion sizes what they were. Came here after the coffee and octane by perimeter mall with some motorcycling friends of mine, had the huevos rancheros with chorizo, it was very good, One of my friends had poached eggs that he returned because they were overcooked, they came back with the eggs perfectly cooked literally two minutes later, they must have been cooking them already, other than that slight hiccup service was fast and food was very very good, they have lots of parking since it's on a strip mall very close to perimeter Mall. read more

My family and I (total party of 11) visited the restaurant on Sunday, March 3, 2024. We tried to contact the restaurant prior to arrival to join the waitlist as directed by their VM and we did not get an answer. We arrived at the restaurant, we were seated, received our meals, paid and left. Then we check our bank accounts, and three family members were hit with the same charge two times, another family member was charged three times and my husband and I were charged five times. As I told the manager, the food was not that good, but it certainly was not worth $326.00. The most frustrating part of all of this no one would pick up the phone and no one returned our phone calls. My husband called 16 times and no response. My niece called at 7:00 a.m. today and no answer. I went to the restaurant today and spoke to Anthony, the manager, and explained the situation to him. I also reached out to the area manager, Chris Banks and reported this issue. It is unacceptable for a customer not to receive an immediate response from a business when there is a problem. We waited an hour and a half for our table. We've been here for 30 minutes and have only gotten water. Not even out drinks we ordered 15 minutes ago. We were just asked what we wanted to order 20 minutes into sitting down. And all we can hear is staff complaining about machines and yelling at each other.
