Thought we'd give this place a try since it was the first search result for breakfast places on yelp. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict with a side of grits and it's basically a lox bagel with a hard boiled egg thrown on top. When I think of eggs Benedict, I think of a gently poached egg with a silky runny yolk on top of a toasted English muffin with hollandaise sauce. The grits were thick and flavorless, almost like they used instant grits. This was the polar opposite. They should just call it a salmon lox bagel because it doesn't qualify to be called any type of Benedict. After dining at a few different Another Broken Egg Cafes, we decided to stop here for a nice brunch. The food was subpar relative to other cafes. The wait staff were nice and the overall cleanliness was good. We were told we would be receiving a statement credit due to a discount not being added to our bill. Though, the statement credit did not process. Overall, it's an okay cafe and we will divert to a different one in the future. read more

I had the Bourbon Street GF pancake breakfast and my husband had the Big Easy Scrambler. The food was outstanding, as it has been in literally every ABEC location I have ever been in, from the FL Panhandle to Jacksonville to Orlando. The coffee was hot and delicious. The BEST part of our visit was our server, Esteban! He was attentive and helpful. So, my 5 star review reflects on him, our amazing server, and the delicious food. However, the restaurant ambiance gets an ABSOLUTE ZERO! A Sunday morning breakfast/brunch should be PEACEFUL AND RELAXING! It was anything BUT! It's so NOISY in there it was anxiety producing. Poor Esteban couldn't hear us, and we REALLY couldn't hear him when you throw in the stupid, unnecessary, ineffective mask. It's was SO DISAPPOINTING! Ate here on a Sunday morning and the food was good, but service was not. Our waiter was a younger, slim guy with dark hair tied in a ponytail. We ate outside and we were a group of 9. Ordered coffee but the waiter forgot and had to be reminded. Utensils were not provided for a few of us at the table and we had to wait a couple of minutes after our food arrived for the waiter to bring some. Actually the food runner brought us utensils, an older gentleman who was courteous. Not enough glasses of water were provided at the table, as is usually the standard. I just asked for a straw and that was also forgotten as well. The crab cake benedict I ordered was really good, but the quality of service from our waiter negatively impacted my experience. I will try other locations, but I do not plan on returning to this one. read more

I've been here a couple of times now, and it's safe to say everything here is great! The food is so tasty and such a value for the portion. The drinks are great too, they can be pricey and don't offer bottomless mimosas, but it is fun to try the other drinks like the salted caramel cold brew and the different Bloody Mary options. My wife and I went to Another Broken Egg cafe at East Linton Blvd on Sunday March 27. The place was quite busy and the food took awhile to come out. As my wife was finishing her pancake meals, she felt something in her mouth which turned out to be a metal bolt. Luckily she did not bite down on it and no teeth were broken. Upon relating this to the waitress, who was extremely apologetic, she grabbed the bolt and took it to the manager. She came back to us and said he would be out in a few minutes. Half hour later, he was still not out so I went to the greeters stand to complain. The waitress came out and said the manager was too busy to come out see us. The manager sent via the waitress one future complimentary entree and not credit our meal. we are not looking for a free meal, but are appalled at the disinterest of management in their customers.
